BJORN, the 24th of July a few hundreds of NIOs ES8 departed from Shanghai to Norway. I expect you are going to be the first to try them. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Maybe time to upgrade to 1440p? At least those interior reviews, road trips quality does not matter, but 1080p is a bit blurry and YT uses low bitrate for it.
I have @ Corsa e elite nav. The car has the matrix headlights which are phenomenal and also a heated steering wheel. There are also additional lights inside the car and outside to greet you when it is dark. The headlights are the best I have ever had. Thanks Bjorn.
So, from all reviews I considered Citroen e-C4 as the best option quality/price/comfort/range within all PSA ev-platform(e-C4/208/2008/corsa/mokka/ds/)!
Definitely the best of the group and the only one I'd consider. Next is most likely to be an Enyaq, however.
1:35 .. lol at the amount of comments telling Bjorn what it is , after 5? years i think he now knows it's a bubble maker
The thing at 1:40 is an “Autbahnschlüssel”, you need it when driving in Germany to unlock speeds over 130km/h
Are you sure? It looks like a standard towing hook.
@@markplain2555 LOL
Nice interior video again.
You should really some day do a big investigation video about the ‘what the heck is this thing’ thing and tell us all about it. Maybe try and test the thing too for whatever it’s used.
Yeah I am very interested if it is magnesium, titanium or lead ;)
It's obviously a bubble blower. You dip the circular end into some soapy water and then blow through the hoop to make bubbles.
Bjorn, I never know when you are joking. The piece of metal in the trunk is just a towing hook which screws into the front of the vehicle. All cars (should) have one!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love the color I wish usa evs had this color . We get the same blue black white red and grey
Why you don’t talk about the park assist buttom ?
Why is the left side the „right“ side for a charge port?
If you charge your car in cities at the right side from the street is it the best solution. The left side is in cities dangerous for bikes and passing cars.
Get long enough cable. Problem solved. But for DC charging, you simply can't get a longer cable.
@@bjornnyland The problem is not the length of the cable but that it protrudes too far into the roadway and obstructs other road users. In many German and European streets, there is only a few centimetres of space between parked cars and moving cars and bicycles.
@@davids.6671 only 20% of all EV Driver has an garage.
Exactly. And "getting a long enough cable" can be really problematic for AC charging in case of typical roadside charging points e.g. in Germany if you get the rear parking spot, meaning the outlet is on the front right side. "Long enough" means 8m or 10m there.
And, regarding DC charging, it's only Tesla Superchargers that more or less require a charging port on the rear left side. When Opel developed the Mokka, they couldn't expect that Tesla opens up the superchargers.
4:15 There's no battery under the feet in PSA cars, just like in an e-golf.
Love the exterior, hate the interior. Cramped, dark, cheap.
After many bag and forth,me and my wife we orderet a Mokka i end of Juni. I think it was a good choice for our need. Ampera power in the Mokka will be a nice dreamcar 🤔
The Opel Corsa F also has steering wheel heating available (and matrix LED)
Bjorn catches newbie on a tow hook)))
Saw your review. I now own that exact car but in Red and RHD. Excellent reviews. I love the car.
“… some other features like battery percentage…”, that sums this car up baisically
the one you constantly ask about "had it is for" is to screw on the front of the car so you get a pull that you can be covered by another car
1:37 - this is called a towing hook lol
I understand that some design decisions Opel took are purely driven by costs reduction, but other are just non-sense. Missing 1€ led light in the rear seats? Stupid cupholder between rear seats? Empty buttons? Super fake carbon? Side-placed wireless charger so you have to pick up the phone to see a notification? Why Opel? Why?
I think there brill as I’ve ordered the Vauxhall mokka e Ultimate version to weeks ago
Hi Bjorn, I'm a long time subscriber and fan of yours. I am Romanian but staying for a week in Bergen. If by any chance you drive by here I'd love to say hello and maybe check one of the electric cars you drive as I have never been in an electric before.
Cheers, I enjoy watching you.
Could be kind and say the rear is childproof but don’t fancy trying to fit toddlers in their seats at night without a roof light. There’s cost cutting and then there is cost cutting. Like the recent formats BTW.
The prevalence of dirt-cheap looking finishes and material imitations has always bugged me about Opel. The excessive use of chrome, completely outdated piano finishes, plastic imitations of carbon and aluminum - it is a mystery to me how the design of department fails to see that these materials make the car look even more cheap.
This!!
They probably decided their customers don't want to pay for anything more than plain plastic, and the only ways plastic can be made is either the look and feel of plastic kitchenware, or bad imitations of whatever. I think somebody has to do it - make a technically nice car with cheap interior. Opel is known for this and there's a market for it.
This of course means, if you don't like it, it's not for you. Good thing the others are making the same car with different priorities if you want to pay for a fancier interior.
”What the heck is this thing” is almost certainly used for towing, in case one runs out of battery 😂
You do know he does that with every screw-in towing attachment he finds? It's one of his standard jokes.
It is a repeating joke he does for his followers.
Aaaah
Newcomers 😂😂😂👍😎
Repeating joke. Funny? Naaahhh
Headlight test?
8:13 The interesting thing is, that Renault cars in the cheapest trims got real carbon fiber, and it's only in the cheapest trims, not in the most expensive ones, example the Renault Megane 2015 model in the Limited trim had the Carbon fiber on doors, and on the dashboard, but now, i guess it doesn't have, also the car costs around 16k€, so a really cheap car with a Real carbon fiber? Even the BMW's for 35k € doesn't have real carbon fiber, as i seen, that's suspicious.
Nobody noticed the Opel shark easter egg in the cup holders?
Norway is the capital of EV.. Other country should learn from Norway.
I don't like the interior too much glossy black and fake carbon fibre. I prefer the Citroen
And fake leather on the seats, why don't they be honest and call it PVC instead of "leather effect"
⚡️
So, since it only has 136 hp you basically have to drive in sport mode all the time to not hinder other cars.
Drive one, your wrong 80bhp is fine. Remember torque is the important thing here and ev gets 100pct instantly.
Looks suspiciously similar to the vauxhall Mokka e
Very cheap looking interior.
This is one of the most, if not the most, unappealing interior design I've seen in a car.
awful interior...!
Seems like a crap car - hope it's cheap.
