Problem with fuel pump timing

The alignment tool can be installed in an improper reverse way, according to the X260 manual chapter "FUEL PUMP CAMSHAFT TIMING CHECK".
Is it possible that you assembled incorrectly the tool ?

Try spinning the fuel pump 180 degree I believe that should work.

Does the fomoco letters are downward?
