Oh the wailing and gnashing of teeth from all of your anti-EV faithful! It's hilarious. Same people probably hung onto their pagers until the end, decrying the conspiracy on the left/right/center/moon that's preventing them from using their beloved pagers and forcing these newfangled cell phones on us! Personally I still prefer horse and buggy, unlimited range, just need to plan to be near fields to top up on grass.

EVs are history, hydrogen is the future.

Main difference = higher and faster depreciation.

Sustainability has been a UN buzzword since Limits to Growth was published in '72, however, we're not short of abiotic oil (not a 'theory' but validated by researchers at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm). The batteries in EVs are made from rare earth elements which are finite, so it's a physical impossibility that they are the future. The Club of Rome are clubbing us to death.

Unless my maths is wrong 68 per cent battery 185 miles range means 272 miles fully charged. Not so impressive for a 86 grand car. A 18 grand Corsa petrol will go at least 500 miles.

Evs are definitely not the future. Diesel and better still diesel hybrids would be the way to go. Or simply cleaner burning fuels of some sort.

I like the idea of EVs but range is always an issue also reliability.

So they will give you 48k.... But only if you buy another new EV..... So you will owe the 120k for the new car.... Plus 10k....for your old car.... =130k...and the new car will be worth about 80k within a couple of weeks... What an awfull situation.

I'm thinking you got preferential treatment there Mr MacMaster I was in there a couple of weeks back and we both got half the amount of chips that you got and not as many prawns in the prawn cocktail either. So basically if the the future is not all for a EV and more for a hybrid car then charging points in car parks will not really be needed because the petrol in the car will charge the battery. Meaning of the government is wanting all to go green by 2035 will not happen and petrol hybrid cars will live on

Coalbrookdale and ironbridge on River Severn in Shropshire were the birthplace of industrial revolution and this is recognised by the world heritage site signs around the area. It was there the first Iron bridge was made, using iron made using coke instead of charcoal, which massively increased supply of iron to make steel... Nearby Shrewsbury was also a big manufacturing centre.

I glad he did this video and was willing to listen to what a lot of people tell him, that EV are not as bad as he and others like to make out. Its pretty clear he does it for views and comments, I mean look at the title, WATCH BEFORE IT IS DELETED! Why would it be? Its unfortunate that people can make a lot of money from Drama videos, mis-information videos etc for just the clicks and dont really consider the damage it can do.

The idea that you can legislate in a technology which is currently inferior to the existing one has always seemed rather bonkers. Especially when the car is fundamental to the sucess of the Western economic model and when the the so called point of reducing CO2 has been proved to be a political smokescreen. Cars are responsible for 7% of the world's CO2 if they were all magically replaced by EV's that would fall to 5.5%,not my figures but those of the UN's climate body,so the change makes no difference. Let the technology stand on it's own 4 wheels and when it is seen as just as good or better people will make the change. The current legal prohibition will ultimately not work and will soon be dismantled by the US and EU as they see the popular mood will cost them votes and as they look to protect their industries from bankruptcy as they can't compete against the state subsidised imports from China.

After following your channel the past few days How can anyone now think that all your reviews whether EV cars or Fish & Chips etc. are honest reviews when you now show that you have not really honest. It makes your channel a joke
