Daggerwin! The Fendt can have narrow tracks!
Why don't you put the 3m tracks on the bigger tractor and spray with that? The 3m tracks are basically the narrow tires for wheeled tractors.
You should get rid of the culturvater because you've got a direct drill so no need to have it

I ended up selling the cultivator and buying a same size disk harrow for cheaper.
Why don’t you put the narrow 3m tracks on the fendt?
I though the 3m tracks are broken and causing crop destruction.

Amazing vid dagger. Have the map started but thinking about restarting it you have given me food for thought.
I know it's up to you weather you lease or buy I real life we tried it on our farm and it was not worth it you calculate the rental cost Manti ance and all the rest and when you return it all that money you spent is fine at least when it's your it more worth while but that's just my opinion do as you please it's your farm

Valtra is a brand I've always liked on FS. They just feel like they drive more stable than much of the others. Not as prone to flipping over when you take a turn too fast.
@Daggerwin. I sold the Fendt 1149 and bought the Fendt 1050..
I also split that field, planting wheat and oats.
Now grass cutting field 19.
Use your marker arms on the drill for headlands, makes it so much easier, cracking videos maaayte.
@ Daggerwin A "Standard" IBC is indeed 1000 Liters, however those are also half the height. these are indeed the 2000 Liter ones ;) i worked with both

On Field 19 i got 141 bales from it. If you were to wrap it them and sell the silage you would get around $200,000
Daggerwin, i have seen from some youtubers that gps mode is out.. You can get that for your big fiedls.. Also you can lease a front mower, a widrower and when you bale thr grass wrap them for more money.. You can also do some contracting while you sre waiting for your crops to grow.
The 6r can pull the baler and the seeder, sell the fendt and the cultivator and that fixes your cash flow problem
I tried that "multi coloured/corrected dirt" mod, however I read in forum's that that is what stops the BigBag mod from working on this map?
Daggerwin, a suggestion: Make a list of the grains that your animals will need and grow, harvest, and store those crops BEFORE buying the animals. I know this is a revolutionary idea, but just think, you could completely skip the crazy dash trying to keep the Cows, Pigs, Sheep, or etc. from starving to death.
I am just suggesting this, personally I think you normally make very dramatic videos after buying animals who don't have anything to eat. ;)
A tractor that would fit in to your fleet would be one of the case ih 7200 pro series. The 7210 is inexpensive and can be had with narrow tires. I used it on the first time I played and it works great.

I sold the fendt and bought a T6 Series new Holland and kept the John Deere that way I have a high power tractor to pull the heavy equipment cause upgrades it to 300bhp and use the new Holland to do the spraying and fertilising
When we where farming we had 3 trackers two where big and one small that be what I would do if I played this game vary good video skipper

I have a modded case magnum 7xxx pro that I use, I'm not sure if it got narrowness tires, i always use the 1050 mitas tires. But it has a couple of high hp engine options, I just refer to it as cvx380 engine, 435hp, and its really cheap🤠. And BTW, as long as you put on fert on the first growth stage there is no crop destruction..
I’m not sure if you know this but the fendt and the challenger are the same tractor with different paint. The challenger is built more for America and the fendt for Europe. Keep up the great work! I love your videos

How do you get the soil texture direction to follow the direction of the drill?
U should start use the new guidance steering, in that case we can learn from you. I know how much you miss the old GPS, so get going with the new one.
You could've fitted the 3 meter wide tracks to Fendt for spraying the field, at least until you don't have the money to buy something else. And you could avoid going back and forth the store for seeds and fertilizer, as there are refill points in the yard
Where are they? I found the fuel, water and lime but not seed of fertilizer? Is it the little shed next to the house and opposite the lean to for seed and the chemical shed near the cows for fertiliser because I couldn't get them working.
The Fendt Would be very low ground pressure so damage to the crop would be negligible, although it's a big tractor it is very versatile ....
Since you're a fan of jcb, the 4220 can have narrow tires and a loader and still have enough power to do a lot of jobs

i started a new map on fs17 8 months ago. sold all my starter equipment cause screw the 3meter stuff. rented tractors equipment that i needed bought some of the cheaper equipment and ran with it. worked great. the only thing i would do different is buy the things that i get the most hours on first ie main tractor. if its something you are using a lot of then buy it when you can. Drill, etc its better to rent because ur not putting a lot of hours on them per season. even combines.. i mean u use it just for 1 thing then park it. again a lot of money for little use so much better to lease till endgame i learned. rent equipment buy land. at least double the land u start with before buyin some things. makes life so much easier and as u like to do, swap vehicles a lot and equipment. renting is just the way to go. from what i can tell 19 is the same way. and again u looose so much money buying selling equipment like you do. be so much cheaper to just rent unless ur going to put 40-50+ hours on something. that seems to be the breaking point.

I would sell the Fendt and boost the 6r to a 250, much more money and plenty of hp for the drill. Buy another similar tractor and a smaller one. JD 7810 mod is out :)
Hey Daggerwin, the modded Challenger MT700E on ModHub is a really good tractor. Much cheaper than the base MT700 and actually has a little edge in horsepower.
It will cost 33,704 dollars per day for that tractor don’t keep it for long

Get the ibcs from the big bag mod because the are better value for money
I've found they don't play nicely with the Horsch seeder or sower. May be just using it wrong.

@daggerwin IRL you take 8 laps off your headland including your back cut then go up and down your grass paddock so you have room to turn around with your 2 or 4 roter rake and baler
Get rid of the sprayer and get a spreader and that'll allow you to put lime down too

I think the Case Puma series supports narrow tires
An idea with the 2 large fields. Why not divide them and make 2 or 3 fields out of them. That way, the time to take to harvest or whatever will reduce, and u can also have multi crop in each of those 2 large fields.

I need to check to be certain, but isn't solid fertlizer considerably cheaper than liquid to use? I know the sprayer came with the farm, but still
He could sell the sprayer and probably get the money to not only buy the solid fert spreader but probably have money left to put some fert in it as well lol

He will still need the sprayer for weeds, unless he leases that but since it can take a long time to get the big fields sprayed it might not be cost effective in the long run

daggerwin you could have harvest of the canola chamge the field with the poles in it to a grass field and field 19 into a crop field
Not a bad idea. The helpers on the pole field leave a lot undone.
You can put 3M tracks (narrow tracks) on the Fendt
You should get rid of the 6 r and get the 6 m so you can put the narrow tyres on that
You have stored crop in your silo. You could sell that and probably afford to buy the Valtra instead of leasing it.

If you used the modded ibcs for liquid fert and herbicide, its cheaper.
You'll need to buy many machines before getting cows in order to care for them or not take care of them as usual.

Fiat is a great spraying tractor cause high horsepower and low cost. Downside is speed, which doesnt matter when spraying

Buying or leasing low hp tractor is not economical or smart. Better loan and buy another one tractor and pay off it from each harvest. After u pay off loan. Tractor stays after u paid off loan. But at this point u are paying for lease maintance. And in end. Tractor is gone as so is money. Lease only things u use rare. Because then u dont have to pay maintance

Buy the IBC you get with the crane mod. It’s 3000L instead of 2000L and it works out cheaper!
It’s more realistic if you mow the outside edge of the field last in case you hit any stones, fences or trees. Just for more realsim
You should really cut the very outside of the grass field last to be more realistic. This is because if there are any stones they will be on the outside they will break the mower. You do it so you have completed the rest of the field before this can happen
