- A Cheap and Cheerful Full English Breakfast with an overpriced coffee in Kev's Chill Out Bar, Playa De Las Americas, Tenerife. Everyone loves a cheap and cheerful breakfast when they are on holiday and are working to a budget. However if they try to make it back on the drinks by charging more for the coffee than the Full English Breakfast, then it doesn't work out that cheap.

You need to try a Full English Breakfast at Mooreish Delights Coffee House in Harworth (Near Doncaster). It's all about the Sausages!! 😂🤣

plus they make nothing on the breakfast and make it on the coffee which is fine. they're not a charity.
5..50 euros for a breakfast and a drink is still great value. 8.5/10 based on the value.

its the hangover talkling a full mug o latte is well worth 3 euros as other lattes u has is 1/2 the size
it’s actually a half full english, exactly what you’d want, except half the amount.
Let's face it they will be making next no profit from the English breakfast by the time they purchase the ingredients, pay for the gas/electric and the time spent cooking it. Forget about the individual prices of the breakfast and the coffee and judge it on the overall cost. If you think about it that way I would say it was a fair price.
And the breakfast look so delicious it’s making me hungry 🤤
Lee I think a hangover was well deserved how hard you’ve work and the content of the vlogs fab. Breakie looked good thing is coffee/tea always well over priced for wat it is lol. Love the views from Parque 2. 😎

You are quite right Moria Fitzsimons. The change left in the table was €15.50 which means the whole cost was €4.50 so that was excellent value in total. If you were just buying a latte on its own you would probably pay a little more than €2. Lee MUST have had a hangover like he said!!!

Ah so meal was only €4.50
Went in Kev's one morning for breakfast waited nearly three quarters of an hour & it still hadn't arrived. So just paid for our drinks and left. Plus it was lovely actually seeing you in person while I was there 👍
Was 7 went down to 6.5 for the Costa packet coffee .
i would say on looks a 7.2, When your dying for a coffee you will pay anything, and if it helped to reive you then take it on the chin.
Your definitely confused Lee 🤯 it's the hungover too many coffees ☕☕🤣🤣To be fair that not a bad breakfast for the money compared to some you had in uk!! but got to be in a glass or cup for me with a latte 😋 But then in a mug you do get more coffee 🤷♀️ and that man going in that door behind you Lee the way he was looking at you he was definitely confused he thought you was talk to your breakfast 🤪🤣🤣🤣😊xx
El Cedros 👍👍 every Saturday we go when over on the isle for a bit of brekky before putting footy bets on, that looked a decent breakfast but coffee too expensive
Spent a lot of my childhood around the patch, back when it was booming. My mum and dad loved the princess di & the brewers droop. We used to stay in parque santiago 2 as well.

Wake up with a hangover straight to the nearest transport cafe full English and a mug of tea cheap and cheerfull always found a good home
During my time away in Tenerife I didn’t venture away from The Thirsty Turtle cafe, top quality and great people working there!
Totally agree with you, the thirsty turtle is one hell of a place, lovely staff lovely food and cheap beer you couldn’t ask for more,
I feel for you in this one Lee. There's nothing worse than a hangover in hot weather. Breakfast looked decent but I just can't even think of food when I'm hungover. It's a catch 22 really because I know after you have something to eat, it helps you to recover, that and a couple of nurofen!!
5.50 for that was fine...How much if you had a Tea instead of coffee....I would give it a 9.

Firstly don't they have any cafe's on that island and secondly how much is €2:50 either in pounds or dollar's, because I've been out of England for 20 years I don't understand the conversion of the euro

I think a 7/10 from me.
Nice and very inexpensive breakfast that draws people in. It is how they market themselves: It brings in people knowing they will want a coffee to go with their meal. Very clever of them. I'd give a 8.9 just for the good value.
I wud love to have been there overdoing it in your company lee. Ha. We wud have a good dance n a laugh. I love positive positive people.
I know there was only 1 sausage, 1 egg, 1 bacon, Tomato, Toast and a spoonful of beans but it was only 2.50 ! Absolutely Bob On for the money! Get up, have a coffee in your room then go here for breakfast for a great hangover cure. Just don’t buy a drink!
Breakfast was minimal but cheap coffee wow rip off. B/fast 7.4 Coffee 5 as it was nice
Been to Kev's a few times. Down a walkway between the Patch and the beach. It is a bit overshadowed by the massive Princess Di's but is more relaxing. Also worth trying down there is the Burger Cafe, but only if you are hungry.

It's the same with places that do Euro pints. The rest of the drinks slightly dearer they gotta make money somehow..

Always go to either El Cedros or…what used to be Montana’s. Right under where you are staying in PS2. Full English with Coffee or juice included. Last time I was there it was €2.75.. Say hello to Yusef from me..

I see coffee average of £2.50 these days and in Tenerife, it would be close to that in many places in euros.
You did look a bit rough fella so that must have been one hell of a night. I reckon if you sat down and tucked into a pair of your flipflops with naff beans you'd have given it a ten. Hope you soon recovered. 😂👍
I agree with you Lee, i never like the fact that a beverage like tea or coffee is more expensive than the bargain breakfast, it kind of kills it for me to be honest, but the breakfast did look very good for €2.50, thanks for sharing as always 😀👍

Breakfast looked good, latte was not too expensive either. Watching your vlog from by the pool in Rhodes on second day of my holiday. All good - weather is even brighter here.

Looked a well decent brekkie especially for the money. Decent bacon and egg was quality! I would expect 2.5-3 euro for a latte considering its a cup of milk, competitive price imo
At €2.50 that’s is good value and arguably enough for most appetites, as for the coffee it is expensive and would rather pay more for my breakfast with a good cup of tea included 🤷🏻♂️ 8 for the breakfast 4 for the coffee 👍

Drinks are always the rip offs, Chinese buffet bars in London charge £2.50 for a tin of coke. Costs them around 30p.

Not bad breaky. Just right size portion for me and the coffee was in a mug not a cup so I'll give it a 8.5
Coffee overpowers everything, always Tea or fresh orange juice, well for me anyway with a full English, it's all about folks own tastes, breakfast looked a standard cheapy, ok though, but as you say 3 euros for a latte, mmmm, not happening.

That said, the brekkie looked canny and I would probably pop in for one, can't complain at all at 2.50 euros, I said not happening, meaning the latte. All businesses need a bit of support at this time.
Looks good to me Lee. Nice thick bread a solid 8.5.Can you give the pounds sterling equivalent when you tell us how much it is in euro's so I know how cheap things are. I have no idea what 1 euro equals in sterling lol.

Mmmmm coffee seemed a bit rich mate but breakfast didn't look too bad was that a hotdogs sausage as it looked rather large I would give it a 7 out of 10 like you say the overpriced coffee let it down but that's just my opinion 😉

It's how pretty much all bar restaurants work, they make there profit out of the drinks, looked good though.

For the money, the breakfast looked okay, the sausage looked like one of those that you microwave, but hey 2.5 euro's winner 8/10.
