- In this tutorial, I will teach you how to play Mario Kart Arcade GP 1 & 2 along with ANY GameCube game. This video is specifically covering the Mario Kart Arcade Games since I have received many requests on a tutorial on how to play them, but this will apply to any GameCube game.
What you'll need
•Wii (WILL NOT WORK WITH WII MINI)
•SD Card up to 64GB
•Wii Classic Controller or GameCube controller

@@Demeech how do I rename? I didn’t get that part well. Also when I try to rename an ISO i don’t get the option to do that. All I get is open, cut, copy, delete and properties.

For some reason when I load Nintendont on my Wii it says that no games can be found. I followed the steps correctly when it comes to the folders and naming the actual (game) file but i still can't get it to work. Help Please

There's a different method to install the Homebrew Channel, but yes it should work.

Does it run the games at full speed? I know that using an SD via the memory card slot of the GameCube makes your performance take a hit, so is the SD slot of the Wii any better?

I tried this with smash bros melee and ultimate spiderman the same way and when I went to open ultimate spiderman or smash bros it would just give me a black screen. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Y'all i actually did this the day after nintendo closed the Wii Shop Channel, it is safe to do it as long as you follow instructions
I got given a wii and wii u the other day and been thinking about getting a gamecube to play loads of games i loved way back when, been playing them on dolphin emu .. But now no need as using the wii with a wii game pad I paid £1.49 for in charity shop and got a original game cube controller on order (for that original feel) great vid and simple to follow guide. tnx. now to play the 200+ roms Ive got over the last few months.. then maybe get the other 400 ish?

Memcard emulation is just to save your game ON the SD card. Disable it if you want to use a real memory card.
It worked for me but loaded in black and white? Might be an av connection but idk it returned to the homebrew channel just fine with color

i have a question (not sure if ill get an answer but here we go) so i did everything right and some games work but mario sunshine and pac-man world 3 wont get past loading screens and im not sure why, please help.
The problem is likely the roms themselves. Try replacing both of the roms you have in your SD card/USB stick with a new ones acquired from somewhere else on the internet. Maybe Vimm’s Lair has higher quality offerings? It’s always worth a shot, I hope this helps you.
Could I nab the gamecube game off of Vimms or would I have to go and search for the actual game file and shit.

You can use the Wii u or switch gamecube controller adapter too!

@@Demeech I haven't tested it but I believe that it will work. The only issue is that then you can't load games off of a USB Drive. Also, on Wii u you can use a Wii u pro controller.
Edit: I tested the adapter on my original Wii and could traverse the nintendont menu (all my games are on USB and the adapter takes all the slots). I would assume that it works on the family edition too. However the homebrew channel doesn't allow you to use the adapter.

@Demeech I have tried this over a dozen times step by stepand I cannot get it right. Nintendont can not find any files on the USB. I believe the issue could be the file type "Disc Image File" while other video creators are using ISO files. I know you cant tell me where to find files but can you tell me how to convert them from a DIF or RVK to ISO. I am pulling out my hair!

I managed to get Sunshine up and running using this guide, however when I tried adding more games, they do not show up in Nintendonts game menu. I followed the exact steps, and named the games "game TTYD", "game ZWW" etc. None of them are showing up in Nintendont, just the Sunshine game that I added at first.
You need to rename those "game TTYD", "game ZWW" to just game and put them in the folder. He says to rename them so you don't lose them as they would all be named "game" and you wouldn't know which is which
At least you can play sunshine, mine detects the game and shuts down the wii controllers.

I did everything on this video , downloaded rom , made folder with actual name and renamed rom just “game” but when i insert the SD card back in wii and boot up homebrew and launch nintendont , the files wont show up . What am i doing wrong?
