Buy sony ex255ap i assure that you will not be disappointed. That will be the best earphone you can buy under 2000 according to me. I have used both of these but nothing is that much of great as Sony.
It has serious paint issue, my earphone's paint started fading after 1 month

The e10c has high impedance (46ohms) that's why it doesn't sound that good on a phone.....need a dedicated dac or quad dac (lg phones) to hear it's true quality. Besides, soundmagic earphones usually need a burn in period of about 7-10 days at 70 percent volume before using them
Bro a computer already has a dedicated dac. So you dont need a lg phone. He said it already about it that e10c sounds better when you use it with computer or laptop.
@@enryuyt3826 kall meant to say its their OHms i have e80c other than LG phones no phone can give them enough power to reach potential or else u will need Usb c dac in phone. Sound magic are audiophile earphones u need good dacs for them. Lg have premium dedicated dacs unlike other phones.

I have the philips one, its good but softer. It is good at instrument seperation and good mids and okay highs. Get foam tips with it for better experience. (Summary:- well balanced audio coupled with FiiO Btr5)

Soundmagic e10c is not flat, not even close, neither of these are flat. Both have boosted signature in one or the the other way. Mids / Vocal are not not that forward in sound magic, That flatness u experience in sound magic earphones may be due to the higher impedance ( some of sound magic ones has around 50 ohms which might be harder to drive)

A review for e11c please
I own both the earphones and I have to say that the soundstage on RHA is slightly better, but according to the sound signature I found both of them to be Bass Heavy(not like cheap earphones) & they don't sound flat at all. Personally, I have experienced that due to lower impedance RHA sounds much better in using normal smartphones but when it comes to PC's or Laptops, they always do have far better Audio capacitors in their motherboards than smartphones & so they can able to power higher some high impedance headphones, I agree with you that PC's & Laptops doesn't sound great by default, but that happens if we use a lower impedance earphone without any proper equalization in PC. But coming to the topic, soundmagic E10c simply smokes RHA when it comes to audio in PC as it has more impedance & a PC can deliver the power required by it, so it can play louder & more clear.
But still, I felt something is missing, either RHA is emphasizing on the HIGHs or Soundmagic is doing something wrong. And trust me, I found that RHA is far from sounding flat & SoundMagic have recessed MIDS. So I tried equalizing it to sound very flat by following a website "Audioreferenceanalyzer" . Boom, though now I don't have my RHAs still I can say that after equalizing my Soundmagics to produce more flat sound by equalizing the opposite of the factory default signature, they sound much more better in terms of highs, mids & bass(Cause I turned the midbass down from soundmagic)

@@maheshray123 RHA no doubt, I don't know about your ears but Soundmagic is a little fatiguing for my ears...but if your priority is meeting then Soundmagic provides a very good microphone, RHA mic just sounds like some 600-700 earphones...so for all rounder go for RHA, For mic go for Soundmagic

@@lotoftech thanks man. Also which song did you check these on? 😅 If you can name one. I've trying to find which genre does these RHA perform good on. They certainly don't work for trap, edm, hip hop, house, etc. As suggested I watched Godzilla on these and the experience was good for the most part. Separation, sound stage, imaging, stereo on point. Tough every time the Beasts screamed the earphones would crackle very badly. As if the 8mm driver wasn't born to handle this bassheavy frequencies. Headphonezone is refusing any sort of return or store credit so I guess I gotta live with these and start loving them🤣

I didn't liked e10c, rha is good for comfort due to small size, xb55ap is good for bass lovers but slightly bigger in size . Make your decision accordingly.

Rha is warm and balanced and rich, can listen for long hours, bass is not overdone but is noticable even though it doesn't suppress or muffle anything that much( wouldn't say its clean or accurate but it is fun to listen).You will not be disappointed if this is your first pair over 1k.I havent heard cx275, if its anything like cx213 or cx180, its must be quite nice except for the slightly harsh high end. Rha is definitely better built and it may have a more acceptable sound which appeal to masses and hence a safer bet.

My opinion of e10c matches yours.
I guess the reason you found soundmagic are relatively low in audio quality because the mobiles that you have used doesnot have dedicated Quad DAC.
I am not sure about it.
But i noticed clear audio quality difference when used in mobiles which doesnot have Quad Dac. And Soundmagic is exceptional if you have mobile with Quad Dac

E11c has better highs and more defined bass, so for some genres it works better. Even so wouldn't call it better/an upgrade over the other, different sound signature so bolis down to what u like, ( E11c is an improvement over e10 c better in all ways)

Being a owner of RHA MA390U, I ordered this with utmost excitement.
When I have the firsthand real life experience I was quite disappointed with it's sound signature as I USED to have Sony MDR-XB55.
Yes, I'm obsessed with branding and that extra bass and artificial punchiness .
But after burning(RHA) for a month intensively with pink and white noise I come to taste the real sweetness in the ears.
Well neutralized and very balanced sound signature wich means you can get meticulously detailed sound quality when it compare between these two.
It(RHA) has Bass too!
After using along with wavelet EQ, it's like too woow!.
Skeptically musing....better go for RHA MA390U.
