I really wish we'd get more foreign aircraft at airshows in the US. I bet the "Flanker" would put on a great display!! 👍 If Violet lived close to me, I know a place for her to find a job. A couple of them, actually!! 😄
The white stripe vertical in the russian cockpits is the "spin recovery system", upon entering a spin you put the stick against the stripe and count 3 rotations, either it is recovering or if not then Eject !

All of PAF F-16s have PW engines including the block 52.
In Swift Retort no block 52s took part. All F-16s of Swift Retort were Block 15 MLUs. What did the job for PAF back then was superior radar jamming and extensive use of data link.

A suggestion for a future air battle: NORAD vs Soviet bomber forces, or SAC vs Soviet Air Defense Force.
It would be super interesting to see the result of B-52’s vs Su-15’s, or Tu-95’s vs F-106’s.

Am I missing something? Where are the back seaters in the MKI's? 4 sets of eyes are better than 2 for visual acq.
India is in the process of upgrading their Su-30mkis with AESA radar and GaN based EW pod.
The MKIs are going to get better.

The Chinese have their version of Growler in the Flanker platform with the J-16D variant too

Yup, Flanker not easy to control up there...
One would assume with that closure speed, and the angle, there would be damage to both. Those SU-27 are robust. See that video of one hitting a road sign while doing highway operations.

Yeh desync is common.
Also, Pak only has currently 18 Block 52+ aircraft only which is very low to have a major impact!!
Is block 52 the 2-seat version of block 50?

I have been thinking about it, currently they are all just concepts so not entirely sure what to do with them TBH.
@@grimreapers I think the best you could do at this point would be to test the concept itself. You can't show people how the final product will work but you can simulate the concept for them to show why this technology is being worked on. If you do that I would pick one of the missiles where we have a pretty good idea what it is going to look like so hopefully you can reuse the model once more concrete data comes out on it (if it in fact does enter production.) That's my two cents.

Just different design philosophies combined with different jet fuel compositions.
the soviet engines (russian) burn at a much higher temp. they also use a different fuel composition
More sulphur in kerosine and higher EGT make it blue in a lot of Russian planes.

an engagement between 2 stealthy aircraft will likely be at short distance, if they are replacing the raptor it's likely with something that has its dog fighting ability with improvements in areas its lacking

In 2019 pakisthani air force use f16 block 50/52 and aim 120 C5 missile not c7 and Indian side use su30 mki with R 77 - 1 missile 🙂 and the terrain was fully mountains,,, please correct your video

Can you make a Ukrainian JDAM bombing mission?It happened recently. How is it that Russians didn't intercept the Ukrainian aircraft with their fighters or shoot them down with S300,... I think that to drop the JDAM bombs the aircraft has to be really high, so why weren't they shot down by Russian S300, S400,...
JADAMs can be toss boomed with extreme accuracy. The Ukrainian jets can fly at low altitude and do a pull up maneuver and release the bombs at a high angle. This allows the Ukrainian jets to turn away and get to cover immediately and the bombs will hit there target with pinpoint accuracy.

Current Mk1 has only 8 mile advantage over the I-Derby ER which isn't going to make that much of a difference.
There is no good mod for it so it cant be done currently in game.
Pakistan already won this battle. After the IAF did a brilliant job of intercepting two F-16s in their airspace and bounced them - the only problem is the super-duper advanced Russian RADAR wouldn't lock over mach 1 - and the R-77s fired pitbull missed despite being practically a nose shot. This is why the IAF are ditching R-77 (being replaced with Israeli Derby) and are desperate for a western partner to put non-Russian avionics in their Su-30s. Great planes - terrible systems. Typical Russian junk that doesn't actually work.

@@Life_isstrange Lol no. The Mk1 is a basic solid propellant rocket, while the Derby ER has a dual pulse motor. The Derby will have better energy in the end stages of its flight compared to the Mk1, despite the Mk1 having a slight range improvement. Wait for the Mk2. That will be a much much better missile than the I-Derby ER. And this is a simulator. You need to relax. The Su-30MKI literally dominated the F-16s. Stop crying about the Astra.

Astra Mk1 has 68 mile range while I-Derby ER has 62 miles. Not that much of a difference. And do you really think a jammer pod will be accurately represented in a simulator? Did you see how the MKI dodged the missile which flew right under it? The MKI literally outperformed the F-16 every single time. Stop crying and watch the whole video.
