Just an absolute stunning GTX! This has it all, original documentation including intact build sheets, original window sticker, and receipts for restoration. Gorgeous color combinations that you won’t stumble upon again! The original 440 has been bored and stroked and is now making over 500 horsepower, yet it idles and looks stock!
DOCUMENTATION: Not only 1 but 2 build sheets were found in the car, it has it's original window sticker, copies of the punch cars were provided by Chrysler Historical, it has original owner's manual and sales brochure. There is also a pile of restoration receipts including engine specs.
EXTERIOR: A silver bullet! All clean, straight rust-free metal. The body work is smooth and straight with no wavy panels. The Silver Metallic paint has a deep wet glossy finish. All the trim and chrome bumpers look original and in very good condition. Just enough light patina to believe it’s original. The 15” chrome Magnum wheels look new and have new radial Redline tires.
INTERIOR: Great looking blue interior looks great against the silver. The dash area is all very nice unabused original condition. The knobs, bezels, lenses and even the original AM radio and clock look nice. There is a stereo custom installed into the glove box. Down on the floor is real nice carpets and embroidered mats. The factory center console is in good original shape with working interior lights and an original tachometer. The seats and door panels were redone to original specs with the western embossed pattern on both.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood sits a beast of an engine. Original numbers matching 440 stroked to 505ci pushing 500HP! The build consists of Eagle stroked crankshaft, Diamond pistons, Eagle H beam rods, hydraulic Comp Cam, high volume oil pump, full competition valve job with stainless valves and bronze guide liners. This motor is a powerhouse yet it is smooth and idles like kitten. Is has stock manifolds, chrome valve covers and dual snorkel air cleaner. The hoses and wires are run neatly. All the components look fresh and proper. It has a reproduction Mopar battery properly secured and has a disconnect switch. Reproduction hose clamps, the squirters are hooked up, has both horns, correct radiator and shroud. The engine bay is clean metal painted nicely. The original fender tag is still attached. It has power brakes and the power steering was upgraded with a Borgeson unit.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb are painted real nice. It has a new mat and weatherstrip. Inside the trunk is rock solid clean metal that's been spatter painted.
UNDERSIDE: Gorgeous ground up restoration with upgrades! Original style suspension was rebuilt including front steering linkage, ball joints, control arms, and polyurethane swaybar end links. The rear leaf springs were replaced, and coil over shocks were added. The brakes were upgraded with a Mopar 4 wheel disc conversion kit for ultimate stopping power. The gas tank looks new, and new fuel lines were neatly routed. A mini Holley fuel pump that sits on top of the tank is out of sight and makes this baby fire up right away every time. The dual exhaust was custom fabricated by a performance shop, with H pipe, black coated FlowMaster mufflers, and ran full length into chrome oval tips out the back. Looking up at the motor, it's very clean and has a high torque starter. It’s mated to a freshly rebuilt numbers matching 727 Torqueflite trans with a mild shift kit added. Everything’s powered through the original matching rear end with 3.23 posi. The floors and frame appear rust free and were prepped and undercoated properly with rust proofing and finished in satin black.
SERVICE: We inspected this car and all we had to do is calibrate the speedometer and fix a turn signal.
This car is from a very good seller, his cars are always dialed in and right. This is the best of both worlds: an investment with documentation and correct codes but it has internal upgrades such as bored and stroked motor, disc brakes, upgraded steering etc. It's an investment you can enjoy!

Very nice car, not many of these are around. Thanks Jay!
Thanks for what? That’s his job.
Mrknothole you obviously don't have one princess
Under the hood looks CLEAN and sounds awesome!
A college acquaintance of mine (he was a little older guy who was going back to school at the time) had a '66 Belvedere, black with a dual four barrel 440 and a 4-speed in it, and a black interior out of a GTX. Occasionally he'd drive his dad's '70 Barracuda convertible to school, maroon with a white top and a 318.
love the color. if it was a 4 speed manual, it would already been sold
Jay - I watched your video's every day and you ALWAYS show much homework you do before you feature a vehicle and how passionate you are every time you do a showing!!

NICE CAR 🚗🚘
Wow nice 👍🙂
Outstanding car!
Beautiful
Those slots in the fender turn signals are NOT cracks, they are slots so you can unscrew the lenses to replace the bulbs
Damn, that's nice.
One Nice Mopar
Not the real Silver Bullet, but a very clean example of Jimmy Addison's '67 GTX.
We got him again lol it's a 67 not a 68 as you said on your test drive
My only question is it clean
It’s breathtaking. But, it needs a manual trans with that motor.
Nope
Auto way better. No one wants 4 speed any more. Those days are gone
PS wow wow warpspeed 9 😊😊
Nice car. A working clock would display attention to small details. Now, one has to wonder...
Clock is not necessary
@@daveklein2826 My testicles aren't necessary either, but they do make a valid contribution and make me whole as I was born with them.
I totally agree with you.
That is a screwdriver slot.
I always thought they were cracked!
Come on boy it is not a 68 it's a 67
Price?
