Genius. It manages to lightheartedly make fun of both ‘weird’ and ‘normal’ people. Makes you think who is really being themselves and who is being pretentious. It also makes you think why some people go out of their way to be perceived as ‘quirky’ and why they might be like that. The bit at the end where they all head to the beach with their helmets, and yet say “Last one in the water is rotten.” , like any other ‘normal’ family, but in their own way, great touch.

I love this skit cause it’s uniquely positive. So many SNL skits are more less picking on somebody. It lovingly points out how uptight most of us are without scorn. Ghenius!
