Great video Carsland is the best land. Outside of Flo's V8 Cafe your showing the firing order of the spark plugs very cool. Under the cover with the plugs are the very bottoms of the pistons, poking out, and holding the overhang up are the connection rods. It is beautiful with the lights glowing. The curb feelers hung on the side of the car and when the car got close to the curbing the feeler would rub or scratch the cement curb and make a loud scraping noise. This lets you know that you are very close so you do not scrap your white wall tires. Cleaning white walls on tires is a very hard job. Ajax cleanser helps clean the white walls. On the glowing neon sign with the curb feeler, the large curved line above the curb feeler is the outline of the old fashion fender. You can see a small design of the tire sticking out below. The mountains looks like they are glowing. The bridge that is above the water fall I wondered if this was a design from some other bridge in California. Maybe up in Sacramento. Road Signs "You maybe be lost, Don't rant and rave, Radoatpr Sprngs is up ahead, Burma Shave". Doing a Carsland part 2 would wonderful...

The first 2 dioramas you pointed out were from “Cars 2” - They were the “Rainbow Bridge” in Tokyo, and Luigi’s hometown in Italy.
And… curb feelers were not electric. They were made of steel that scraped along the curb so you could hear when you got close enough to the curb while parking.

At that shop that had the Santa Car hood, that last one you showed looked like it was representing the 3 kings, with the 2 turbans & the crown. And the series of signs for people to read as they drove were originally advertising for a shaving cream, with the first four being a little haiku and the fifth sign reading “Burma Shave”. The only time I got to DCA was in 2011, pre-Carsland, but I’ve been on Rt. 66 in the 60’s, and they nailed it. Love the neon.

I lived in Holbrook Az some years ago --- a lot of the lovely details in the Cars movies and Cars Land are based on real things on old route 66.
In downtown Holbrook, you can find the Wigwam Motel which was the inspiration for the cozy cone --- as an example. There are other examples....

I love your idea about curb feelers lighting up the dash when they contact the curb, but they are in fact much less fancy. When they drag along the curb they make a loud scraping noise alerting the driver not to get any closer to the curb, thus protecting the tires and rims from getting scratched up. 👍

I really enjoyed this video and yes, please do CL 2 video. Boy, your videos have a lot of Disney history, trivia, secrets and fun facts in them. You add them just on the fly too. My daughter met you at DCA a few days ago and she really enjoyed your taking time out to visit. Keep doing you, because you and your videos are fun, unique and awesome. We won’t mention you “surfing” in the rocking gondola of the Pixar Pal-A-Round Ferris wheel. Whaaaat.

Hi everyone, interesting update from Disney Castaway Cay!
we had dead american Guest on Island, this is what happened:
Guest was snorkeling and started to complain that he is not feeling well and started to loose consciousness. Unfortunately incompetent lifeguards needed like twenty minutes to extract poor guy from water! Island Nurse did not responsed on emergency for 10 minutes,crew was searching for her around island,eventually was found with her radio switched off?!When she arrived, together with lifeguards she putted cpr device on wrong place on patient and than they tried to transport patient back to cruise ship.On entrance on ship,lifeguard and nurse dropped patient on ground,he fell directly on head,all this happened in front of his family!
