Here's a tip, if you're looking at diversifying your crops. There's no rule that says you have to sow the same crop across an entire field, especially ones that big. What I did was, split both those two fields (15 and 18 that is) down the middle logistically and sow soybeans and canola on one, sunflowers and oats on the other. You just need to leave a little space between the two crops (easier if you're using guidanceSteering but well doable with a little care if not). If you are thinking of getting into pigs this would be an ideal way of harvesting most of their needs together in one "season".
Just an FYI. You don't necessarily need to buy a new Combine to use a bigger header. I ran a test and each combine can connect to nearly every header. The only issue is if the combine has the horsepower to drive the header. The grain headers are much easier to run. I connected that Massey Activa Combine to the 41ft New Holland and 40ft John Deere grain headers and it seemed the run them fine (though I didn't put it on a hill).
So you could try getting the bigger header first, then replace the combine later once you can afford it. Though it might look a little weird for a while.

That is a wonderful choice of tractor, i am currently using it in my play-through and i can't say enough good things about it. It has a good choice of tires, a good range of HP, a good view range from the cab and it looks good too. The only complaints i have with it is a minor ones and that is that it is a bit loud compared to other tractors in the same size hp range and there is no color selection for the body, but i guess you can't have everything :D

This is the first modded map I've ever used in all the versions of FS I've played. And that's in part due to your videos.
Love the video daggerwin the Deutz is class I used to have a 6.07A commander a brilliant tractor and was quick to on bouncy back roads
I planted a line of grass up the middle, split the field beside the warehouses in half, and I sold the tractors I had for one big and one small fastrac, but I kept the deer :)

I like this Deutz Fahr too, I have 2 of them on my console save game on Mercury Farm. Very useful, cheap and I like the drop nose style too. A good mod.

I've got the same fields, but different setup as I started on Farm Manager (although I do have the same harvester as you. :-) )
You should sell one of the big fields and buy one or both of the small ones, so you can use the big Ones in streams and the small ones for the series :)

Last summer we had a Claas tractor for lease on our farm. The second time we used it the door shattered to pieces while closing it. The gearbox is also pretty buggy and doesnt always go into the last 3 gears dont recommend Claas Tractors the Combines are really good though!

If you want a decent combine, the top of the range is either New Holland or Claas
Daggerwin, don't let the class catch fire like the dominator
The Deutz has a very farty sounding exhaust, but then it is second-hand and the exhaust is probably burnt out! Unlike the second-hand Ford you had in Felsbrunn, which blew black smoke, the Deutz burns much cleaner, so the engine is good.

You can’t sell that field otherwise you will sell your farm because it comes as a package also you could just convert it to grass and then convert your other grass field to crop because that’s really good field for it

I love the Deutz, it's cheap and appropriate for the map as well.
You should definately get the Claas combine, the real Marwell Manor farm has one if you go to Google maps and go down the lane to the area next to field 19 it is there

Dagger, I notice you are still running patch 1.2 you really should update to patch 1.3 it fixes quite a few things and it also add a few new features which are quite nice. For example it'll now tell you what you have loaded into a trailer/combine/planter and what percentage it's at.
All the fields you now have are all in one, so you can’t sell one of them
Unless it's been changed but yeah it's all in one bit of land.

In the US we say mitas like mitis
U more like the Deutz with the normal front than the Freisicht one you gote. But I think that the Freisicht one is for frontloader work due to the houd being very low at the front
The tractor can make a bit of lag. I think, not sure though.
