I guess when you want it done right you just gotta go threw it. Im going on 4 years wit my eg kswap build the money i really can't think about anymore. Try to do it myself trying to get help parts back order im going threw it all but to see you get to enjoy your car in the end makes me say ill get there an my hatch is gonna be sick AF!!! Great vid🔥💪
Yeah, just little by little. Keep the motivation up. It's worth it. It's so much fun. I think I'll never be done with it. There's always something to do and to improve.

I have an EK4 which i currently have in pieces, with some serious rust damage, it gives me hope i one day can have it back on the road again, in my country the rules are stupidly strict so i have a lot of work to do, and money to spend, money which i don't have. i hope one day it can be as clean as yours

I have a k20a2 swapped ep3 rotting in my driveway ever since I got a bugeye wrx and focused on that. This video makes me wanna go get it running. But seriously though that's a sick ass EK, I love all the attention paid to stiffening up the chassis.

Workin fr continental shifts, 2hour drive one way to work, not enough tools, not enough time, not enough sleep,storages closed at 8:45pm, limited amount of money, taking care of disabled parent, almost zero help from others, freezing canadian winters, mountain of bills and stress, life is just fxckin hard, 10yrars is so realistic time to mod all parts. I have nothing but respect to all but doing all the mods and tune in 1day or a week is just so lucky. Wish I could finish mine too.
It’s not like I worked 10 years on that. I just own it that long and that’s what happened in that time. Last 5 years not much happened. I was just driving with minimal mods. But everyone gots his own pace. It’s not a race to finish the project. It’s just evolving.

Ich bin echt neidisch. :D Wenn ich das Geld hätte würde ich meinen EJ9 so gerne auch so sauber umbauen! Das muss so befriedigend sein wenn alles neu gemacht und versiegelt etc. wurde. :D So richtig bomben stabil, clean und schön. Absolut perfekt! Genau so will ich es auch irgendwann machen!

Hi Itan. Older ones were Canon EOS with a 50mm 1.8. Newer ones are Sony a6300 with vintage lenses. Mostly i used a Canon FD 50mm 1.4 on my Sony.

It is no fun anymore. It lives in the garage and i just track it on tracks nearby. I think that's the most fun like this with it.

@@subros. Ahh understandable. I live in Winterswijk. Close to you on the Dutch border. Didnt know there were so many honda's acros the border here. Never see them driving. Also during work (Lkw-fahrer in Deutschland) i never see them.

Yeah. It's not a lot of work tho. Connectors fit almost plug n play. It's so long ago. Maybe i can recreate it ^^

Sick build. I'm 18 and must have spent hundreds of hours trying to figure out how to k swap my civic. How do you actually figure out what your doing? I know the basics what's needed to perform a k swap but every day I realise something I havent taken into account and haven't got a clue about wiring it seems so confusing. Where do I start and where did you get all your knowledge from? Thanks.
Hi, thank you. Just like you. Just do it and figure it out. Forums used to be a good place to get knowledge too. But it got quite there since IG... Combine all the sources. Google/forums, oem service manuals and just learn as you do. ✌

Sehr nice ;)… viel viel Arbeit. Ich hab zwar kein k20 drin gehabt, sondern ein d16 Turbo Projekt. Aber da steckte über die Jahre ebenfalls extrem viel Arbeit drin. Was kommt als Nächstes?
Oh ja mann.... Als nächstes bisschen die Fahrbarkeit verbessern. Passendere Reifen, Sperrdiff fehlt noch, vllt mal Lack. Splitter muss leichter gebaut werden. Ist noch genug zu tun 🙂

Ich hab mir nämlich auch wieder ein Honda geholt und fahr so ein bisschen die Schiene, allerdings Low Budget und alles im Bereich des legalen und eintragbaren. Alles nur noch mit TÜV. Kein Bock mehr auf Stress.

Ja, ist nur zum Rumspielen auf der Strecke. Auf der Straße hatte ich ihn bisschen milder. Es war zwar cool, um zu Treffen zu fahren und co, aber man konnte ihn null ausfahren. Er lebt vom Spaß in Kurven am Limit.

Do you mean the BBSs? They‘re BBR RM 025. 7,5x15 ET19 in the beginning. Rebuild to 8x15 ET12 as seen in 2:10 and after.

How much did this project cost you?
I stopped counting. It's also a lot of opportunities along the way i wouldn't buy for the full price. I had no budget too. It just evolved.
O wish I could do the same thing to my old Lancer Coupe with Evo 5 body kit but it had no potential despite it being sexier then a civic ;-;

beautiful but 10 years to build this car seems like a lot to me ... I'm not saying it's easy but it seems strange enough to me given that here in Europe it takes about 3 years to assemble everything
It's not the time it took to build it. It's the time i own it and what happened during that time.

They're King 3000. Made in Italy. Never seen them before. They're missing the centercaps on these pictures.
