    Just test drove this last week. I absolutely fell in love with car. Like the styling and man, how it rides! Super smooth sailing, best I have experienced among EV's. And car is super quiet as well. Test drove earlier Hyundai Kona and it is pretty noisy. Yes, Tesla is super fast and handles better in high speed for sure, but this car is in class of it's own, when smooth and quiet ride is appreciated, with relaxing atmosphere. And build quality is top notch and interior super nice!

      Citroen, when they just take a step back from being like everyone else, really can do some great work…funky looks and a ride quality you’d be hard pressed to get from cars several times the price. Not everyone wants “sporty”… I’m glad Citroen realise this.

      @@angeldominguez4993 Spanish build quality reminds me of Hispano Carrocera, they made premium grade bus bodies which don't rattle & squeak (unlike the lousy British ones from Walter-Alexander or Duple-Metsec e.g. which not only squeak but crackle too !) like the Hispano Habit..used on Mercedes-Benz O 405 G bus-chassi etc. from the 1990's.

    Bjørn, compliments for your "French" pronunciation of the Citroën brand/trade name. The history of the family name is of a Jewish family in the Netherlands that changed their family name to the Dutch word "citroen" (pronunciation in English phonetic "citroon" or in French phonetic writing , "citroun" and this Dutch word means lemon (English) or citron (French)). Fruit and vegetable traders. Then the family landed in France with their Dutch family name and the French (or the family?) started to pronounce that name as "citroën" - the way you do - and it sounded less lemon like that.

    Their manual should be in their mobile app, you just download it and point the camera to the part of the car you want to search for and it will tell you how everything works for the part you point.

    In my opinion the charge port on the right side makes more sense if you live in continental Europe since you park on the right side of the street as well, where a charger would most likely be. In that case you'd have to put the cable around the car.
    I do get the garage argument though. So I guess there really is no correct side.

    Personally I prefer kWh/100 km.
    Battery capacity is measured in kWh, charging power in kW, and charging prices in currency/kWh. On top of that using L/100 km for many years before makes unit/100 km easy to work with.
    I'm a Model 3 owner and find that the Wh/km just adds confusion.

    I wish they'd do an e-C4 Picasso (or whatever they're calling it these days). So much more practical space in those. I have the Grand and I feel so spoiled by the 3 full size individually sliding and reclining second row seats. Also has a flat floor despite being ICE, so seems a battery conversion would be easy.

    • @MrGonzonator
      @MrGonzonator Před 3 lety +2

      @Peter Jakeways Vote with your wallet, and a regular email reminder to your local car dealer that if only they had a model you wanted to buy they would get a sale and eventually the message might get through 🤞🏻hasn't worked for me yet 😟so I'll keep driving my old diesel to the importers wake up and realise.

    • @Hvitserk67
      @Hvitserk67 Před 3 lety +4

      I completely agree. We have a C4 Picasso (short variant) and the car is actually quite practical. It is wide, relatively high and has a completely flat floor and thus offers good interior space. The challenge with the design of the car is that everyone today wants an SUV (or at least a design similar to an SUV). The C4 Picasso is a kind of middle ground between a MPV and an ordinary car. This therefore led to when the C5 Aircross came on the market, the C4 Picasso (short variant) was discontinued as a model. However, the C4 Grand Picasso (or SpaceTourer today) is still on sale.
      By the way, I have driven the new C4 (petrol 130 HP and with automatic transmission) and the car is really comfortable to drive relative to what it costs. A really nice car.

      @@Hvitserk67 If I'm lucky I might be able to test drive one in 2024? the Australian importer seems to be really trying to destroy Citroën in Oz, I heard that last month the sold 4 vehicles in the whole country! It's not helped by the fact the won't bring in any diesels or electrics only petrol models and the petrol models require premium fuel so no one wants them.

    The back window is going to be dirty at least 6 months of the year here in Norway since this car don't have viper for the back window. This is maybe not a huge problem in France or Spain but in Northern Europe with "dirty" roads in the winter months it is a problem. Nice car other wise.

    Fine car. I drove it. It is an absolute cool chillzone inside. This car makes you relaxed and nonaggressive. Well perhaps I order it next month ;-)
    But I think it is ridiculous that they put normal light bulbs for break lamps, rear turn lamps and reversing lamp in it. Come on boys and girls from Citroen! It is 2021 and that is a fully electric car. Light bulbs are from the last century.
    The other weird thing is, that you can only connect to Android car via cable. My old car radio can do better, it connects automatically via bluetooth to my android phone.

    I see that Citroen is not listening to the customers - the same menu issues are in my 2017 Grand C4 Picasso, it has probably the least logical menu I've ever seen, and here's no better. My old Skoda Octavia had much better menu and infotainment overall. Which is a shame, because other than that it seems a really nice car worth shortlisting. Oh and the battery, it should have like10 more kWh, than it would be super nice.
