    We have One the feel trim its a 330tkr sek car and We use it as second car, We measure 350kms range mixed driving Summer and 250kms highway speeds We Always do 100kmh because I found it to be most efficient there. Numbers above is fully packed. As you Said Björn Comfort is insane in this car We had a Kia Eniro that is much more noisier, the only downside with the eC4 is that it only comes with a schuko cable. Much recommended from an owner We use it as second car but can easily be used as only car. Cheers

    The car is equipped with a 50 kilowatt-hour battery, with which the ë-C4 achieves a 350-kilometer operating distance in WLTP measurement. However, at worst, we were closer to 150 kilometers.What made the situation particularly unpleasant was the way the car communicated about it. The estimated operating distance in the evening after charging was 306 kilometers when the battery charge was 94 percent. When you set off after a cold night, the reading has understandably dropped to 266 kilometers.At this point, a person relying on the system may step into a deep swamp. Exactly 57 kilometers later, the estimated operating distance was only 70 kilometers left! The problem was repeated during the test run in several different situations and with several drivers - this does not inspire confidence in the person moving to the electric car.Charging further highlights the problem - a cold battery when not charging very quickly. In theory, charging from zero to 80 percent is possible in as little as 30 minutes, but even in severe frosts, the charging power remained in the range of only about 11 kilowatts, even at its weakest fast chargers. The challenge applies to all electric cars, but some have been more successful here as well.

      I test drove recently one and can confirm it being very, very nice car. Fit and finish top notch, with good efficiency and super smooth, quiet ride. Range is enough for me, especially because of 100kW fast charging with almost flat charging curve. Waiting for info about next year incoming model, if there are any improvements. I have test driven at least dozen of EV's (including Teslas), and Citroen eC4 was first that I fell in love with. For every day driver, I don't need neck snapping acceleration as with Teslas have.

    Great car, that I have driven 8000km so far in various countries and terrains. The range test is only a long distance test. In regional or city traffic this care regenerates energy through breaking and de accelerating and the economy and range is much higher. It is very silent indeed. Very comfy seating also at large distances. Extremely light to handle, turn, it is really effortless to drive.

    Actually I think it would be more fair to count the 4% at the botton. It is just the GoM that shows dash dash dash, but you can see SoC real time in the APP and even turtle mode does not kick in until SoC is 2%. And all these SoCs are "display SoC" (the APP and you see in the car's screen that there is some "juice" left as 1/3 of the red zone is iluminated), BMS SoC should be a litter higher (as there is another botton buffer below 0% display SoC, and this one it is fair to not take it into account)

    Home charging a ec-4 with onboard 11kw charger using podpoint 7.4kw charger...will the speed be 7.4kw as i heard it could be half that again at home as 11kw slows down charging speed on phase one connection? Also if using 11kw onboard charger with 22 kw public chargers, will charging speed be 11kw ? (UK)

    • @costinioana
      @costinioana Před 2 lety

      Hi. The public 22kW chargers typically deliver ~10.5kW (as indicated by the charger), with ~9.5-9.8kW making it into the battery effectively (as reported by Car Scanner via OBD). I'm not sure how it behaves on high power one phase but, on the other hand, charging at home you don't really need more than 3.6kW. The battery is relatively small and 8h at 3.6kW means ~50% battery topped up. I wouldn't worry about it.

Set aside low quality parkings and restaurants. I experienced driving between Hamburg and Berlin. Autopilot goes crazy as on the road there are mix of white and old yellow lines plus patched asphalt forming horizontal line similar to stop lines.

What are you saying is 1000 km journey is not possible to do in EV in winter time with snow in one day. That's crap. We can buy bicycles instead.
