- I don't think I've ever enjoyed playing a game to completion and been left with such an empty feeling afterward. Spider-Man 1 and Miles Morales definitely didn't have that effect, which eventually led to the tone of this review.

I knew I was not tripping when I first finished the game. It felt rushed and felt like they were just trying to push out the sequel. The first marvels Spider-Man was definitely better paced. I hope the third installment is better paced.
Story wise the first is better but better game overall is Marvel's Spider Man 2. But Spider Man 2 story is amazing too

@_strtchris, Sigh, it never ceases to amaze me how many people in this world go with emotional thinking, instead of critical. People, ya’ll are making the mistake most make with sequels. You forget each game(Pt1, Miles’s game)is still the same story. Not separate. 2 is a wrap up of those 2 games/why it wasn’t as long as 1/it didn’t need to be. 3 is moving forward/new beginning with Miles as Spider-Man.

I wanna point out the Howard mission hits harder with Peter since he was the one who helped Howard catch the birds and we learned more about his story with each bird caught. Its like we as the player also grew closer to him only to see him die in this mission

I saw the funniest video that said what everyone’s thinking about Miles’s new suit. He said “this just confirms that everyone at insomniac is white as snow” 💀
They should have just made Peter the main playable character for the story's sake and gameplay. Really wished insomniac looked at web of shadows and incorporated the gameplay into it, can you imagine switching to the red suit for the spider arms Moveset and switching back to the black suit for more heavy hitting attacks.
Damn bruh you right! It’s just weird how there’s NO different combos with the black suit. I don’t need DMC level of combat but there’s really only 1 actual combo. And the symbiote doesn’t change any of this base combat. It’s still just Square x4
Literally they had so many options they had past spiderman games to use on what worked and what didn’t but they didn’t add or expand the idea of WOS or shattered dimensions even Spiderman 2 movie game also they could’ve taken inspiration from prototype on how to incorporate the tendril moves and switch movesets between one another or something like that it’s just crazy how older rushed Spiderman games do lots off stuff better than Spiderman 2 this game took 5 years to make and all they gave use was 10 new moves and lots of them are rehashed from WOS and shattered dimensions
The only thing spider man 2 (2023) had going for it was the story but even then they stuffed it up. The problem with the story is that they push too many characters through the story without letting it develop. This is the case with miles. Side note for miles, I know what modern spider man writers are trying to do with miles but the problem with him is that he can't carry a story on his own, but not only that, they pulled the trigger too early for miles or they didn't do the set up right. Ok end of miles rant.
Insomniac did pick good stories to adapt with kraven last hunt, black suit saga and king in black, but what they should've added was spider man no more because in my eyes spider man no fits the black suit saga very well in terms of jumping to the next story of whatever spider man story they want to adapt.
The story was a complete and utter mess. Makes Spidey 3 look like a masterpiece in comparison

I always speculated on what the story would’ve been like, years before the game came out. Harry comes back after missing for years, him and Peter meet, Peter accidentally gets the symbiote, he gets stronger and a “better spider-man”. Harry is dying without the suit, Norman hires the best hunter in the world to hunt down the spider and get the suit back to save Harry (always loved the idea of spider-man being hunted down like a wild animal, especially with the black suit on), Peter kills Kraven, he finds out that Osborne hired him, goes to kill him, He meets Harry, the latter finds out that Pete is Spidey, the hatred and illness of Harry attracts the symbiote, then Venom boss fight, Harry dies and after another big loss in his life Peter goes into “retirement”.
A story like this would’ve hit harder for me.

One main issue I want to bring up was a main mission that was practically pointless, that being the black cat mission. Now gameplay wise I love it, since it reminds me a lot of ratchet and clank rift apart, but narrative wise it don’t make sense. You go as miles to warn her, she randomly says that she has a girlfriend in Paris waiting for her, which raises questions for me. First off, why? This is never explained well enough for us to believe her (not that I really would, I mean she lied to Peter about having a kid with him), but if you’re gonna make something like that seem like the truth, at least give some explanation or context as to why. Also I think it was just insomniacs writers trying to force the idea that black cat has a girlfriend. Now that itself is a whole other can of worms I don’t want to talk about here, but my suggestion to improve it would be so that as miles, you do warn her, but instead she acts stubborn, thinking that kraven’s no big deal, and wants to stay in New York as there as she’s looking for different artefacts from dr strange’s sanctorum. She thinks she can get anywhere she wants with these items, so there could be side missions where you could meet her and have her be in main missions with Peter wearing the black suit, since she has a lot of interactions with black suit spidey in the comics. All in all, that’s just what I’d do to improve this mission, since I didn’t really like it all that much.
I agree with that, I was kind of surprised when she actually just left. Really thought she was going to get the teleporter and and show up for different side quests. I don’t want to touch the girlfriend thing tho outside of being annoyed. Not like it’s implausible for her to exist but I figured the girl was a ruse too

Miles wasting time on updating his suit for no practical reason in the middle of an alien invasion made him look like a self-centered idiot.
The story of Spider-man 2018 is much better written than the direct sequel. The only thing the sequel has over the original is the streamlined mechanics and the new mechanics.
A venom game is in the works, so we will see more of him

Me. Venom is a full on hero with their own comics that don't have the wall crawler. Horrible adaptions may of colored your perception of who the character really is but Venom isn't a villain tied to Peter's hip. The real issue is I can't trust Isomanic since it gave us the worst adaption of Venom to exist so far.

@@A4_XCII it doesn’t interrupt combat literally it goes into slow motion so you can select and pick up where you left off so you can get a short breather imo it helped a lot when I needed to regroup. Plus it didn’t make sense to get rid of previous gadgets

The first games gadgets were ridiculously op, when the purpose of gadgets is to help set up your style of combat. However I do think Sm2 should’ve added another 4 gadgets for stealth

Finally someone says what’s wrong with this game ! Still a good game, but the best things are the new traversal abilities and the bigger map… I wish they gave Peter the ability to switch between spider arms & symbiot suit instead of the surge, Insomniac didn’t really took advantage of the fact they had 2 spideys. They could have made them more different to play with. The game feels rushed too, they could have gave Miles a more important role as he knew something was wrong with Pete, he could have helped MJ and Harry during 2nd act, and why not develop a bond with Harry. His college essay is a weak point in the plot imo, they didn’t exploit the Haley/Ganke and Rio dynamics, when Miles was forgetting them. The final boss was not even on my top 3 and is forgettable.
pretty much agree with everything u said here. I had a great time with the game but it wasnt until i got to the end and saw the full scope of the story that i realized how many problems it had.
Actually... Something I really wanna comment is how you referred Mega Venom Blast as a tiny version of the thing Miles does at the end of his game. I only realized on my new game+ while I was going for the platinum trophy that this smaller version was available since Miles was tortured by Roxxon. With 3 energy bars fully charged, you press triangle + circle and it's done. How come I ignore such a powerful attack? How did I never notice the game was giving me a new ability?
You mean in Miles Morales? If it’s a regular ability there then I actually forgot too. I only remembered him using it in the cutscenes lol

Lmfao I actually agree, finally a video that addresses the fact that Spider-Man 1 and Miles Morales were superior to this game almost every conceivable way. It didn't feel like a proper sequel that built on the foundations, but it felt like a sequel that took its foundations and sold them out to the highest bidder. So instead we got a Peter Parker who spends the entire game apologising to everyone or being ultra positive towards everyone except for the black suit, and a Miles Morales that was USED SPECIFICALLY for missions that pushed agendas and promoted a false idea of a black person who has barely any flaws and promotes Adidas tracksuits. Waste of 2 great characters that were far more interesting and deep in their own games.

It's better then the first 2 games. The only thing that the first one got that's better is story. But story for Marvel's Spider Man 2 is amazing too. But better game overall is Marvel's Spider Man 2. Marvel's Spider Man 2 got 91 on Metacritic making it the highest Metacritic score of any Marvel/Spider Man game so there for that's no where near worst. It's fantastic. It sold plenty of copies well which is also a success. Marvel's Spider Man 2 is objectively the best Spider-Man game and so the 2018 game is dethroned.
Meanwhile the first one got 87 and Miles Morales got 85. So yeah Spider Man 2 is better

Spiderman 2 should have been a standalone Peter Parker game and Miles should have had his own games instead of trying to phase out peter in favour of Miles.
There is somewhat of a stealth trial with the big hunter bases as it’s extremely hard to take down a full one without stealth

Not at all even in the hardest difficulty the hunter bases are so easy to clear with or without stealth
There was so much potential for venom to be a metaphor for addiction and toxic relationships where we could’ve gotten an actual level of “hate” from Harry before Peter helps rehabilitate him (essentially) but they said nah fuck it we doing king in black
And I get to for gameplay and marketing and fan service reasons but only 1 of those feels warranted here. They sacrificed the story MASSIVELY and I think we still could’ve had a better story and gotten the gameplay elements without compromise
It also was a missed opportunity as far as fight kraven with regular Peter then fight him later with the suit would have been a great way to show how powerful the suit increases his power
Great video! The third act lost me for the most part. I just can’t get over it, Insomniac wasn’t supposed to fumble a game about the symbiote arc. They were the chosen ones!

Miles had a Colgate sponsorship and an adidas sponsorship so he had to wear that awful suit.
My biggest issue with this game was that insomniac made this a miles and peter game. It felt as the story lost its focus on peter as he constantly needs saving and its evident as it can be during the final boss where miles takes on venom's most powerful form with much less issues than peter even with his "Anti venom" suit.
All i agree with is Insomniac fumbled Spider-Man 2 really bad. Miles however does NOT need more screentime. Its bad enough Peter was written terribly to the point hes even nerfed in the black suit that has no weakness to fire or electricity. There was never an emotional limitation to the extremity of Spider-Man in the black suit until THIS very game which is why it's difficult to take serious and it comes of as a demotion of Peter's place in his own series. We already had Web Of Shadows tell this story in a better way using established characters and cross over battles during a proper symbiote invasion of Manhattan. Venom's new personality was explained via evolution but it was still Eddie Brock and the choices we were allowed to make to change the stories ending accompanied with the combo potential and seamless switching between the regular suit and black suit still make Web Of Shadows ahead of its time compared to SM2 that seeks to demean one Spider-Man for another at every turn. The only thing limiting WoS is the hardware. Fighting Scream is beautiful in SM2 but the dialogue about mortgage is just... Not anything that makes me feel bad for hitting her in the face 😅😂 I really couldn't help but notice Venom was a blank piece of paper. He was more graphics and obstacle than presence or dialogue.
I don’t like how the dialogue is supposed to have ANY emotional weight without showing jt beforehand. Like miles vs Peter is kinda mid and a let down cause they don’t even have any conflict in this game. Same with scream vs Peter
The constant beratement of Peter also started to get to me by the end, but that's so opinion based that I didn't think it fit in the vid. It did inspire me to figure out wtf is happening with the putting down of Peter for Miles nowadays though

I just picked up the first game again today, and maaaaaaaaan… there’s so much DETAIL missing from Spider-Man 2. Despite not having Queens or Brooklyn, Manhattan feels like it has much more soul in it back in 2018. You can just tell they worked longer in the original. I also lived in Manhattan in real life when I played through the original, and I’d start and stop on top of the building I lived in. It was probably the most fluid and immersive game I’ve ever played in my life. It literally felt like I was jumping off my roof and living out that story, especially when I’d go to the locations in real life. It was actually insane. The second game was amazing and had so much heart, but I definitely didn’t take it all in like the first game. Did I rush through the second game too much because I didn’t want spoilers? Maybe a little. But I also think it has less replay value than the first one. I actually kind of feel like a lot of the limitations in the first game were good things. Also… is it just me or are the character models worse (for the most part) in Spider-Man 2? I think Miles looks his best, but Peter, MJ, and so many New Yorkers just look soulless.
Okay. If they made Mile's hair a bit longer, add webbing to the mask, have the hood be functional rather than not, take away the blue marks, and the shoes, get them out of here. Then it would look a bit better
They couldve done a gadget mode and a abilities mode where gadgets are more situational but you have more of them and with abilities you have more brute force but has longer cooldowns so you have to use them sparingly,
the only way the first game is better is in it story

Honestly this video perfectly sums up the second game, I was VERY disappointed in the sequel, and considering how long its taking them to add NG+ im close to just unistalling it and going back to the first game modded on pc
They should have focused this game on Peter like they did in Spiderman 1 (We don't see Peter for 95% of Miles' game. But Peter and Miles share this one in a weird organization).
Or should have made the game fully multiplayer.
I also think the game should have focused on either Venom or Kraven (and maybe the mutation plot they used in Spiderman Animated Series).

i loved the video! i just wanna say i noticed you gave peter his classic symbiote skin with the white pallete and the puerto rican flag miles skin a lot, those two are my faves, white classic looks good with peter especially when he has the white tendrils, they also look cool when you use surge and see him transform like how the black suit would visually change for peter, and for miles PR skin i’m puerto rican myself so it was automatically my fav, i wish i could wear it in the endgame scenes

One thing about the combat is i wish Peter can bring out the spider arms permanently in combat like in Spider1 giving every hit more damage , like in addition to already having the spider arm abilities. Idk if you know what i mean but yea

I could be wrong but I think I heard of an interview where the creative director for Spider-Man 2 said that they had to cut a lot of content for some stupid reason I feel like if they hadn't made that decision maybe the sequel would have gone down better but so far from what I've played my only issue is it doesn't seem as interesting as the first game story wise I wish they would have taken more time to expand on that premise but I hope we get that in the third game if there is going to be a third game

Kinda yeah. In the first game, we had setup for EACH villain but this game just doesn’t do any of it. Kravens only character development is that he has cancer in a throwaway line and then it isn’t brought up again

I agree that Eddie Brock should have been Venom in the game they subtly hinted at him the 2 previous games if you weren’t fully paying attention.
I think the only reason they made Harry have an illness was to copy The Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie.
In regards to the story I think it would have been better if it ended after Venom kills Kraven and then escapes. This would leave Anti-Venom, Martin Li's complete redemption, and the symbiote invasion to the third game therefore giving the Kraven and Black Suit storylines more time to develop.
Maggia was in dlc so original has 5 factions without dlc miles has 5 but prisoners and street thugs are almost the same if i remember correctly and hunters have a lot of enemies
I agree that this is the worst Marvel's Spider-Man game so far. It did a lot right, but so much wrong. Main issues: Weak ending, antivenom felt cheap and shouldn't exist, there are way less crimes and an empty feeling open world, maintaining high swinging speed is impossible. Then the cut features: No way to change time of day/weather, no mission/base replay, no new game plus.
All the first game did wrong was have slightly repetitive gameplay. All Miles did wrong was have a weaker story than the first game. Neither of these problems come close to all the shit Spider-Man 2 messed up, even if they did improve the combat and bossfights.

The ending is amazing. Anti Venom is necessary because some of the symbiote was inside him so they tried to cure him before he turns into one of them.
There is less crimes because the first 2 games got criticized for having unnecessary filler. They improved the side missions by making it less repetitive.
New Game Plus update, DLC, etc are coming in early 2024.
The first game has other flaws too like lack of enemy varieties and the combat wasn't so challenging. Marvel's Spider Man 2 improved upon its predecessors like the combat is improved, traversal, bosses, enemy varieties and MJ segments are improved. It has flaws but the good outweighs the bad.

@@arinhossain2100 actually no. That idea got scrapped. Instead they’re making a venom game, where you get to play as Peter, Miles and venom. Thanks to the major insomniac link We know this. The game has carnage stuff in it. He will more than likely be the main focus.
I feel like they should’ve not only made Kraven Miles’ villain instead of Peter’s but they should’ve made Kraven become the muscular venom. Miles has been the main Spider-Man while Peter’s been gone with MJ after tinkerer and Kraven could’ve seen that Miles is inherently stronger than Peter (they’re tryna push him as the main Spider-Man now). Kraven wanting Miles then switching to Peter once he gets the black suit could still happen but then when Peter and miles fight and Peter rejects it, venom seeks out Kraven. Having sickly harry as buff venom is pretty dumb imo. Plus now both spidermen have an emotional connection to the final boss with venom being Peter’s problem and Kraven being Miles’. It’s not comic accurate but that hasn’t stopped them in the past
I was kinda wishing it was kraven as venom. We ALL knew it was Harry yet it’s still just odd cause it never feels like Harry. JUST venom. Or if they want harry ass venom. Then make Harry seek out kraven to get the black suit off of Peter. It’ll give kraven more to do and harry more to do
Swapping out Eddie Brock with Harry Osborn was an excellent move on Insomniac’s part because the writing on his arc is nearly flawless. Harry was a dying man who wanted to heal the world, and the symbiote offered him a twisted version of that dream through turning others into symbiote infected zombies. The game made Venom more than just a stalker out to kill Spider-Man. Venom was actually a threat to the safety of not only New York City but the entire planet. And his relations with Peter (being that Harry is his best friend) as well his motivations makes Venom a very sympathetic character.

Now I could get behind that. The Symbiote would want to bond to a stronger host. Creating Symbiote Kraven, instead of biting his head off. And then Kraven could actually kill Harry, then the final fight is a test of endurance and skill as Peter can't sense the Symbiote because of it messing with his Spider-Sense, but Miles can. But Mile's bio electricity does not affect Venom-Kraven. Peter has a reason to hate the Symbiote and Kraven for taking Harry from him. Then, it would balance out the end of the game and make it a real team effort between Miles and Peter to take down Kraven, now changing to Venom. That would have made a more enjoyable final fight. You could have Venom-Kraven doing things that would try to hurt Peter for rejecting them. Kraven would hate Peter because he's a better warrior than him and refused to kill him.

The game wasn’t BAD it was really good but a lot of other games were better overall so that’s why it didn’t win any awards, it just couldn’t really compete, still very enjoyable gameplay tho

-Opening cinematic should have been Kraven killing a S6 member not a random guy.
-Miles should have had a Boss fight with a Spider slayer that has Vulture, Electro, and Shocker powers. to give them a better send-off and give Miles better side content.
Introduce Alistair Smyth as Kravens robotics designer and have him get paralyzed in the aftermath and blame Miles for it. Would have been perfect for Miles' revenge theme in his main story.. and given him a villain tease for Spider-Man 3.
-I'd appreciate more to do in the sandbox like random mini bosses implemented the same way as the random ally encounters.

After replaying the Arkham games after Spider-Man 2, I realized how terrible insomniac is at puzzle design, world building, writing Dialogue , story pacing ,, fan service, and overall amount of content in general when compared. I Still like SM2 but I groan when it forces me to play as Mary John Wick and savor every playable Venom second. Along with everything mentioned in the video above like the rushed story. I'm glad it didn't win any awards because this is a downstep from its predecessor or optimistically a side step. End of Rant😅
From what I've watched in playthroughs, I hate how they reduced the character of Venom to just a mindless monster, the game was rushed, the side missions felt disconnected compared to the first game, me personally I hated the symbiote apocalypse in Web of Shadows and it doesn't work here either. Harry's emotional transition was jarring bc we never seen him have resentment for his dad. also the miles essay thing was so ??? anyways miles storyline > peter's

A pet peeve I had with the game was the black cat girlfriend thing. That came out of left field and soured a bit of the game for me
Overall the game has a range of really good moments to unnecessary fluff that without would give more room for better storytelling and lift the good parts even higher.
Sorry for the rant, its just that insomniac sparked the small bit of hope for good spiderman representation I had after the terrible comic runs and I'm really hoping they continue like that
They better work on SM3 for like 5-6 years and make it a masterpiece.

I would not called it a "fun", Miles skills with 0 points put in it STRONGER than Peter with fully unlocked talent tree, they purposely did everything to show off that Miles character is more powerful, to make him a replacement, "Why you need this Peter who can't beat NPC fast enough, play as Miles he so flashy and fast"

I really hope they take in some criticisms. This game is a real shame and something tells me it's also exactly what we're going to get in the future. I think my biggest problems were the shitty stealth (and by extension the wall-crawling), lack of combat moveset, the annoying hand-holding preventing any sense of discovery, and the missions where we play as NPCs. There's plenty more but these would already make the game way more enjoyable.

The amount of hovering in place in the new combat systems of modern spiderman games really make the combat feel like shit to me compared to my experience of Of the Olds and specifically Ultimate Spiderman I'd prefer gravity to be involved while fighting basic thug enemies etc
my main take on this game. gameplay was amazing. story was amazing until middle of act 2 they rushed it. kraven was more of the main villan then venom. not enough side content. no newgame+ dlcs or tendril colors replay missions and peters agression still. the game has been out for almost 4 months and nothing. I feel like if the game was delayed another 6-8 months to have another 3-5 hours of story and all the things we dont have at launch we woulda won maybe 2 awards. during hype 10/10. after 9.3 for me. for me Gameplay> story but both matter alot
The mechanics of this game are incredible, the story subpar, animation is well done, length is disappointing. Over all not bad, DLC length and replay-ability in future update will hopefully make this game more worth it and make the story more satisfying.

I think many points out that while this is a great game, Insomniac kinda play it too safe with everything. At the end of the day, Pete is the OG. When people say Spiderman, people mean Pete. The game should be about him, having Miles there to assist is fine, but having Miles there being the prince while Pete being the princess that constantly needs saving and always say sorry is just horrible. I counted at least 5 times Pete needs saving, the worst offense is that - I know it is not in this game but boy what a sour taste going into SM2 - is that Pete can 1v2 Scorpion and Rhino, but get rekt by just Rhino in MM ? What the F ? Pete sure as F did rekt Sandman before all the tech, advanced suit, yet he get KO by Sandman and almost get killed just so Miles can save the day for no valid reason ? LMFAO
They purposely made peter less fun to play. They are going to retire peter after the third and pass the baton to miles have and the new spider girl teased at the end while occasionally having peter as a cameo or recurring character. Now that the MCU is dead they are making the MGU

The white version was that bad with miles suit and Spider-Man felt rushed at the end because it was a world ending threat and it didn’t feel like it.

Facts
My biggest issue about the game is that the storylines are literally ripped from other spiderman 3. Kraven hunting lizard while being in the symbiote, which is from the movie tie in of spiderman 3 and the world domination from the symbiote, which is from web of shadows. They didnt even try at all. Also, they chose different looks for peter and mary jane. Ary jane literally looks like peters grandma in the 60s and peter looks too young. The first insomiac game has a better look for him because of the timeline
SM 1 was a far better story than 2 by a landslide. Miles spinoff isn't as good as 1 or even 2, the villain was average or below. Good vid tho.
I saw the quality draining since Spider-man 1s DLC, the only thing improving is movement.

The problems with this game extend to Miles Morales just as a character, he doesnt have his own identity. Also the gotcha mentality of studios (comics, movie and game studios) recently of trying to get at some fans who dont like them making Miles replace Peter by saying Miles is Spiderman is biting them in the ass because for one Miles cannot exist without Peter Parker who is THE Spiderman all his storylines more or less have to rely on Peter being there or being connected in some way, all his villains are Peter traditional villains, all his success as a character is because Peter Parker is a successful character and two they're lowkey forcing him in the stories awkwardly. The Tinkerer in the last game was a Peter villain that they "repurposed." Miles should have been had his own moniker like Spider Gwen, Spiderman 2099, Sipderman Noir, Scarlet Spider, Spider Punk. They tried to give him Ultimate Spiderman but lets be honest nobody's calling him that so everyone just ends up calling him Miles Morales or Black Spiderman and it doesnt help that they both live in the same City a few minutes away from each other.
Last game Peter had a personal connection with King Pin, Doc Oc, Mr Negative and the Sinister Six. This game Peter Parker has a personal connection to Harry, Venom and Miles is awkwardly forced in that dynamic and made Mr Negative be his arch nemesis even though Peter used to literally work for him and he played a part in his aunt dying. The next game the main villains are gonna be Doc Oc and Green Goblin both of whom know Peter Parker personally but yet Miles Morales is somehow gonna be the main spiderman of the game.

But the enemy types aren’t different. Since combat isn’t much different either the game feels stale. The game IS a beat em up but it still feels kinda weird that they only do 2 moves. Maybe add dynamic combat where the enemies break out of webs? Idk something to spice it up
@@The-Legend-of-P tbh I think the variety comes in the enemy numbers. No doubt Insomniac cut corners but they did try. If you restrict to just fisticuffs and webs the task is doable but definitely a challenge (unless your miles)

And I hate when games just add more enemies to fights. I don’t think adding more enemies makes the game harder. Just more annoying. And sm2 just added wayy more enemies instead of making it just harder? They chose to overwhelm the player with a ton of enemies this time around and it’s an odd choice. Doubling down is fine ig but just a weird choice to double down THIS hard when you’re making a Spider-Man game. Just add some actual combos to Spidy besides abilities and you should be good 👍 like a sweep the leg move or some shit
@@The-Legend-of-P they tried. Half of the first two games content came from suit powers and weapon gadgets. So it feels less but the combat is better than the 1st and the second one one is debatable.

The only problem with the game is that everything is rushed just to get to Venom. Symbiote Spiderman is underdeveloped and wasted despite its potential. Any buildup is wasted, everything fails because the pacing is just so bad. The game would've gotten game of the year if the freaking narrative went slower.
