Mom wants a little zip of sambucca while you cook Lidia lol. How I have loved watching you over the years. I think when I started watching you your oldest son was in university or something!! I remember Saturday afternoons I’d be watching my cooking shows on PBS and you’d be coming on. Especially in the fall it’d be cold and overcast outside so I’d put coffee on and then I’d curl up on the couch and watch you cook such wonderful things. Unfortunately I’m in a hospice center now but I’m ok because I find so many of your episodes and recipes on YT here!! Thanks for the wonderful memories la mia bella Lidia !!

I love the banter between Grandma and Lidia in this episode. Also, Grandma's stories about cooking for others and how much they loved her food are so sweet. She's is a gem. This panna cotta is a thing of beauty, I have never made it before so I'm looking forward to this weekend so I can give the recipe a try.

I think this was my favorite show of them all.
What a lovely segment! I thoroughly enjoyed the interaction between you and your mom and the fun you are both clearly having teasing each other and remembering earlier days. I'm going to adapt this recipe because I'm trying to do a keto diet and milk is not allowed so I think I probably will do it with maybe a little yogurt or ricotta. Obviously the coffee granules, gelatin, cream, vanilla and salt are fine. Nice fresh with cream on top or berries as you suggested would make this just a wonderful treat. I really loved some of your recent recipes like the eggplant lasagna and a fish that you did a little ways back. Thanks for helping to keep my menus fresh and interesting!

Some partially haven't closed down, they only do take-out. Oh if Lidia had a restaurant in Dallas, just doing takeouts atm, I'd so love to apply and take the opportunity to learn to actually get hands on! Her cooking is so inspirational!
@@rossphillipgerard I don't know, I live in California and went to visit in PA. Decided to head on to have lunch and to my surprise, it was empty- closed. She has other restaurants in other states; we just have to plan and go visit.
