Hello! My name is Candy Styles. My fathers name is Les Styles. I was relations of Tracey and Gary Hacket. Actually we had a lot of family members who was raised in keresley. I was born in number 50 Thompson Road. I use to love waking upto the cows and sheep that congregated at the bottom of our garden. And I loved walking through the blue bells in the woods that I to use to play in as much as possible. It was beautiful around Thompsons Road. Then my father brought the house at Shaftbury Avenue. But my heart always stayed with Thompson Road. Such a delightful, pleasent street.

Thanks for the tour. It’s been many years (54-69) since I lived there. I remember the farm at the end of Thompson’s Rd. I used to deliver papers around these area. Foot and Mouth raised its ugly head and I always had to dip my shoes in disinfectant.
