    This is amazing! I bet that string would be even more impressive with the Barracuda 21s. I believe the regulator on my gun just broke in after 2000 plus shots the other day. I'm now getting similar results with the CP. Thanks again for another awesome video!

    Very nice , I really like your approach and the fact you take the time to discuss how to go at it without a ton of specialized tools. I’ve tried to duplicate your results and had some difficultly, going to relieve the barrel port, and see what happens. Keep working the gun ‘cause it’s really strong.

    Brother you are spot on. Value for dollar...you would be hard pressed to do better for the money. Exceptional guns for the money hands down. I can’t wait to see what the Air Venturi Avenger gives us in .25. So very excited.

    Hi there, I did something similar with a at44 long QE using a Audrius regulator set to 115 bar and I follow the advice from some experienced guys from GTA and airgunation I was able to get 70 usable shots inside the regulator pressure around 825 -830 FPS was a almost flat line just amazing.For better accuracy less speed is better around 825 FPS is the max for a 14.3gr and also they help me to understand that to find a better air usage we need to find the “Plato” between Regulator pressure and hammer tension, you are doing a terrific job on this rifle but I think you can get more shots inside the regulator pressure using the same 14.3gr if you decrease the velocity and the air pressure regulator, probably 100 usable shots.

    I think that is one of the best pellets Crosman has. I normally shoot domed pellets but I can't find the Crosman Premier domed ones locally to try so I just stuck with the hollow points. I didn't want to pay freight on one can of pellets.

  • @elcues

    What scope and rings are you using ? Someone else asked about a year ago about the scope change. My dilemma is I can't get the right combination for height and location for eye relief and the loading port access. Putting a scope on an air rifle has more challenges than a firearm.I have purchased two scopes that won't work on my gauntlet or liberty. I like the 44mm lens. One of mine the thickness of the front lens cover housing is just enough it hits the breach block and shroud. It is a UTG 3-12x44 w 30MM tube.Compact Tactical Rifle Scope illuminated.SCP3-UM312AOIEW I thought this would be the berries but too short to get the right movement back and fourth combo with the ring position.Mid height rings calculated right but the front lens cover fitted onto the scope housing doesn't clear the breach block or shroud. With your experience. I figured you may have encountered this problem once or twice yourself.
    Thank You:

    • @AirVelocitySport
      @AirVelocitySport  Před 4 lety

      The scope used in the video is the Discovery 6-24 vtt scope with Discovery mid rings. I now use the Discovery 5-30 HD 34mm tube with same rings. I have no problem because of the adjustable stock I made. Now I do have the same problem on my kral puncher jumboit does not have an adjustable cheek piece so I have to use padding with a wrap to get the correct height.when there is no adjustable cheek piece it makes it very difficult to get the correct eye relief and height. I'm now in the process of making an adjustable stock for my kral puncher jumbo

    • @heathhalfhill6401
      @heathhalfhill6401 Před 4 lety

      4350 psi fill does get a lot more shots but from my experience, 3600 psi fill gives you the most consistent shots and I refill when the pressure falls to 2400 psi. Because a max fill seems to affect the velocity a bit as in slower pellet speeds are what I have personally noticed. In the defence of the gun, I have the regulator opened up the whole way and the hammer spring maxed out for pushing slugs at the moment. Currently, if I put a 15.89-grain pellet in the gun and shoot it from 3600 psi fill it will Chrono at 1080 fps but if I fill the gun to 4350 psi the velocity will drop down to the mid 800s...most likely something that I've done and not the guns fault. AVS aka the banker would be more knowledgable on this issue I'm sure. I'm still wet behind the ears in the PCP world and have a lot to learn. But my guess would be my regulator is opened too far to work effectively maybe...I don't know for sure. What I do know for sure is the velocity does start to decrease when my gun gets below 2400 psi currently and when I fill above 3600 psi. Hope this helps you.

      Remember, to not over work this little compressor. In the beginning it will fill your tanks fast because the orings are new. Over time as the orings wear it will fill slower. At that point you will have to service the compressor and change the orings. I run it about 20 minutes at time using very cold water.

    Can I set 900fps at L point in this gun
    And what fps I can get on high H point
    Is it right ?

    • @AirVelocitySport
      @AirVelocitySport  Před 4 lety +1

      Depending on the pellet you are using, how high you set the regulator and how high you shim the hammer spring you should be able to set high on 980fps with a 18grain and maybe 820fps on low. But each gunnis different and how you set the regulator versus hammer spring will make a big difference. You will have you do trial and error to get it where you want it. Bottom line this gun is very flexible.
