Absolutely the same. Its kind of a rare darling in films. Somthing you think is going to be meh and turns out pretty amazing. I'm mean sure it had its flaws but it was a really fun movie to watch very charming well acted and just easy to get into and enjoy.

GURL YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MANY TIMES I HAD REPLAYED THAT SCENE! Also the many times I have, I noticed that they are in a private room because 1. nobody is around them and 2. it is a small space. Why else would they be in such a small space if it wasn't for a private dance? Additionally, in the reflection of the 2 mirrors, you can see a wall corner (left mirror) and what I assume is a curtain (right mirror).

Really hoping to see Cecily Alistair from the books in the film as well - for the non-readers, Cecily is a young girl, quite intelligent and politically engaged, and the person Enola most frequently refers to positively and with the term "soulmate" in the books.

I'm really hoping to see her too! I love Cecily and really want to see her on screen (and just more of her in general). I’m actually pretty bummed out that this movie sequel is looking like it’s a completely new story, rather than an adaptation of the second book (Because the Left-Handed Lady was really good and I loved everything about it). I’m still going to watch it, looks like it’ll be fun. Just hope that, if Cecily is in this story, they don’t change her to much (or at all).

I was pleasantly surprised how much I loved the first film. The light tone and acting was stellar. The story and direction was perfect for this sort of fare. The production design and editing style really helped make this one of the best Netflix original films so far. So I’m dying to see this next film. I love me some Eleven, but Enola Holmes rules!!!

Enola tensed, gasping, turning around to look at her surroundings. One second she'd been curled up in the armchair in her brother's library, the next she saw standing in this hallway. The floor wasn't hardwood, it was some strange whitish-gray material. No warm yellow kerosene lamps, here, the lights were white and bright.
Then, up ahead, someone turned the corner. A young man, wearing a thickly padded green vest, long green pants, and a white collarless shirt with short sleeves.
They stared at each other for approximately five seconds. Then, the man shouted: "Hey! Who are you?! You're not allowed to be down here!"
Enola did the first thing she could think of- she ran.
Behind her, she heard footsteps as the man gave chase, shouting "INTRUDER! INTRUDER!"

Enola panted heavily as she ran through the too-brightly-lit hallways. In a desperate move to prevent overheating, she shucked off her waistcoat as she ran, leaving her in only her undershirt and bloomers. She could hear the footsteps and shouts behind her, unerring: _”INTRUDER! INTRUDER!”_
Desperately, Enola made a sudden right turn, finding herself in another hallway- this one taller and wider than any other, leading to an absolutely massive door.
Another shout: “INTRUDER! HEADED FOR THE BIOMATERIAL LABS!”
Enola lunged forward, trying to find a way to open the doors- she spotted a small pad in the shape of a human hand and slapped it, only to recoil when an odd, artificial voice purred: “Welcome, Madison Russell.” Enola had a few seconds to be shocked before the doors rolled up into the ceiling, and a wave of cold, flesh-scented air hit her. Then, she got a glimpse at the contents of the room.
One of the first things I watched when I first subscribed to Netflix was Enola Holmes. I can't wait to see more of her adventures.
The first one was so well done. I cant wait to see what she does next.

Damn! I'm so happy this is coming next month!!! The first one was so good and Henry Cavil and Millie Bobby Brown have such great chemistry. As does Helena Bonham Carter and Millie: those two just shine when together. Add a moody 1890's atmosphere, fabulous costumes, a solid script and the same director from the first one, this could even be better!!!
