Oh man. That period from like 2000-2007 where you had to be thin but not skinny, have abs but not be muscular and have curves but not actually be curvy. Great times.
🤣 🤣 🤣
This comment 😂
Soooo true!
Yep no wonder I have eating disorders. What a great time it was to be a teen 😒
On point. I’m 30 and those days sucked.
I really like how the ' fat girl ' who eats junk food all the time is actually like normally slim and is probably the healthiest looking one..🤣
Not only that did you see the muscles in her legs?! Definitely the healthiest looking one and has the best body out of all of them!
Her butt is all muscle, idk what they’re talking about calling her fat 🤷♀️
She was bad, they were haters!
Lol well those times are back my friend
@@BigRed1595044There was a time (sadly) that if you had ANY ass, even if it was solid muscle, people would still call you fat for it. Because apparently having anything bigger than a pancake for cheeks could only be made of fat.
I’m about to admit something deeply shameful, ya’ll. like, it’s a burden I’ve carried for so long… but now the time has come to set myself free.
When I first watched this as a 17-year old, who had never before seen or heard of crumping, those “heartbeat-moves” gave me life. Literal drooling. I, too, wanted a tall dude to press his chest against my upper body, say nothing, and pop those pecs to almost knock me over. 😭
Not alone 😆
I also tried to Crump, but decided it was too physical for me and I don't think I pulled it off well... 😅
@@Imsexysryurnot I tried to teach myself Krumping and gave myself whiplash
Yeah i also like this movie, i don't care how much people hate it
I literally cackled, so relatable. I did not like this movie but was into the crumping for sure lol
Gowrl same 😂
“She put the emphAAsis on the wrong syllAAble” killed me
I was screaming 😂😂😂😂😂
One of the best quotes of the century
I have watched this video about 10 times and laugh at that too. I told my husband about it. Now, in church we notice our pastor does this. We both look at each other and say this phrase.
I laughed afterwards for a good 5 minutes straight 😂
The Jennifer Coolidge voice will never get old. It cracks me up everytime.
It's so spot on, I love it!
Same!!!!!! I try and do it in my daily life.....and fail miserably 😂😂
My heart smiles every time it appears.
I’m with you I loooove it ❤️❤️😂
For real, that shit catches me off guard and i instantly start ugly laughing 😂
I just love that they make it seem like Britney was the only white girl they’ve ever seen, but then Britney proceeds to sit at a lunch table full of white girls 😂
Right? I think there were two other mostly White girl tables. I love the lack of continuity lol.
Thank you!
I always thought it had more to do with class instead of race. Like she is very clearly spoon fed
I died at "diversity week" BITCH WHERE 🤣😂
Lmao I thought the same thing.
Brianna isn’t even fat in the slightest. She just has more muscular thighs, and she looks absolutely kill to say the least! Just shows how at this time peoples idea of “fat” was insane.
Which is weird because I assumed muscular legs were kind of a requirement for competitive cheerleading
Well she is a cheerleader, and Hollywood likes hiring as many attractive people as possible.
dudes have always found briana's physiqe attractive. this is girls talking smack out of jellusy.
They never have coaches. Why? You couldn’t have sewing circle without an advisor. No way they are allowing literal children to be thrown in the air without at least one adult around.
That's a good point.
I love how movie/ tv shows have cheerleaders do the most dangerous stunts with no adult coach in sight. Having full acrobat techniques and moves with only slightly older children around chaperoning.
You have obviously never been to a small town high school 😂
@@hollydaugherty2620 That would be accurate. But neither are they.
It's a teen 2000 movie universe, teachers and parents didn't exist in them. 🤣
Their entire budget went to Rihanna's cameo, and clearly not into rehearsing scenes before the movie was filmed LOL
Rihanna was famous but not that famous back then, jayz probably had the money split between her and solange.
Rihanna was just a rising star with a few hits back then!
She was on her second album back then so wasn't a household name. Not until Good Girl Gone Bad that came out the following year
If I'm ever in a coma, please play this movie in my hospital room. I will wake up and turn it off. It's so atrocious, it's miraculous.
LOL
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😁
Genius 😆
😆👍👍
That's actually sort of happened before- this guy was pronounced as braindead, but he was actually aware of everything around him, he just couldn't move. In his room, Barney played every day on the TV, and he grew to hate it so much, he managed to finally bring himself to move again, just to ask them to turn off Barney.
I probably didn't tell it well, since it's been awhile since I heard it lol, but that's about the gist of it.
Ok but the fact that they show up with a massive bunch of flowers after realising a team mate is upset about their dog? Like real friends right there
Do house bunny please! I think it would be a good one. When she like growls people's names to remember them is HILARIOUS.
“Oliiivvvvvver” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Na-Ta-LiE!! 👹👹👹
Me and my sister do that growly voice all the time bc if that movie lol
I love that movie
Definite guilty pleasure, Pooter! she really needs to do House Bunny!! lol
the fact that Camille thought it was incredibly weird for Britney to hold a funeral for her dog but she still showed up to her house with flowers>>>
The funeral for pom pom's kinda over shadowed any other funeral weirdness in the movie
She thought it was weird that they were so dressed up but then of course she finds out they were dressed for a big dance that Brittany ditched the game for. Camille said it was okay for her to not show up for the game to mourn her non existent dog LOL.
Honestly she was a bitch, but at least she was a real friend. 😂

A 3rd grade student was reading to me today and was supposed to say, “Some people like camping.” Instead, she accidentally said, “Some people like crumping.” Thanks to you, I almost died laughing. It took everything I had to contain my laughter!
Every time I watch this movie I always got secondhand embarrassment when Hayden dose that krumping scene

But did you hit up your local krump stop?
The whole thing about Briana supposedly being fat is really fucked up and fucked me up when I was a kid. That girls body isn't even average!?!? It's slender!?!?!

Deep fried twinkies does something to the cream. It's not unpleasant and the outside is the same very tasty as funnel cake. I had encountered a truck at a Motorcycle Rally selling deep- fried twinkies and felt it was my sacred duty as a fat-a** to eat one at least once in my life. I do not regret it one bit.
@@theresas740 Thank you for your review. I love funnel cake and always wondered if deep fried twinkies were funnel cake outside and warm cream inside. Twinkies are worthless to me in their original form.

I'm an extra in X-Men: Dark Phoenix as a tween going to the mutant school. I was 29. Surrounded by 17-19 y.o.
It was super awkward.
Idk why this made me laugh so hard 😂
Me and some friends of mine were extras in an italian teen show for Netflix, and we're all between 27 and 29 years old - basically ten years older than all the other thirty extras. The director assistant tried to hide us as much as he could

One of my favorite examples of this is the high school mean girl in Paramore's Misery Business video being an obvious middle aged woman.

i actually had no idea this was a sequel, much less a threequel.
This was the first and only one I saw lol
we love a cultured queen who remembers solange for something other than bring it on ♥️
Solange is the wave. She has great music. Her music is often better (better written and more introspective) than her sister’s, though I do love me some Beyoncé.
Well first of all you will h8 Solange if you remember her for this movie.
if that's "cultured" to you than you have deeper issues.
Here’s some I would like to see:
Mean girls
John tucker must die
A Cinderella story
Confessions of a teenage drama Queen
Yes yes yes!!
Omg john tucker must die is so weird
I watched it so many times tho hahah
I was thinking about Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen too!
Mean girls is perfection!
YESSSS JAIME PLEASE
Wow growing up in this time period was so hard. Seeing how thin Jessica Simpson was when the media started calling her fat (size FOUR) now seeing the “fat cheerleader” is actually the picture of perfection. I want to go back and give my teenage self a hug.
I think this hit me hard as a child. Seriously. As a 25 year old I am a size 6-8 and I still feel HUGE. Even still with all this self love in our society, I hate my curves. I hate how big my hips are.
Remember that terrible terrible movie, Shallow Hal?!? Gweneth Paltrow and Jack Black. Awful.
I remember when The Simple Life was first airing (so 2004 to 2007 or so), the media often referred to Nicole Richie as "the fat friend" in contrast to Paris Hilton. Nicole was tiny and not even remotely heavy or "thick" but the "ideal" body image during that time was tall and rail thin like Paris. I don't doubt this is what led Nicole Richie to becoming very thin (and then the media harped on her for that, saying she was setting a bad precedent for girls and young women; she could never win, I always felt bad for her).
This is why I think the whole "ideal body image" thing is dumb, it changes all the time. For guys, when I was growing up (late 90's to mid 2000's), tall and lanky was the thing. Then it was the Abercrombie/swimmer's body that was big (2008 to 2013 or so), then it was the whole "dad bod" thing. Even though I love and work in media, it can be so toxic sometimes. Everyone's body is different.
Poor Jessica was PERFECT and she got body shamed so bad. Bless her heart, she used to use bronzer to draw on abs. Poor thing!
Yep, I grew up in this era too and when I was 5’7” and weighed 110lbs I called myself fat all the time, thought I had thick thighs and cellulite when I didn’t really, I was so self conscious I didn’t wear shorts when I was in High School or college. 🤦🏻♀️
Wish I had just enjoyed having that body but in the early 2000’s all forms of media told us that girls couldn’t be too skinny. I’m glad that being “thick” is celebrated now cuz my thighs are definitely thick af and I def don’t weigh 110lbs anymore but I feel like I look better now than I felt I looked when I was in my late teens/early 20’s. Self-image is a weird thing. 😩
Hayden Panettwhatever was like the beauty standard poster girl of the 2000s who mysteriously vanished into thin air after the decade was over.
And every Hispanic girl was named Lety.
she didn't disappear. She mostly stopped doing teen movies.
I wouldn't say she disappeared. She still does the Scream movies and between those she did a TV show. Her profile definitely got scaled back once she aged out of teen movies but she's still around.
She also played Samantha in Until Dawn in 2015
She got married and had a baby
Ah! The nostalgia of early 2000s bleach blonde, stick straight hair was all the rage. You would find strands of hair EVERYWHERE when at school. My hair still hasn't fully recovered from the heat damage.
You still have the same hair on your head from the early 2000’s? Unless you haven’t cut your hair in 15+ years that isn’t possible.
“Well, you have a lot of breakage.” 😂😂😂😂😂😂👏🏻😂😂
Omg so true though. I noticed it before she mentioned it !!
@@anniixa I remember watching this in Highschool and noticing her “breakage.” 😭
As an actual plus size person I remember it being so damaging in media growing up that they would pick a thin actress and just assign her a “fat” label. I remember thinking if that person is fat, then what am I??? I’m so glad body shaming is something people are more aware of and work not to do now
Our cheerleading captain was a fat girl. The dumbest thing I ever heard was that fat girls can’t be cheerleaders. Because I saw it with my own eyes she was fucking amazing
Or that phase when a bunch of movies put thin actors in fat suits.
Or maybe lose some weight? And then you wouldn’t feel bad about yourself, AND even more importantly, you’ll be healthy!
@@ellamayoxoxo9510 Does OP feel bad about herself for being plus sized, or does she feel bad because people were rude about her being plus sized? Or perhaps she doesn't actually feel bad about herself at all now...especially since people are less rude about it now.
@@ellamayoxoxo9510 sure, its that simple. "Just lose some weight." Next you can tell depressed people to "just be happy"

Brittany knows hes been cheating on her because one of her friends calls and tells her. The worst part is it's not a "you need to confront that jerk" kind of conversation it's a "you better do something to make sure you hold on to him" kind of conversation!
Yes, Brad was a jerk who was only after one thing…..sleeping around with girls. But Britney kind of did the same thing. She technically cheated by kissing Jesse on the mouth. But at least Jesse is a much better guy than Brad.
@@amylee8969 yes Britney & Brad were both in the wrong. Cheating is never okay under any circumstances. It’s not like Britney & Jesse slept together but she was being a little flirty with him and Brad & Winnie were sleeping together behind Britney’s back. Brad was a pos and only wanted 1 thing, and Winnie was a fake friend for sneaking around with Brad behind Britney’s back. One thing is at least Britney backed away from Jesse quickly and realized what she was doing and that she was being unfaithful

It blows my mind how in the 80s you'd watch those old 60s shows and movies....and that's how kids today would see Bring it On and it shakes me to my core.
That's how I think of it to, to put it in perspective. Nick at Night premiered when I was in middle/high school so that's how I saw 50s-70s sitcoms. So that's samesies for schoolkids watching Friends on Netflix and these movies. Oh Lord.
I always think about how That 70s Show premiered in 1998, and took place in 1976 at the beginning of the series. I was 16 at the time - the same age as the kids on the show. I literally grew up with them, and actually formed quite an attachment to 70s culture. I even have an authentic original 1970 orange shag carpet in my wood paneled basement sitting next to our wood burning fireplace and our record player. Now if they were to make a show about the time when I was sixteen, which again, was 1998, and if the time difference was 22 years between the production of the show and the time in which it takes place, like That 70s Show did, it would have premiered last year, in 2020. This blows my mind. Also, did you know there is a car that runs on water? It runs on water, man!
Why did you have to say something so mean! 😉😂💀😭😭 But seriously being around a middle school or high school age person is beyond a sad especially if you don't have kids and not around them in any age. I realize that friends who were pregnant 10-16 years ago that I haven't seen in almost 10 years now have kids who are teenagers now! The real mind twist for me is that in 2004 my husband was 19 and I had just turned 18 when we met (got married a few months later, it was online dating love at first sight) and if we had kids then or even a few years into our relationship that we could have a TEENAGER! I just started feeling like an adult when I turned 31 so the idea that I could have a child any older than 3 is too much for me. Time and thinking how everything related to it is a real brain twister.
@@heatherruth6734 I think about this too! There's no way it can be right that that kids these days have the same relationship to the 90s as we did to the 70s 😭😭😭 I feel 100 years old
@@gsd715 one of my high school best friends had a baby when we were 16. I watched her daughter grow up for years, until we both moved away from our home state in our mid 20s. It hit me recently that her daughter is 16 herself now 😲 in my mind she's like 10 so that was a wake up call lol
Hayden Panitierre has very curly hair and every time I see her, those pretty curls are all flattened out.
As someone who was dragged to all of my older sister's many many cheer practices, performances, and school football games for years I've seen entirely too many cheer punches. And girls being dropped. Went to a small school, they took what they could get.
The fart sounds, heels, sneakers, and clapping have me dieing lmfao!
Same 😂😂
🤣🤣
This momma is so happy Jennifer Coolidge could stop by and introduce the video 😁😁😁
That's the actress! The name escaped me hahaha
😂😂 love her
😂😂
I just can’t stop snort-laughing in the middle of the night while my whole family tries to sleep. Damn you, Jaime. I can’t get through one of these. This is pure gold. You’re ruining my life. 😂
The sound effects have me dying 😂😂😂😂😂 The crumping and Winnies sexual dance 😂😂😂 this is the best video ever …… can you do either slap her she’s French , Romy and Michele‘s high School Reunion or head over heels 👠 i’m obsessed with your videos
I've never heard of Slap her, she's french before but now I feel like it's my duty to watch it
How are we not talking about her decision to jump into a circle of like 15 guys she thought were aggressively fighting?? Real safe, Brittany. Real safe.
Brittany knows that white girls don't get punched because the cops will actually come out to Crenshaw for that call.
Brittany’s privilege is her super power
I like how they were like “well maybe if she’s really tall, people will confuse that with being fat,” in terms of Briana. Like no, she’s just taller than all of them lol
Omg I died at the krump stop 😂😂😂
The cheer kick fart got me good🤣🤣🤣
I’m not laughing by myself in my bathroom at midnight so I don’t disturb my sleeping family. You are.
Glad its not just me
Bahahahaha yes I am
Crap how did you know-
I just laugh in the bed and shake my husband awake from time to time. 🤣
I’m in my car 😂😂😂
Francia Raisa has been playing a teenager for like 15 years. I expected her to be a lot older than she actually is lol
Right
I’m trying to figure out why you are not a famous comedic writer for literally every best movie/show. I owe my pants laughing with every video 😂 you’re a genius
"Want some tea and krumpets?" I died 😂😂😂😂
"Want some krumpets with that tea?" - I died again 🤣🤣🤣
i literally had to close my eyes when they started krumping.
If we even wanna call it that 😂😂
I thought I was the only one! 🤣
🤣😍🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
I will never get over Gabrielle Union’s beauty 😩
Yeah she is star quality. I was much more enamored by her in the original BIO than Kirsten Dunst, who I never looked up to or thought “I want to look like her,” as a teen.
And how she never ages and stays gorgeous.
Yes! Lol the dimples
And she's still gorgeous.😍
she doesn't age
I don't know how many times I've rewatched this video because it's literally the funniest thing on the internet. The wrong emPHAsis on the wrong syLLAble kills me every time.
23:00 is the peak Jaime editing and content I keep coming back for 😂
"Jessie, there's a time and a place for your heartbeat krumping" 😭😭😭😭
"It's never." 😂😂
@@sbailey4891 🤣🤣🤣
Jamies roll call cheer:
Hey! My name is Jamie,
You can not tame me!
I'm a soldier, breakups don't move me!
If you come over, we'll make up and movies!
Yay!
😂😂😂
There has never been a better comment ever. 👏👏👏👏🤣
😂😂😂💀💀
🏃♀️💃💄💅yes!!!
The "be aggressive, be be aggressive" at the end got me 💀😂
Your jennifer Coolidge impression is way to accurate, I glanced away from your video for a second thinking that when you said the opening Bennifer Coolidge bit that it was really the actor from some movie scene.
I am so shocked when I go back to childhood movies and see people they used to call “fat” and how I as a child internalized they were “fat” too. Now when I see them they are usually skinny. So wild that body was seen as not skinny and that I believed that at the time too. Same with the sleepover movie.
This is why I struggled with ED for most of my middle and high school years!!!
Even as a kid I was like "um, that's not fat though?" And I remember my mom and even dad piping up about it too. We would watch teen movies together and then discuss. It made topics about drugs, consent, teen bullying, etc less awkward somehow.
It was the low rise jeans in the late 90s that did it for me... They looked horrid on my un-toned but totally fine body.5'3" 115lb and I thought I was so chubby. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
@@AndreaHa I never had a problem with those but thanks to health issues I'm always underweight. You almost have to be to pull it off
I was 120 all through high school but I thought I was too fat so I always hid myself. Now I’m 150 an adult and I still hate my body. Thanks mom and tv.
"OH YEAH?! Well you have tons of breakage!"
Lmfao
I read your comment before seeing that part and I really hoped it was a quote from the movie but I mean this way wayyy funnier lmao
I really enjoy watching Jamie do these movie reviews. I usually find reviews boring... But Jamie is very entertaining and funny. I love her.
Your Jennifer Coolidge is so completely on point 🤣
The chick they were calling fat was literally not even remotely fat, not even chubby what the hell
Nope! By todays standards, she would have had the perfect body. But honestly, mean girls will constantly look for ways to tear down and belittle other girls to make themselves feel superior. Regina George did the same thing with Gretchen and Karen.
Her butt literally look identical to Hayden’s. Like they could have at least cast an actress that actually had an ass 😆
thats THE POINT. they were making fun of those that called her fat
2000s movie logic.😅
I know! She has a beautiful body. I would KILL to have that shape.
The crumping still has me dead. I don’t know how they didn’t laugh watching them live
Hey Jaime, I just want you to know this is literally one of my comfort videos. I've watched it like... A buncha times. You are hilarious, so easy to listen to, *gorgeous* , and I honestly feel like you're gonna go *so* far with your very many talents, such as-oh hello, singing. Your voice is beautiful! Again, you can do anything you want to girl. 💗 Love love.
Please never stop doing these I need more!
