We Desperately Need to Hear What Jesus Said in Mark 10: The Mark Series pt 34 (10:1-12)

  • People in Jesus' time had a bad attitude about marriage, just like today. They seemed to think it was a person's right to divorce whenever they decided they wanted to, just like today. But Jesus corrected this by pointing them toward the nature of marriage and showing that marriage it a holy and wonderful union that God Himself has created. Jesus takes away their excuses and calls them to get back to the heart of marriage rather than seeking excuses to divorce. It was a message people desperately needed to hear at the time, just like today.

To many believe that constant happiness is the right and goal and the marker of a “good” marriage. My wife a believer still thinks this from time to time. We cannot humanly achieve this. We cannot even come within a 100 miles of that expectation with out Christ in the center. We have bought the worlds lie that unless your spouse makes you happy and fulfills your desires and expectations fully they have failed you.

sometimes I think pastors and the like are over educated. I remeber a few years ago, reading some of the old laws, and came across that phrase, like Mike just read from Deuteronomy 'it shall be an inheritance to you.' one day it just clicked. You only inherit something when the one who owns it dies. Even there in the OT, the death of God, in the form of Jesus was prophesied. I brought this up to one of my pastors, and he just kinda nodded and went ya, so he already knew about it, yet I have never heard anyone preach on that idea or even reference it.
Edit: Also about the sanctity of marriage, and we should not be divorced, let us follow Gods example, He often uses marriage terminology and comparisons between Himself and us, by this point He would have had every right to divorce us, but in love He always stays with us.

That's because God made an everlasting covenant between Himself and Abraham to NEVER leave Israel. God's faithfulness to keeping His promises is beyond human comprehension. And one day every knee will bow because of it. That is why Hosea married Gomer - a prostitute, to show that love is not dependent on rules and regulations but upon how much someone is willing to bear with another's flaws. If we divorce someone over small, yet justifiable things then that just shows us how small our love is.

In marriage, God has given us the gift of procreation. This is our opportunity to create a new human to become a new citizen of the Kingdom of God! If two marry in obedience to Christ, the Holy Spirit will equip them with the resources necessary to lead their children to Jesus Christ! So sex is a beautiful thing within Godly marriage, because it's the means by which we create new life for the Kingdom of God. But if two procreate outside of marriage, there is danger of the child not finding Christ and so being condemned for sin. It should be completely clear to us why God takes sex and marraige so seriously!

****Reposting because I want your feedback ***
Hey Mike. Firstly, this is a tough subject so kudos for tacking it. To be transparent, I have not heard the full audio of your hour long presentation on divorce, but let me lay out my understanding:
    * Matthew 5, 19 - Jesus give only one reason for Divorce: Porneia. This was correctly translated as "fornication" in the King James. How can a married couple fornicate? This is only possible if the woman has relations during the betrothal period. This is why the disciples think it is better not to marry. Even if your wife commits adultery, you CANNOT divorce her. Matthew was written to a Jewish audience who would understand the betrothal period.
    * Luke 16 - Gospel written to gentiles and has no exception for divorce
    * Mark 10 - Jesus does not answer the Pharisee's question of divorce. In private, He tells his disciples that there is no exception for Divorce.
Paul in Romans 7 - A married woman is bound by law to her husband and if she remarries while he is still alive, she is called an adulteress.
Paul in 1 Cor 10 - Wife should not leave her husband, but if she leaves, she cannot remarry
Paul in 1 Cor 13 - if an unbeliever leaves, let them leave. The brother or sister is not under bondage. (Does this passage CLEARLY give grounds for divorce?)
As far as the new testament, if someone is going to base their case for divorce based on their "understanding" of the word "under bondage", I think it is a big mistake. How can we ignore all the clear passages that deny divorce as an options, and cling to an unclear passage. Let's keep in mind that divorce was not allowed until the reformers came along. For 1500 years, the Church clearly understood that Jesus has removed divorce as an option.
    Thoughts?
By the way, you are doing a great job teaching the body of Christ (even if I disagree with you on some points!!).

It's very sad and tragic for so many women and men who are blindsided by their spouse's adultery. The impact the betrayed spouse is enormous and the consequences on the family (children, extended family) is sometimes too much to bear.

The divorce and remarriage for adultery doctrine is based solely on the supposed guilt of the wife in Matthew 5:32, and Matthew 19:9. However, the wife in Matthew 5:31-32 is clearly not guilty of fornication because the Jews that Jesus was speaking to were still living under the law, and if fornication was discovered, there was a moral obligation to report the offender according to Deuteronomy 22:13-24. The wife, who would have been found guilty of fornication, was subsequently stoned to death, according to the law, which had still governed the Jews up until Christ's death on the cross. The same for a woman caught in adultery, according to Leviticus 20:10. How could a wife, guilty of fornication, or adultery, under the law of Moses, be given a writing of divorcement and be caused to commit adultery with whosoever marries her, that is divorced? Jesus is clear, in these examples, that the wife is not guilty of fornication, but is still caused to commit adultery if she marries another man now that she is divorced. This is the only way that Matthew 5:31-32, and Matthew 19:9 keep harmony with Romans 7:2-3, and 1 Corinthians 7:39.
Unlike the synoptic gospels of Mark and Luke, which were written to evangelize the Gentiles, Matthew was written to the Jews, and has of 24 characteristics that identify it as intended for the house of Israel.
The ancient Jews called the betrothed (engaged) "husband" and "wife" according to Deuteronomy 22:23-24, Matthew 1:18-25, and Luke 2:5-7.
Deuteronomy 24:1-4 (Moses's precept of divorce and remarriage) was never for fornication or adultery. Allowing those guilty of fornication and adultery to remain living and become a prospect for remarriage was against the law of Moses in Deuteronomy 22:13-24 and Leviticus 20:10, which commanded that those who were found guilty of fornication and adultery be put away from Israel, and stoned to death.
The law of Moses was not given to the world, only to the Jews. From the exodus, to Christ's death on the cross, the law of Moses governed the Jewish people. But when Jesus died on the cross, he caused the Jews to be dead to the law of Moses so they could be joined to Christ under a New Covenant. This is what Jesus's fulfillment of the law of Moses, including Deuteronomy 24:1-4 (Moses's precept of divorce and remarriage), means. Paul gave several warnings to Christian believers against keeping the law of Moses over following Christ and his commands under the New Covenant with Christ. Keeping the whole law is no longer possible for those in Israel and that is why Christ prophesied that the temple would be destroyed. These scriptures make it clear that if you choose the law over Christ, that you must keep the whole law: Romans 7:4, Galatians 3:1-9, Galatians 3:10-29, Galatians 4:1-7, Galatians 4:21-31, and Galatians 5:1-15.
Being unequally yoked to unbelievers is not a cause for divorce, once two become one-flesh in a covenant of marriage, according to 1 Corinthians 7:12-14. Many one-flesh covenant marriages between unbelievers are recognized by God in the scriptures, most notably the marriage covenants between Herodias and King Herod's brother Philip, Potiphar and his wife, Ahab and Jezebel, and Ruth to her deceased husband Mahlon by Boaz when he took her to be his wife.
Some are teaching that 1 Corinthians 7:15 implies that those who are abandoned by the unbeliever, are "no longer bound" in a one-flesh covenant of marriage. The reason this is in conflict is due to the way they word it, which gives it an entirely different meaning, and context. 1 Corinthians 7:15, says, "15But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace." As you can see, the actual scripture says "not under bondage," which means that the husband or wife is not enslaved to sin with the unbelieving spouse, and is free to worship Christ in peace. Subsequent translations have changed the words to imply that they nullify the marriage covenant, when this is not at all the case. The issue that this creates is with 1 Corinthians 7:10-11, which says, "10And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: 11But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife." As you can see, those who claim 1 Corinthians 7:15 has the Apostle Paul giving permission to remarry do not understand that the abandoned husband in 1 Corinthians 7:11 is expected to also remain unmarried, in order to be reconciled with his wife. The theory that 1 Corinthians 7:15 nullifies two as being one-flesh in marriage puts the Apostle Paul directly at odds with Christ, by implying that he has issued an opposing command.
Some also teach that 1 Corinthians 7:27-28 is referring to both divorced men, and virgin women, and not exclusively to men and women (virgins) who have never been married. This has been falsely taught for some time in churches as referring to anyone who is not currently in a marriage, which, for them, also includes those who are divorced. This is a very false assumption, and puts these verses in a different context, that is at odds with both the teachings of Christ and the apostle Paul. We see Paul refer to virgins, which signifies the unmarried who have never before been wed, which is the proper context here. We see Paul saying clearly that it is good for virgins, which is also speaking to never before wed men here, "that it is good for a man so to be." He goes on to say, "Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife." Who is he referring to here? Men who, like himself, have never married. The word "bound", in these verses, is a clear reference to betrothal (engagement) and not to a one-flesh covenant of marriage. The ancient Jews were considered bound as husband and wife during the betrothal (espousal/engagement) before becoming one-flesh in a covenant of marriage, through consummation. This is affirmed by the context of the term "bound" seen in Numbers 30:14-16.
The Jewish couples in ancient Israel, who were betrothed (engaged) were also bound together until death, either by execution for fornication, or by other causes. Then Paul says, "But and if thou marry, thou has not sinned", which is who? The men who had never married in the congregation at Corinth. So he begins with verses 25-26 speaking exclusively to men that have never married. Paul then says, "and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned", which is speaking directly about virgin women who have never been married, within the congregation, not divorced women. Notice that verse 34 says, "There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband." Paul speaks plainly when he says "there is a difference between a wife and a virgin." Paul goes on to say, "But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry." This is speaking of a virgin who has become of age to bear children when it says, "let them marry." This is a clear command, to a single man, who has taken a virgin to be his wife. Paul then says, "Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well." This is referring again to the single man who decides it is better not to marry, but to stay betrothed (engaged), under the present distress, by saying that he "hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin." Paul then says, "So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth her not in marriage doeth better", which again means single men, in the congregation, who have betrothed a wife do well if they marry, and those who choose not to allow their virgin brides do better, under the current climate. For more proper context of the word "bound", let's look further down in this chapter to verse 39, which says, "39The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord" (1 Corinthians 7:39). For so long, these scriptures, between verses 25-38, have been twisted and used to enable divorce and remarriage, by wayward churches and teachers, and have caused many to stumble and to be trapped in unlawful unions.
The use of the woman at the well, in regard to marriage, falsely implies that Christ was endorsing remarriage after a divorce. This teaching is in defiance of Matthew 22:23-28, which shows a woman who had been widowed seven times, and entered into each subsequent marriage without any scriptural conflicts with God's law of marriage (one-flesh covenant) seen in Genesis 2:23-24.
Mark 10:1-12 is the same biblical record of Matthew 19:1-12, which both record Christ's teaching that day beyond the Jordan. There is no mention of the words "fornication", "writing of divorcement", or "divorced" in Mark's Gospel, because Mark was not written to the Jews (as Matthew's Gospel was), but to evangelize the Romans and Greeks, who had no knowledge of the law in Deuteronomy 22 or Deuteronomy 24. All of these facts draw a clear understanding that remarriage after a divorce, under the New Covenant with Christ, is a scripturally false and baseless teaching. Please use wisdom when living in any situation against what the scriptures command.

1Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? 2For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. 3So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
4Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. 5For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. 6But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter (Romans 7:1-6).
39The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord (1 Corinthians 7:39).

Mark 10:10 helps us understand Jesus's "exception clause" in Matthew. Mark 10:10 notes that Jesus then began to speak to just his disciples in private. When he was speaking in public to the Pharisees and others who did not believe in him, he gave an an exception clause. Unbelievers are held to a lower standard than believers. For 2 truly born-again Christians there is no exception given. However, if a professing Christian comes under church discipline for behaving unseemly toward his wife or her husband, refusing to repent or even acknowledge wrongdoing, that church has the right to cast them out and reckon them as an unbeliever (1 Cor. 5). "By their fruits you shall know them" (Matthew 7:16). The innocent party therefore would then be free to leave and remarry under the authority of their church's pronouncement (Matthew 18:18).

Is the progression and the order of scripture written: a hermeneutic discipline that is consistent with the consideration of being in context.
The vague ( overall view)side of this is consistent in consideration but when Jesus is teaching in the gospels, lends more towards mainly the subject and who He is speaking to than considering the progression of events.
Seeing the beginning and end from Genesis to Revelation, i plainly see the order and progression. Creation to the fall. Prophecy and lineage to Jesus, to the Messiah is made known, fulfillment of prophecy to the gospel; to the commission of disciples enacted, kingdom discipleship to the return of Jesus.
Yet within the books of the gospels is the order of the teachings of Jesus always a consideration of proper discipline to keep in context.

Though I appreciate your extensive teaching on divorce and remarriage, I respectfully disagree with some of what you're saying. The bible says the woman is bound to her husband as long as he lives but if he dies, she is free to remarry only in the Lord. But otherwise that woman should remain unmarried or go back to her husband. The husband is not to divorce his wife. Are you saying Paul is contradicting Christ? The woman who was caught in adultery was forgiven but Jesus told her go and sin no more. Was he making an exception for her wrong? We really don't know all the details with her not the man. Also the woman who had multiple husbands. Was it ok for her to stay with the one was with?
You made a statement that it didn't mean the woman couldn't have a third husband given the fact her first husband was alive and the second was dead. Help me understand this please. Christ through Apostle Paul said seek not to be loose from your wife 1 Corinthians 7. That man or woman who may be having marital problems is given permission for separation not divorce as I understand the scriptures. Fornication is different from adultery. Original context of Tyndale KJV bible said for fornication.

Mike, if you're saying that Paul intended to give second or third exceptions to the marital vows revealed by Jesus (Jesus only allowed fornication as a legitimate reason for divorce and remarriage) it is a very very presumptuous step to make here. I heard you add other exceptions with no verse to back it up. Even with the expression "under bondage" in 1 Cor. 7:15; the whole subject of vs. 12-16 is mixed marriages. The verse has to do with cases where an unbeliever is not content to stay in a marriage with a believer. Your position seems to assume (1) that " not under bondage" means complete freedom from the marital vows and (2) that remarriage is approved by God for such (no proof has been given that this is the case). And so, if you hold that a Christian who is forsaken because of their faith in Christ has a right to remarry, you are holding to something that cannot be proven positively. It is interesting to note that just like in (v.11) the next verse (v.16), Paul still refers to them as husband and wife. And to apply v.15 to divorces between Christians is to ignore Paul's instructions in v.11.

@@MikeWinger Mike, I had a good listen, especially where you deal with 1 Cor. 7:15. The word (douloo) "means to make a slave, enslave" and, hence means the loss of one's autonomy. My understanding of this, trying to keep it in context, is that the Christian is not under obligation to continue his marital obligations by running after an unbeliever who doesn't want to be with him.
Notice, "But God has called us to peace." This clause then gives support to Paul's opening statement, "if the unbeliever departs, let him depart." In such cases, God has not obligated the Christian to involve themselves in a relationship which would most likely turn into nothing but hatred and strife as they, perhaps, beg and plead to maintain a marriage which the non-believer doesn't want to keep. Hence, if he does not want to maintain the marriage, let him go.
(v.16)The Christian is not obligated to subject himself to a life of bitterness and strife in the hope that he will one day save his mate - because that is something which he has absolutely no guarantees of.
"Of such cases" means "of this kind or sort, such." What kind of cases are "such cases"? The context would appear to demand he is dealing with cases where a non-believer, for whatever reason, is not content to continue with a Christian in marriage. Obviously, not like (v.11) Paul can't counsel or command an unbeliever to "remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband". It wouldn't even reach deaf ears, never mind fall on them!
Nor does Paul counsel the believing spouse to give a certificate of divorce. I'm working on the basis, "Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus" i.e. by His authority (Col. 3:17). In other words, we must have scriptural authority for what we do and teach. And, silence of scripture is prohibitive, not permissive. But again, like (v.11), you can't ignore the fact that they are still referred to as husband and wife in v.16. Plus, what Jesus taught in the gospels wasn't quite what his Jewish audience was expecting either. Even the disciples found it extreme!

Once again Mike you leave those with questions about living in adultery with unanswered nonbiblical opinions of your own. This happens in churches many times over as one spouse develops a relationship with another spouse in church, ends up divorcing their own wife/husband and runs off to marry their adulterous mate. You have said numerous times since it is a marriage now, that it should not be undone. You are giving permission for couples to live in sin mainly adultery. You cannot bring yourself to say that repentance needs to happen and adulterous couples should not be married to each other. The message of Christ is being watered to the point where sin is permissible in its ongoing state. This is not being a light to the world. This is plan compromise to the affections of the world. God's word tells us to flee sexual immorality not stay in it. Whether your single or married involved in sexual immorality the message is plain as day. Isaac S Romans 7 doesn’t mention divorce at all. There’s no reason to project “if she divorces her husband” into what Paul wrote. The point of his analogy is even stronger given the description of a woman who marries another man while she is already married to her living husband. It has not bearing on the issue of divorce because it’s an analogy that doesn’t involve divorce.
I have my long teaching video where I give reasons for my views on these things and I’ll have to reference you to that because I am not able to go back and forth in comments very much. I know you’ve seen that video because we’ve interacted there a bit as well but I will say that when I hear you summarizing my views it is often a weakened version of my views and not my actual views which I’ve laid out in detail in that video

    • @IsaacSteele
      @IsaacSteele Před 4 lety +1

Mike Winger, I’m sorry for taking so much of your time, but your long form video only said Romans 7 had nothing to do with divorce and remarriage even though it specifically mentions it. You didn’t address it, you just dismissed it.
It doesn’t use the word “divorce” but you have to be straining to say it’s not speaking of it.
It clearly and unequivocally says that marriage is a bond until death, not until divorce. And it follows that by saying if you remarry while your first spouse is alive, you wear the label of adulterer for as long as the first spouse is alive.
You completely dismissed it as only dealing with salvation and not remarriage. But that’s like saying Peter’s vision of unclean animals had nothing to do with our freedom from keeping kosher and strictly applies to company with gentiles. By invalidating the foundation of the point, you destroy the bigger point also.
The fact that Paul uses marriage as the foundation for his teaching on salvation in Romans 7 only strengthens the point. By saying there are other exceptions than death for divorce, you destroy his point that only death frees us from the law. That logic destroys Paul’s point that only Jesus’ death frees us from the law. If there was another way, Paul doesn’t address it and God the Father didn’t offer it when Jesus asked that the cup pass from him.

the exception is fornication, not adultery, abuse, of any shape....abandonment....the term is under bondage, not bound...imagine the disciples having heard this....hey if this is the case, with the man, with his woman, what is the big deal....after all the remarriage is just an event, that can be repented of.....this is a very serious false teaching, and I wonder how many loose their salvation, to having fallen for this lie...

It may sound very intelligent to keep explaining about the Hillel and Shammai debate, but this this is not the way to understand this subject, that debate existed but it is not even mentioned in any part of the gospels; instead, one key to understand this subject is the conflict between Jesus and the pharisees, and others leaders.

Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but fornicators and adulterers God will judge. Hebreus 13:4 The honor and sanctification of a relationship is not about "no divorce" (this is a catholic idea), instead it is about the bed, about sex, it is about not committing adultery or prostitution (fornication).

How is Jesus rejected by the Jews? He was a Jew, teaching the Torah, quoting the prophets, the law ( unlike Paul) and his followers were all Jews. The church he founded was composed of Jews. Again it was Paul that was turning Christianity into a gentile religion, the religion of Rome not Jerusalem. There were different groups of Jews not unlike different groups of Christians. Jesus was aligned with the same group as John the Baptist, the Essenes. So when the bible speaks of The Jews, this is a later attempt to appeal to gentiles. One of the first moves when the Christian church had the power of Rome behind it was to liberate the Holy lands much as Rome had destroyed the temple looted it. Enslaved Jews and pushed Jews out of the area. The Catholic church has been a player in the antisemitism that was everywhere in Europe.

Minute 40:00 and 42:00 you give 3 reasons for a justified divorce: adultery, extreme abuse and abandon; where is the Biblical base for extreme abuse being a justified reason for divorce??? I we don't need any reason for divorce but you claim that we do need reason for divorce so where scripture says about it?

@Splat the roadkill Cat I'm just showing the incoherence of these legalistic doctrines about divorce, because they claim to base their rules on the Bible, claim that their prohibitions and permission concerning divorcing are base on scripture, but I just showing their incoherence. So, you're saying common sense, okay. But we can't impose our common sense over other, everybody is free to follow their own consciousness, Rom 14:22. Common sense is morality which comes from majority, Catholic church preached morality over millennium, but the Bible doesn't stick with morality, Jesus broke many moral principles, but never broke the scripture teachings which are organics. So, we should, 1 obey the clear stated principles of the scripture, 2 obey our own consciousness.

I understand the Divorce teaching but doesn't the fact that we now live under Grace, God forgives your sin of divorce? I'm not talking about those folks who are "Serial Divorcers" I'm just asking if you are now in a Long Committed second marriage, doesn't Jesus say if you confess your sins (i.e., First divorce) he will Forgive? Divorce, in the Age of Grace does not mean you loose your Salvation. Your thoughts.

@@jeanetteberg9955 This happens in churches many times over as one spouse develops a relationship with another spouse in church, ends up divorcing their own wife/husband and runs off to marry their adulterous mate. Mike has said numerous times since it is a marriage now, that it should not be undone. Mike giving permission for couples to live in sin mainly adultery. Mike cannot bring himself to say that repentance needs to happen and adulterous couples should not be married to each other. The message of Christ is being watered to the point where sin is permissible in its ongoing state. This is not being a light to the world. This is plan compromise to the affections of the world. God's word tells us to flee sexual immorality not stay in it. Whether your single or married involved in sexual immorality the message is plain as day. FLEE, get out of it, run from it as though your house is on fire (which it is). Mike please stop misleading so many to be partners with sin.

Still missing the point. Romans 5:20-21 moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, Grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness into eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

If your remarried unbiblically your living in sin. You need to cut off the adulterous marriage and if possible reconcile with your wife/husband of your youth. The only exception to remarriage is a spouse commiting adultery, or the abandonment of a non-believer from the marriage, or death. Sounds like MikeW is making excuses for the adulterous marriages in his church.

You mentioned sanctity of marriage as a Jesus's teaching, right at the beginning of this video, but there is no such expression coming out of the mouth of Jesus ever, neither in the intire scripture, sanctity of marriage is a totally catholic teaching, a catholic idea that you may not even know you have in your head.

And that's what is mentioned in Islamic holy book ! Bibal was islamic book but it got changed many times to be for Christians That's why God sent Mohammed the latest prophet with Quran. Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world it is not because it's fake because people find it The real one and truth! And Bibal Written in kind of Story which give it high percentage to be false ! Unlike Quran Which is From god to human Directly! And the way it is written No one on earth until now could form a sentence like one in Quran I'm talking about Official language which is Arabic ... Guys i know most of you will hate me and consider me as a lier Guys Like it or not islam is the truth.

Thousands of people followed Him and listened to what He had to say. This is clear throughout the gospels. The problem was the Jews did not like what He was teaching and would leave because they were offended. If you will read further into context of all these things, then you’ll see that at a point, Jesus started to make His teaching purposely confusing as judgement on the Jews’ unbelief. He wasn’t trying to convince anyone, He simply offered them salvation, whether they took it or not was completely up to them. And it is still the same way today. You should read the gospels more closely, your problems with scripture will most likely be satisfied, and if not then ask questions to people instead of attempting to criticize God, which is a ridiculous prospect.

SJSU PA,: Jesus had a lot of followers. Multitudes followed Him. Read the Bible. He was inside a house and it got so crowded, that nobody could get inside. These guys had to tear up the roof to get in with their friend. Also, so many people wanted hear Jesus speak, on the land, that He had to get in a boat, push off into the 💧 water, and speak from there. What do you think Palm Sunday was about? You really need to get into the Bible and see for yourself......
