ake sure you have all the info needed to put back on the programs you lose, serial codes, websites to re-download the programs, Drivers and driver websites to download them too. Yes this looks so simple, but, to get it back up to where you lost control does take time. keep a running text file of what you have installed and if you need drivers and websites to get the programs and drivers, this is also handy instead of having to think, what did I use.

@@CrownGEEK The PC lenovo AIO had to be forced to be shutdown more than three times due to the windows update of May 2024 not updating properly. Means update tries to install but during restart for more than three hours 'preparing windows ready' message remains on screen. As a result had to force shutdown. Due to force shutdown OS drive must have gone corrupt.
Under the circumstances if I reinstall Win 10 as per this video, will it automatically format and reinstall Windows or not.
If not what should I do.
