Beef Stir Fry With Ginger & Sesame Cooked On The Weber Spirit II E 310 Gas BBQ

  • This is one of those great recipes which literally takes just 4 - 5 minutes to cook. You can buy beef stir fry strips from the butcher so you don't have to cut up steak; try and use fillet or sirloin. Just season with some cornflour and salt and pepper.
    Pre-heat the grill to an even grilling temperature across the whole of the grill. Place the Weber GBS (Gourmet Barbecue System) wok in to pre-heat. Once up to temperature drizzle in some cold pressed rapeseed oil; drizzling it just under the rim will give the wok an even coverage. Add the steak strips and spread out in an even layer in the wok. Close the lid and cook for about 30 seconds. Turn the steak over and add the rest of the ingredients, again cook for about 30 seconds. There is no need to temperature probe the steak as it cooks really quickly. Take off when the beans still retain their crunch. To bulk this out just add some straight to wok ready cooked noodles.
