Friends on the Farm children's book written by my wife and daughter - amzn.to/3oeecHX
This time in the Montana Garage we go back in time a bit and show you how I painted the roll bar in the '55. Trust me, this was not a fun project, and it may or may not have turned out great, or terrible...
Click the links above to get all the goodies I used to recently on this project. Also, don't forget that any other shopping done after clicking the link also supports Montana Garage. Please let me know if you make a purchase, and I'll send you FREE Montana Garage stickers as a thank you! (commissions earned, Thanks!)
Plus, we now have a new Amazon store front. Links to the grinder hood, the rechargeable work light I often use, and other recommended shop tools can be found there. More will be added to the storefront soon. Check it out here! www.amazon.com/shop/montanaga....
Also, it's not too late to get the children's book starring Moose and written by my wife and daughter. It's a great gift for all those kids in your life. What kid doesn't like a book about farm animals? Please follow the link below to get your copy, or do any other shopping on Amazon and Montana Garage will receive a small commission. Thanks for your support. amzn.to/3oeecHX
Please let me know if you purchase a book and I will send you FREE Montana Garage AND Friends on the Farm stickers! It's obviously a win-win situation for you....

Thanks a ton Dave. I really do appreciate all your support!
Looks good. Even if you fail you still got it done.
Eventually.... Thanks Nolan!
I actually like the “bare metal fade to black “ look on the back part.
Me too Cory. I may sand it a bit for a better fade effect. Thanks for watching!
Good Evening Brad! Hope you are healing my friend ❗ Like your Channel! Keep Up the Great Work 👍
Thanks Gary. Much appreciated my friend. The shoulder is coming around...

I have one of those mini touch up guns would work well in your case but anyhoo looks real good as it is. Hey wheres Moose????,LOL...Glenn
Moose musta been hiding out when I filmed this one. Guess I need to look into one of those mini guns. My small one wasn't even close to working...
Nice job on the rollbar. In that situation I would have brushed on the paint. Or I would have built the rollbar so I could paint the fixed pieces before I did any finish welding and then touched up the last few welds. Look forward to seeing more. Be safe and stay well.
Thanks for the tips Brian. It was a bit of a pain doing it like this but I think it turned out great in the end.
👍👍
👊👊👊
If you use a pipe roller thin out the paint you only have to worry about the top of the bars or the stuff right next to the sides you get a little bit of orange peel in it but hardly nothing in the floor right out.

Thanks for watching and for the tip!
If it's not show car put the old glass in it and have fun bud
Thanks Todd. The old glass is fine, but it is a bit pitted, etc. so I will probably eventually replace it. Probably....
