- In this video I'll be testing 10 popular bottled drinking water brands. Crystal Geyser, Essentia, Nestle Pure Life, Dasani, Evian, Fiji, Zephyrhills, Walmart Great Value, Aquafina, and Smart Glaceau. Some are purified water (RO) and others are spring water. We'll see how they compare. I'll be performing 17 tests! TDS, PH, Alkalinity, Sulfates, lead, hardness, fluoride, sodium chloride, nitrates, and other minerals/chemicals. Interpretation of the results shown in this video may vary. Enjoy the video!

Absolutely terrific review! By the way, your tap water is better than mine!
Glad you think so! As always, thanks for watching!
I'm a huge fan of both of your channels.
Thanks guys
Florida has the cleanest tap water
So in English which one is the better one to drink? Got a bit confused..
@@electronicsNmore Hello ENM! Can you do a future video on testing Arsenic in water? I seen a video on the news a couples years back on Arsenic in spring water.
Wow I have been really wondering about this question! Thank you! This reminds me of Project Farm's excellent channel...
I as a contractor & worked @ 45% of the products that you are testing. Most of them came in off the street water main. Then to a ozone purification device then to the still hot fabulous plastic bottle.
Great Review.Thank you Electric 🚹
thank you, this was extremely clear and helpful
You're welcome! Please share the video link with others. Thank you
if you like dasani i cant trust you
😅😂
Wow, good testing. I expected difference between "spring" and "purified" but to see it, and the differences within classes, very informative and thought provoking. thanks!
Purified water isn't really good for you. True spring water has a ton of minerals in in. That's what makes it taste good.
Purified is another word for highly provessed to improve the taste for a bunch of idiots who have bad taste
@@tarstarkuszspring water doesn’t taste good, it tastes like the most dehydrating and revolting liquid in the world
@@AsianPhuc There is something wrong with you.

Years ago I had drank Volvic ? water from France , the best bottled water I had ever tasted .
Thanks for the video 🙌🏾
You're welcome! Thanks for watching. Be sure to share.
I’ll drink just about any water. Given a choice, I’ll go for Fiji, Smart, Voss, or even some of the cheaper spring waters. But, Dasani water tastes like garbage sewer water and I refuse to drink it...
It does!!! It tastes HORRIBLE! I thought I was the only one who thought that. Aquafina is second on the shit list for me as well
@@onthegrind5977 They’re equally bad. Aquafina is just PepsiCo’s equivalent garbage sewer water to Coca Cola’s Dasani garbage sewer water. Lol
You shouldn’t drink Smart, Voss, or Dasani water. Extremely bad for you.
Hi, Fuji was tested for flouide it was the highest in the test group 0.35 ppm, and for reference Dasani 0.16 ppm and Smart at 0.0. Fluoride is more dangerous then most realize. Sad thing is many of these spring waters advertise as pure water and some of these are the worse tested
Funny that Dasani and Voss are on the same level. Spending extra money for poison
You can never go wrong with Crystal Geyser
Are you serious i avoid Crystal Geyser crack water. It doesn’t even look right off yellow I’m color
Great video!
Excellent job,in which part of the world you are testing this tap water?😊
Very interesting test!
Thanks for watching Paul!
great information!!
Glad it was helpful! Please share. Thanks
well, well, well, (pun intended) here we are yet again. every time i decide to look into some sort of diy project you already have a video up about the topic. you are always just 100 steps in front of me lol😃
Hi, if you were to choose (one) spring water for overall highest quality, which one do you recommend?
Also
I use an under the counter water filter, do you recommend one?
GREAT TEST👍
Glad you liked the video! Be sure to check out my latest video on testing popular brands of spring water
Is it true about Evian and it being contaminated with chlorothalonil?? I really like the taste and the smoothness of evian water so far its my favorite but i dont like paying this much just to harm my health.I would really appreciate your answer if Evian is worth drinking. Thanks so much in advance.
Great Video. If you have access to Kirkland/COSTCO, reverse osmosis, and berkey water filter water it would be interesting to see how they compare.
Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for the suggestion.
@@electronicsNmore great video! and yes please to comparing the filtered water options!
Stay away!
Excellent video eNm! Now I am wondering how the H2O from the filtered water dispenser on my refrigerator would have tested compared to the well tap water from the sink? 🤔🤔
Thanks! Buy some test strips and the mystery can be solved. :-)
What amount of flouride do you consider negligible?
Icelandic tastes almost as good as Fiji, also there is a brand of purified water called Core that's good.
I'd like to know how much arsenic they have, since crystal geyser was found to have too high of arsenic in it.
The tap water where I live could probably double as a insecticide LOL
I would like it to be possible to conclude which water is better, giving it a final rating to understand objectively and relative which is better and include the cost benefit. Good video !!!
Looks like it was Evian, just based on what I saw in the video... I could be wrong though.
I agree! Still not sure which is best at the end.
Yes he wasn’t very clean about it
Thanks!
Today I learned that Aquafina is the closet brand bottle to distilled water. Explains the taste!
Aquafina has a weird funky after taste. Same with Dasani to me. Gross. Fiji is one of the best tasting for me personally. There's also Waiakea Hawaiin water that's incredible but super expensive.
@@wombat5252 Aquafina war tase good compared to Walmart waters.
nice video, thanks

In the upper peninsula of MI where we snowmobile a neighbor has a natural spring coming right out of the ground we fill bottles from.
Don't care about TDS cuz whatever's in it tastes amazing
My guess as to what's in the water is whatever y'all are drinkin at the various watering holes as you ride around....
IPA's , Lagers, Pilsner , Stouts, Kolsch.....etc....Yoo Pee :)
Would be interestiing to test it.
Thanks for the comparison. I have one for you that you would be good at. I bought a assortment of auto fuses at harbor freight and i was wondering how accurate they are as far as if they blow at the amps they say. Thanks for the great videos
Great suggestion!
@@electronicsNmore Maybe also you could test oem fuses from different makes of cars if you have a good junkyard nearby
I saw a video the other day of someone testing no name fuses. I bought an assortment kit made by Bussman because of it. Won't take any chances..
It would be nice to know more about the fluoride levels. Thanks.
Right
That's what I'm allergic to. 3 to 6 weeks with a strep throat like side effects. My doctor said not to drink water unless you are comfortable with what's inside. He kept me in the hospital and he paid for it because he was curious. I drank Fiji and had a swollen throat within an hour and he said there's no way. Came down to 100% coconut water from an actual coconut is the only water I can safely consume. If I have to do anything with water he will give me a doctor's note or a lawyer which ever is needed. He's from Nigeria and thinks I have superpowers and I haven't figured out my powers. People think I'm lying when I say I'm allergic to water and give me stupid looks but I offer to call my Dr and they always say no. Idc he wants that phone call.
So, Fiji water has fluoride too?
@@silversea217 no dudes making shit up

Wow you’re the first person from florida that doesn’t like the taste of zephyrhills haha. I like it because of how tasteless it is compared to dasani or aquafina, and it also feels very refreshing. However evian is my favorite.
I'll drink it, but I'm not a big fan of the taste.
Doesn’t wiping the cup out with a paper add contaminants?
Thank you.
I have my own 5 stage reverse osmosis filter system...and it goes into a stainless steel container.
Would've loved to see the Kirkland brand water
If this video does well, I may do another.
Hey Cris, Kirkland is Niagara, for this video it’s Greatvalue Walmart brand.
What about Poland spring?
That’s the only water bottle worth buying, as it’s not processed it’s cheap and it doesn’t contain them fetuses from the babies! 🤦🤮
@@thecoleshow As long as your water is filtered from the earth not “purified” another word for processed then you’re on the right path
I was always told that drinking distilled water consistently is bad for your health
The thing people find objectionable in taste is the chlorine and it is very easy to get rid of. Get a very wide pan and put in just an inch or two (to increase the surface area to volume) and just set it on the stove and forget about for a day. The next day, put it in a bottle. All the chlorine will be gone. Chlorine evaporates MUCH quicker than water. All of the chlorine evaporates out very quickly.
At a temperature or...
No temperature needed. Just leave it in open bottle, and you see much lower smell and taste of chlorine next morning
@@dmitripogosian5084 I said put it on the stove, not with the stove turned on. An inch or 2 of water would evaporate within an hour if you had the burners on.
@@tarstarkusz It was not me who asked about temperature :)

Next test for chemicals in the water!
What about Aluminum testing? How is that done?
What should I drink Evian or aqua carpatica
some brand nano silver liquid also can use to test water, not pure water will turn milky after add in concentrated nano silver liquid ( water machine brand amway coway tested not pure )
Where do you live? Your tap water is phenomenal. My water in AZ is 500-700 ppm. Even had 1200 once
I could easily be convinced that Billy crystal was analyzing these results based on audio. 🤔🤷♀️
Why isn’t Poland Spring included in the test ?
is there a way to test tap water for those pills people like to take. like anti depression. or those happy pills. em vicadon and xanax type of thing?
You'd have to send it to a lab for testing, but yes, it's possible.
So I can't tell from your review if one of those is much different than the other. I recently bought a Zerowater filter that removes most if not all tds. I can drink tapwater again after it's filtered this way.
Does that filter out the birth control hormones that is in the tap water?
I’ve been using zero water filter for years. Short of using reverse osmosis or distilled, it’s definitely effective and easy to use. And quite affordable. Way less costly than bottled water.
Did you check the orp in the waters??
Thanks for this educational video! Not all bottled waters are bottled in same plant location. So if you are testing same brand water bottled from different location, your test results may vary. I would do my own testing with available bottled waters I would like from different bottled location and make a comparison. Also, I am inclined that, from time to time these results will change as nothing is constant. I blame nature for not providing same water for ages constantly. :-)... unless humans are tampering with it.
Humans are
So what water is pure of no chemicals and won’t keep making you thirsty that is good for your body
Personally, my mouth and body really enjoy Evian. You can just taste the smoothness and how easy it is to drink it. I believe it does give my skin a better appearance.
I would say Zephyrhills is definitely the best bang for your buck if you wanna consider costs. I also love it.
I agree there's just something about it that my body agrees with. Taste great and is smooth. I'll grab a bunch on sale when I can
Same here. Kind of odd how tbey seem to be ok in the ph range but the taste is great and I feel very hydrated after drinking it
It's the dissolved minerals that make it smooth. The human body craves minerals like sodium from natural springs as it replenishes electrolytes better than any purified water could.
This is so true
Evian is high in minerals because it comes from the mountain and is high in good minerals. High content of minerals is not bad in a water unless they are toxic. in Chianciano terme they can heal your fatty liver in just 12 days with just water and that water has 2,600 PPM
my kidneys were fine before and after and I can attest that it got rid of the very bad fatty liver of my husband
If you boil evian, it leaves behind too much white particles that makes drinking it very uncomfortable
My favorite bottle water is deere park spring water
Please, we need to see you test all of these for graphine oxide…! If you would kindly do some videos on that… It would be extremely welcomed ….👍🏽
I encourage this as well. I want to know how much Graphene oxide is in our water, and how to filter that out.
Distilled water is the best.
@@oanalesnic79 Distilled water is actually pretty bad for you as you will actually have to add minerals back into the distilled water as your body can't really utilize distilled or Revere Osmosis water effectively.
@@kingzach74 I get my minerals from my celtic salt and my foods and my shilijit. So Distilled is a good option, beter than the tap water.
You're the only channel that has found most of those rate that high.
My testing is only as good as the test strips. I looked for a good/reliable test strip. Thanks for watching!
My favorite is Deer Park. It came in at 008 ppm.
I think the best water is the water distiled and the water without Fluor
words cannot describe my love for crystal geyser water dear god
i do not care about the 116 ppm. what is water without mild flavor if not disappointing
@snartboy5000 America is shockingbas far as water quality. In Africa we drank natural rain or spring water. The freshest water you can ever have. Modernization has its own challenges, I suppose.
Maybe you can test Freedoms Choice water one day soon.
You may find it hard to believe but it's true and been proven test strips won't work on essentia as it is too high of a ph for them. Use liquid test which is way more accurate anyway and you will see essentia is over 9.5 ph.
our seattle tap water tests at 26-32
you should have tested the rain water anyways because just like tap water, it's still a good measurement as long as you note the location.
i think your meter is much stronger than mine though because costco kirkland water it tests at 0 everytime
Isn’t the Costco order either reverse osmosis or distilled? That would be why parts per million are so low. His meter looks like the same cheap meter that came with my zero water filter system. It’s cheap, but seems to work well.
@@lanceevans1689 zero water gave me a blue meter for free. it always tests 0 on bottled water.
It is true about Essentia not being used with the strips. The drops to test it do in fact show that it is about 9.5 ph level. It is a purple color.
Exactly. He should redo essentia without test strips and use the right stuff. I have tested it myself and it is over 9.5! I tested 6 different bottles over a 2 month span and every bottle was over 9.5 ph.
Essentia!
@@ShagwellsbackBut if you blow into the water creating acid it's gonna turn yellow. So it's false
You left out my favorite… Mountain Valley.
You got the like when you pulled out the same meter as me
Try checking the water in relation to the Bovis Scale and see what you'll get. I'll BET they will all below 2000. The Bovis Scale starts to be beneficial for the body at 5000. Less than 5000 is harmfull to the body. The higher the number, the more beneficial.
You mean the bullshit scale?
I’ve been drinking Nestle water for years and just found out it has a lot of plastic particles in it 😮
Thanks for the info. I guess I will invest in Fiji Water from now on.
@@joelkaben Fiji is not plastic?
it tastes like crap too
Any observations with your health ?
Every bottled water in plastic bottles has microplastics in it. Every food in plastic as well.
Plastic is our generations asbestos and lead.
Perfect review. I’m looking for the safest water for my cats. 😝
My cats love Aquafina
My cats love it when I put a few ice cubes in their water dish. They like cold water as much as I do.
Anyone know what's been going on with Fredmeyers bottled water lately? Its been having a funky taste to it lately. Best way to describe it is taste like old river water and not the fresh kind either.
Surprised Deer Park water didn’t make the list. I’m always confused what water is “healthy” as most people say bottled water has micro plastics.
Deer park is better than the rest

Yes Robin. Some are RO purified water.
Evian is the best water Ive ever had
I didn't see you explain the fluoride levels. That's what I was interested to know
Same. Fluoride is really bad for you.
Fluoride testers are super expensive
It showed very low levels of flouride even on the tap water. Havent you watched the video
What about floride in the bottled?
So I saw another video and when acid was added to essentia, its neutral level dropped to a 5.
Can we get a order of best to worst for these?
When I tried zephyrhills it literally tasted like what I would imagine toilet water tastes like
You’re thinking of Dasani. Zephyrhills is amazing
how about boiling and allowing it to sit in the sun.
So, which one should I drink?
So my budget options are between nestle & ozarka which one you recommend?
Ozarka spring water next best thing to alkaline
The only thing missing is the estrogen-like chemical tests
im stupid, which one is overall the best choice?
I KNEW IT!
one time as a kid i remember i did a water survey in elementary school(what a nerd)
I was like which one do you like. And almost everyone hated the taste of Dasani. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE! And thats coming from elementary school kids from 2000
Poland Springs is pretty good here in New England.
Poland springs is definitely worth it and it's usually on sale. Good price. My favorite though is Fiji but for the price, Poland is great.
He sound like the “report of the week” fellow on tik tok. He’s cool
So what water do we drink
Dig a well or catch rainwater and build a charcoal filter
What about atrazine please ?
It's a shame there was no Ballygowan test but I don't think you can get it outside of the country I live in
Never heard of it.
Very informative video. I pretty much buy cheap bottled water like the Walmart brand. I have lived in my home state of Delaware for over 60 years and would never drink the water from the tap here. To be sure, water that comes from wells in this state is awful. I don't find the treated water to be much better. So, I buy bottled to make coffee and use it for food preparation.
Dasani: yeah I’m just finna head my self out
ok now what about microplastics? Lol
