I’m 79 years old(female) and when I see all those stairs that you climb all the time it simply amazes me because stairs are the last thing I want to climb anymore -….. I hope you are always able to maintain or get around that enormous home of yours. I sold my two bedroom two bath home that I built in 1987 in 2020 because it just became too much for one person to deal with. I’m living in a, one story villa NO STAIRS 😄…. you are blessed to have the ability to get around as well as you do - - even though I don’t really know how old you are. I am assuming you are in your mid 70s. I do enjoy watching your videos and seeing how much you truly enjoy living in your home in Mexico.

Yes on the egg noodles! And show what you top them with. 3 ideas from a friend-1. Rig a net under your tree to catch the falling avocados 2. Do a 1/3 trim of your tree over 3 years to bring down the overall height 3. Put the Merlin free app on your phone to identify your birds around your house by sound.

You post it we'll watch it...enjoyed this video. Like to see you make guacamole. I grew up eating avocadoes like apples, loved them and was lucky enough to have them growing all around me. In my 20's, about 50 years ago, I developed an allergy to them, a nasty one that caused me to vomit for 24 hours straight...had to make myself sick many times to accept it; since then I've met several people with the same affliction, it's evidently common amongst those who also grew up eating them. Still I enjoy seeing others enjoy them.

Shop for a sunscreen fabric you could arrange at a slant so the falling avocados slide off or catch and don't break.

Jerry that tour pointing at the mountains was just phenomenal, I am one of those persons that enjoys nature, hiking and admiring the surroundings. I always wonder how far are the mountains in the horizon and what are their names. What I enjoyed the most was your information about where in the horizon is the volcan de fuego de Colima. Greetings from Southern California. I have followed your channels almost since the beginning. As a side note, I am about to retire and go back to Mexico/Jalisco after almost 40 years in the USA.

We replaced the volleyball net at the park in Chapala a few years ago. I brought the old one home and tied it up to not only catch the avocados, but to roll them to the kitchen door. I'm retired. Too much time on my hands. :)

Hey Jerry! I was wondering if you created the Avocado picker? YES on the recipes... Which reminds me I need to look up your recipe for layered Chile Rellenos again... Love that recipe!! I loved this video because I am always curious how the Mexican people come up with such lovely ART when it comes to building things like patios... I'm so sorry, I wasn't trying to push your buttons. I was just curious about how things might work outside of our country. We are getting a large hot tub installed shortly, and have to go thru that BUREAUCRATIC NIGHTMARE u speak of.
I was not accusing you of pushing my button. You just reminded me of what did in long years of owning rental real estate, and dealing with building, electrical, and plumbing codes. Code enforcement officers who always seemed to un-necessarily flex their bureaucratic muscles. So much nicer to no longer deal with a nanny State. Hope your hot tub install goes smoothly. :)
@@JCTravelStoriesno building code enforcement so water doesn't flow all day much less it being drinkable. Or small quakes take down whole Ciudad Mexico neighborhoods. It's so bad to the point where some even own homes in both countries 😉 just to cover their bases. Ah if only life had no compromises, or at least a sincere comparison of them.

Try Airbnb and VRBO. Lots of places in lots of price ranges. Also, many of the for sale real estate companies you can find online have rental desks.

Mostly I use an iPhone 13 for video. I edit with an iPad. Lots of editing software at the App Store. The one I use is no longer available. I've had GoPros, gimbals, Akaso action cameras, drones. Other CZcamsrs I admire taught me to just keep it simple. Phones these days can do it all unless you have the time, energy and motivation to do real cinematography. I don't. If you're just starting a channel …. Use what you have.
