People have been saying to "sell" the field by not using it and putting the equivalent money into your bank account.
I did out the maths and the percentage of the total area of the field in question is =~28% of the entire blue shaded farm region, so out of 450,470 the money that you would get would be =~126,131.

I think you should come up with a price for the field you wanted to sell and add it to your account and then just not work in the field. So its like you would have sold it!

Daggerwin, the center gate will allow you to open and close it when you walk away from the triggers then walk directly up to the gate. If you open either of the side gates it wont allow you to. But if you walk away and come back it should allow you to open it then.
Dagger you can use the feed mixer wagons to shred straw bales.
The trigger to open the middle gate is a lot further away from the gate than you would think it should be. It's actually in the general area of the furthest part of the yellow trigger markings in front of the gate.
You forgot the mucking out.. You could always do some contracts dagger. You're forgetting you can do contracts in 19
He did forget to clean. He does that a lot, like the cleanliness of the animals is a moot point. Also, I seem to remember some black round bale silage on the farm. Is that any good or is it just for decoration?

Dagger, I don't believe the 'great demand' means it's a good price, I've seen far better prices elsewhere when a great demand has been on, I think you'll find, it means it'll just stay at that price longer, nothing to do with the actual price itself, just means after selling 1 trailer, it won't start dropping right away, as in, they need a lot of it (demand)..
Good point, I noticed that too, sometimes 'great demand' isn't so great on the price offered, and just because a price is red and falling it is often still the best price by far.

The combine needs service because its going much slower and the header makes it so you don’t get as much crop
Thats not true. Stop spreading lies :p lol vehicles wear and tear does nothing. Only when tools or for example headers need service only then the speed will go down. I dont know why but i always service everything when i see it but it is not necessary really

@@FS_OldTractorMods well, i know it was not true and I dont think it was changed with that update. Havent tried it out tbh but the first version it was not true. A Few CZcamsrs did test it. Maybe Giants wanted to do it like that and maybe the next update will change it

You can open the middle gate for the cows by clicking the hinged side from inside the shed

I find opening that middle gate very difficult once it took me five mins
13:15 Look at that crazy spaz bird.
Repair that header, they drop speed after 40% “damage” will really slow you down if you don’t keep repairing them. I usually repair half way threw F18.
Field 20 has a pond in the middle of it, you could take water from there
You could put grass into field 15 and plough up field 19 as part of a crop rotation programme
The big bag attachment with the pallet attachment used with it will allow you to bypass the annoying shredder. I know that is not really realistic but I like to think that a worker is out there with a pitch fork. lol
The middle gate trigger is about the edge of the animal trigger at the front of the shed

I believe on FS15 you could use the mixer to shred straw for the cows. Not sure if it changed.
Daggerwin.....the middle gate you are having a problem opening CAN be opened by aiming at the ground just outside ( or inside) the gate. I have done this in your MP server
if you want to do pigs there is a silo mod that turn sugarbeet and potatoes in to pig food so can make alot of profit off pigs now
Hey there Dagger, thanks for your video. I’ve noticed quite a big decrease of image quality. Think you chose a higher compression in the export than normal because ob your data allowance. But really lower contrast textures like grass are really painful to watch. Think it’s better to choose a lower resolution, like 720p is still really good, but a better, higher quality compression.
In case zu wonder, I’ve checked my connection with several devices, so it’s not my end...
Despite that, I have to say that I’m a huge fan, loving your fs series and watching every episode since I found your channel!
Sterhaer try using the three vertical dots to change the video res. I can get 1080p each time and it’s crystal. Sometimes CZcams resets it back to 480p which can be frustrating sometimes.

Raelik 69 sorry, I’m familiar with CZcams. I have selected 1080p. The edges with contrast are sharp. But less contrast textures as grass are all blurry. And that’s because of compression during the export of the video.
The episodes are becoming extremely short as everything is left for the stream. Poor people like me who have to go to work in the morning have no time to watch over an hour of streaming, also the pace of the stream is much slower than what we are used to from the normal episodes (cuts and timelapse). Appreciate your work, thanks for the great content.

Middle gate can be very awkward sometimes u gotta open the left and right then the middle one
Oxy said on Facebook he might split the main farm into 4 separate areas so you can sell fields and not lose the whole thing, but if he is going to that hasn't made it into your prerelease version by the look of it.
You could put field 15 in grass and plough the field you did the silage bales in to mix it up
to open the middle gate, you gave to stand a little behind the gate (inside), works for me

One of those butterflies knocked my combine sideways off the bridge the other day. Apparently they have collisions on them, which is due to be fixed as they've been causing all manner of grief. ;)

And plant soy beans un biggest field next. That's more profitable. But in small field maize silage. For BGA. And you will get digistate to fertilize fields. Don't forget to give cows grass and silage for 100% productivity.
You only have to give them TMR for 100% production. . you can leave the other 2 empty..

Yes.. even if you feed them grass and silage it won't be consumed until TMR is empty..
Love the map but that's the one downside of Marwell Manor isn't it? Because the fields are so large, every job you do becomes huge! Especially in the beginning before you've had a chance to buy some of the smaller fields. Not exactly ideal for a video series where you preferrably want some variation to keep people from getting bored. Though i am extremely grateful that they start you off with some decent size equipment instead of just going with the standard stuff that you get on the default maps... Imagine having to do Field 18 with the standard seed drill/cultivator/harvester... *Shudders*

Dagger the trigger for the central gate is in the corner of the front of the yellow tigger on the front of the barn
I don't understand why when you are driving along side the harvester to unload it you don't set your cruise control at same speed as harvester. This makes it much easier for you rather than trying to maintain speed yourself
Hi Dagger, I mentioned the darkness of the map before but didn't explain in detail: As the sun sets for the day, on my computer (a high-end Lenovo laptop set to max illumination) the fields become so dark as to make it impossible to see ANYTHING but the lights of the trucks, harvesters, and tractors. Plus, when a worker is used on a harvester or tractor, no lights come on at all. Worse yet, the 'decorative' yard lights won't come on until after 11:00 PM (23:00). So, there's about 3 hours of black darkness with no worker lights or yard lights. Then, after 11:00 it's like the moon comes out and things get light enough to work again. Strange? I have no idea if it's the map or the game or what. I've had no problems like it in FS 17 or FS 15. I don't think it would take much to fix this lighting problem but figuring out what is causing it might take some time. Does this annoy you at all? Or do you experience it in your play? And yes I agree it gets very dark on farms sometimes . . . but not pitch black like this. PS I think you should be able to sell ANY field you own, makes the game more flexible.
The map's built in night time, which dictates when automatic lights come on, is controlled by the file mapUS_environment.xml, specifically the values nightStart and nightEnd. Oxy has said he's going to adjust these in the next version, theoretically the version Dagger's playing, but I've hacked my own so the lights come on at 7 in the evening. This doesn't help with the ambient light level, but it does mean automatic lights in placeables and on workers come on when it gets dark.

@@stevenpdxedu There're a lot more figures in there which I imagine control the light level at night and so forth, but I don't feel confident enough to tackle those, plus it really does get that dark in rural areas where there's not much city glow so I can live with it.
@@SteveJ0966, I did those suggestions and they worked very well.
I usually make a back-up file and save under a BK name, then edit what ever numbers I want in the 'new' file. Then, if things get wonkey I can go back.
The night looks darker on my machine just because the laptop screen is weird. Doesn't have good contrast during low light. It is a Lenovo but does everything else pretty well.

A worker was farming a field for me field (15) and while I was cutting the grass the worker gets the header stuck in a bush and I can’t get the header out of the bush there’s like an invisible wall preventing the header from getting out. Can someone please help me
Only feeding tmr is enough for the cows, it'll get them to 100% productivity
Hi about you not being abel to open the center gate what I've noticed when I play is if you park a vehicle to close it won't open but move the vehicle away and it will open
For the fence gate, I stood about halfway through the marker on the ground and I was able to open the gate. Just trying to make your life better.

It hasn't been released yet, so if the version you got wasn't direct from Oxy I'd treat it with extreme caution. If it was, you should ask him about any issues you're having.
You have to add the 2 files to the map zip.. it only fixes the milk and eggs sale points..

You can always sell a plot of land if that plot belongs to you
Yes but in this case if you sell the plot of land your whole entire farm, fields, everything goes with it
Oxy's thinking about splitting them up into separate plots, but hasn't yet done it in Dagger's pre-release copy evidently.
Steve Jeffery yeah it would be a great idea, but I just planted grass dividers to make the fields smaller and plant different things in them so it’s not so bad
