      These look ace and just what I'm looking for, is it possible to get the grey colour code for these units, looked on the Geaves site but cannot see a Gloss grey.

    Much prefer the wider bed for sleeping and still have plenty storage as under the rib is plenty room.3 seats in the rear is a bonus.Think cover panel on base of rib sets it off along with a half rear wardrobe so can have rear windows for passengers for long journeys. The rib is a much more comfortable seat than the rock and roll.

      Yes I totally agree, there is now a cover panel on the front of the bed with the rear left open for access.
      We’re going to do a low level (half height wardrobe on one of our upcoming vans so keep an eye out for that one.

    Only just get round to ordering these after watching your upload12 months ago, just waiting on collection date, please can you advise on fitting the oak window panel, is this attached to the units before placing them in the van or to the van before placing the units in? just trying to get my head round this without seeing any fixings, thank you for any advice given. Btw great uploads of your conversions.

      Hi and thanks for the positive comments.
      We’d recommend fitting the splash back before the furniture is fully installed. You ideally want the splash to sit on the worktop and tuck behind the wardrobe unit. The top cabinet will help keep it in place but some battons behind the splash back will be needed to level it up and so you can bond it in place.
      Good luck with your build.

    Thanks for the video, we have a similar set up but not happy with the kitchen. We would be interested in seeing the cupboards open for a view of the space etc.

    I think this is close to my favourite layout. The U-shape seems a bit claustrophobic to me and the bed is too narrow for 2 adults.

    Can this bed be used on rails to bring the seat towards the front of the van and increase the boot space?

    • @dcdtransporters
      @dcdtransporters  Před 10 měsíci

      There are specific beds that can do that. This particular version is not suitable for rails. However the top part does slide back and forth to allow additional space
