For several years I took my granddaughter all over Disneyland and DCA to get every pressed penny known to man for her collection. She would save her coins all year to prepare for the hunt.
Thank you Chris. There is no manual for being a parent and even if there was, there is no manual for raising kids in today’s day and age. The challenges that parents and kids face today are unique and just as valid as the challenges that any other generation has faced. ❤
At the current cost of a 1 day ticket, it actually comes out to 25 cents per minute at the park. No joke, do the math. Lol
If I did the math correctly that would mean park tickets cost 240$ per day, which is almost 2 and a half times what they actually cost for a 1 day ticket
@@1800owch weekend parkhopper tickets are currently $259 per day. Maybe you're using an exchange rate?
You come up with the funnest ideas for your videos. Thanks and keep it up.❤
Hi Chris! It was so nice to meet you in between Adventure Land and Frontierland! Sending aloha from Hawaii! 🤙🏻
It was my pleasure
Is no one going talk about how good Provost’s aim is? 😂
🤣🤣💙💚
And the CZcams Oscar for best cinematography.... Chris Provost for the pinball game while filming!!!! Speach! Speach!!
Aloha Chris...you'd think since Ned is fifty cents his head would actually work and talk like it used to..other than that I love the video..thank you Chris
Some of my favorite quarter uses are the fortune teller Esmeralda on main street, the pirate fortunes in Peices of eight, and the dancing Woody in the mercantile.
I think there are a few more games but that could have *changed*
Thanks Chris! We love the Magic Lamp (when it isn’t out of service). 💕
My childhood was filled with all of these. Though I do miss the Arcade in Tomorrowland. It had so many games both upstairs and downstairs. I do wish they would bring that back.
I remember when parking was a quarter! An “A” ticket was 10-cents and a “B” ticket was 25-cents! And for about 16 quarters you could get general admission into Disneyland!
What a fun video! Yes, the penny arcade and shot guns for sure! So fun. I've never done the lamp, Ned, or pinball. I've seen Ned but just pass by him lol. When I was younger I would use my quarters for the press penny machines. My favorite penny press machine was at the exit of what was Splash Mountain. My only quam with coins and any kind of metals, even my keys, is the yucky smell it leaves on your hand and fingers, so if i handle coins I gotta always wash my hands. 😊
I gotten my silver quarters pressed. These were extremely worn, so no collector value other than the silver , just clean and polished prior to pressing them. Sounds pretty when you drop them on the table.
Dude your content is so wholesome and great
Such an unexpected but deserving topic... glad you did this one! 😊
I also love pinball! Thanks for sharing these tips!
Super fun video, thank you!
You are amazing! We love your videos 😍
Great ideas!!! Thank you so so much😊❤❤
That was fun, thanks! I usually walk right past these activities! I need to explore more!
Fun video! Thanks for the videos Chris
Love the subject that you chose. Great way to show children what they can do in DSNYLND.
Super cute video! Especially now that everything is so expensive! My 6yr old will enjoy this next time we go. I actually didn’t know the lamp was there. Thank you for sharing ❤ p.s I appreciate YOU! 🫶
I really love your channel and the great things you share with all of us ✨thank you Provost!
What a fun video. Thanks Chris
We really appreciate you and your family you bring so much joy to those of us who can't always get to Disney but do enjoy seeing it thank you so much
Always enjoy your videos and love your encouragement talks 💕
Aww, I just left Disneyland. Lol. I loved this video so much! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Sir
Hey Chris ! Thanks for giving my husband and I a chuckle every night after a workday 😊 we love your videos and you're AmaZing !!
I loved this video! I love this kind of stuff at Disneyland, so fun!
Ahh this video was so fun! I love all the little nuggets you share. I’ll be there later this year for a week! I look forward to seeing all of these things when I’m there!
This is so cool! Thank you for showing this, Chris! I DEFINITELY want to try that Indiana Jones pinball machine 🤩
Thank you for your wonderful videos. I also wanted to say thank you for your special messages, today's message really spoke to me ❤❤❤
Thank you Chris for your talk. It felt like you really are talking to me and my husband. Your videos and talks are amazing, you, Amanda and Miles are amazing and you all rock 🤗
Thanks so much Chris! It's really great to know about these quarter games that I have seen around the park. What I remember most during my trips is the Indiana Jones pinball machine inside Adventureland Bazaar. I am very happy to see they brought it back, a big piece of history. Pinball has been a huge part of my life as I've been through a lot of arcades in my childhood. I love seeing the ball hit the obstacles in the machine racking up points. I used to own a pinball machine in my family house when I was a teenager. Every time I got home from school, I would go and play it for hours.
Provosts, you have brought so much happiness to my life throughout the Covid pandemic and thank you so much! I am so happy I got to meet you in Disneyland back in 2021 and I will never forget that moment. Keep up that positivity you continue to bring through PPP!
Nice shootin and pin ball!
I did the lamp and shooting gallery last year
Going in November with a friend of mine, definitely gonna tell her to take some quarters so we can play pinball, love these videos :D
Thanks Chris 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🍁🍂🎃🍂🍁
I miss those movie viewer things (not sure the actual name of the machine) that lined the floor of the Penny Arcade. Used to live up to its name & have a variety of things like the grip test.
This is a good one! Just the last few days, I was reminding myself that I must take quarters in (which I normally don't) for the nickelodeon (shouldn't that be a quarterodeon?) at the trading post in Frontierland.
Going there this Friday and Saturday so we dont have to rush through everything. Ill try the pizza taco you had. I've seen videos where the person showcased the food and acted like it was the best food on earth. I went there 2 weeks ago and what we tried was "ok". We use to have annual passes when the top tier was only around 325 each. The food quality seemed to be the same as it was then. Not bad but not something to rave about. I love pizza so Ill be back to give my thoughts. Great video!
you missed a few things you can do with a quarter....one of which is you can make wishes come true.
next to the castle,is snow whites wishing well...toss your quarter in there, and make a wish...all the money tossed into the wishing well is collected up by disney, and given to childrens charities....making their wishes come true as well.
it doesnt even have to be a quarter....a dime,a nickel,or a penny will do. there are lots of places around the park like this....the queue for snow whites enchanted wish has a dungeon where people toss their coins...and help make those wishes come true.
disneyland is a place where "wishes DO come true".
Fun vlog!! Will have to Take the True Grip Challenge 💪
Love that Indiana Jones pinball! I wondered if you might include it, even though it's multiple quarters.
I love all these fun things you can do with change. Thanks for putting together this video ❤️
Gosh is being a parent difficult, nothing like I imagined. Unfortunately our first little guy came almost 3 months early, he's growing so well though despite delays, sensory hypersensitivity, being non verbal, and diagnosed with Autism this year. It's so hard sometimes. We try our best and take each day at a time, starting fresh from the frustrations of the previous day. I hope to take him to Disney someday but it scares me. It would be great to know what resources Disney has for taking a child with disorder to Disneyland.
And I just want to take a moment to talk to you 😊 ... you're doing a wonderful job Provost family. Thank you for all the hard work behind the scenes to bring us these happy, uplifting, informative videos. Thanks for sharing your light with others. If you think someone might not want to watch a video because it's a silly idea, get that thought out of your head. We would love anything you create because I came from the heart.
Thanks again for all you do Chris and fam, and all the behind the scenes folk. 🙏❤️
Playing pinball at disneyland...now I have something else I have to do when I vist.
I remember when the Frontier Land Shootin' Exposition used Beebe's
Awesome
Thank You For Uploading This On My Beautiful Asian Wife (Maya-Minnie-Chu)’s 29th Birthday.
You are so much more polite saying hi to fans than the Adam the woo….he kinda looks upset or doesn’t want to be bothered when people just wave or say hello
Kudos to you for being so friendly and so kind.
A coke! 50 years ago! JK! Great video concept.
Fun fun! So much simple fun!!!! 🥰🥰🥰
I love how Chris got to the second thing and it was already more than a quarter. Nice try, Chris.
❤ sending smiles
Chis thanks so much for one heck of a quarter day at the one and only Disneyland and I know from what you showed if you manage your quarters right you’ll have the wildest time in the universe as you did now I’m curious what food items can you get with your quarters inquiring minds would love to know well Chris you made my day that much better as you always do each time I watch you, now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Chris Amanda and Miles and I’ll see you on the next awesome vlog adventure peace ☮️ out ✌️
hi Chris, has anyone informed you of when or if they will ever do the Magic Keys again? my kids want to go to disneyland but I won’t spend that type of money for a one day ticket. At that price point, I better be putting that towards a magic key lol
I saved money with getaway today. Also they gave me a veteran discount with Provost Park pass discounts. They are super nice. The process is very easy and the layaway plan is an awesome ❤ feature.
Whats up Chris!!
❤ Fun is in the little things. I love Disney details!
8:23 was that lamp over by what is now Tropical Hideaway and what was an Aladdin stage/theater? I feel like this unlocked a memory for me 😆
Enjoyed it. But you missed one thing right across from the shooting gallery that is one quarter. Go to the back of banaza outfitters and there is a player orchestreon.
Esmeralda and Fortune Red are also a quarter
Please come visit California’s Great America in Santa Clara. You would love it Chris 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Shooting gallery (exposition) is so nostalgic for me. Did you know they used to shoot real pellets but was too much for Disney to repaint the targets all the time.
I used to love the wax figure machines dang I’m old lol
Have you ever done a video on the pressed pennies of Disneyland & DCA and where to find them? They make for cool and inexpensive souvenirs
In the Early 90 to 94's in the UK Best Pinball Machines was the DR Who and Addams Family movie pinball's machines.
Hey Chris! isn’t there a music one in a store behind the Adventureland Bazar Store?
Excellent idea for a video. We will do them all when we visit in November. And free shooting exposition??? What????
I like to put mine in the quarter machine on the cruise ship😂😂
You’re an awesome 😎 CZcams channel.
a quarter can get you 17 minutes and 41 seconds of content at Disneyland whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat
You missed that music playing machine in Frontierland
If you pay a ton of money to get in... most of these things you can do elsewhere for free admission. Bass Pro and I'm sure other stores have the shooting galleries. Most cities now have places like 1984 Dave and Buster or other arcades that have pinball. For the cost of going to Disney for 4 you could buy a pinball machine for your game room!
Love your videos, Chris! I was surprised to see the t-shirt one guest was wearing at the 12:09 mark in the video. Disneyland needs to do a better job of not allowing this type of thing.
Chris is a regular Pinball Wizard!
Technically, you can’t do anything at Disneyland with just $0.25 because of the ridiculous admission price 😂
Also great video Chris hope you are doing well!
How much do you think the Indiana Jones pinball machine will go for once they retire and auction it off?
You can go to the wishing well and wish for more money lol
In the penny arcade the little movie machines only cost a PENNY! Which is amazing cuz you can’t even get a gumball for a penny anymore. It’s hard to think of anything that costs a penny! I’m kinda surprised they haven’t stopped making Pennie’s now that I think about it, ha. But I’m glad they do:
You forgot the dancing Pinocchio
Next time bring Jimmy Good with you to be the camera guy while you’re playing. I think you two are a great duo!
Do you ever go to Quarters in SLC? They have a bunch of pin ball machines and one is Indiana jones. It’s pretty fun.
Oh I have 💙💚
Hi 👋 I hope you are doing well and that everything is going well for you and that you're having a happy week and a happy evening 🌆 and a happy night 🌉😴. I also hope you had a good time on this trip 😊 and I hope you have a good time on your next trip whenever you go on it.
Thanks for liking my comment 😁☺️.
The shooting range was my daughter and my favorite.
She and I would compete to see who could get the target for the ghost rider in the sky.
You forgot New Orleans Square in Pieces of Eight Getting your fortune red by Pirate Red. Why didn't you also when you were in the Penny Arcade stop at Esmeralda, and the other games?
Provost, do you live in California? Or do you fly to California every time you do a video?
Who still carries change Chris!?!😂
I do 🤪
😁😁🤣🤣🤣💙💚
If you love pinball you must know Addams family is the best pinball machine ever!
YOU FOR GOT TO GOTO ESMERLDA AT THE PENNY ARCADE. SHE READS YOUR FORTUNE.
Shrunken Ned’s mouth usually moves when he talks. It must be kinda broken. Glad you can still get the little card tho!
In nineteen eighty five you could get a cheerio for a quarter
The Shrunken Ned machine was broken...pretty bad for Disney.
So, to be clear, you can only buy ONE thing in Disneyland for a quarter- one turn on a strength testing machine.
15:20
Think you mean a quarter after you've spent hundreds to park and get in lol
Correct 💙🤣💚😁
12:08 Man wearing a highly inappropriate t shirt by Disneyland standards. Apparently slipped past security and CMs who were unaware of the meaning. So disgusting for someone to make that choice.
