EG vs EK - Honda Meet

- This was a fun local Socal meet that was held at the Yorba Regional Park. The Honda took over 1 of the smaller parking lot areas in what I found to be a really cool meet.
I was surprised that all the Honda's that came out were practically done cars and not 4 different colors of primer. All the cars that showed were super nice and great examples of what you can do with the older Honda platform.
There was everything from the OEM+ build to the "steetable" racecar. I really enjoyed seeing the cars a grew up driving and it made me miss having a Honda in my garage.

I've always loved the eg. Maybe I just like bubble butts but who knows xD. All good looking cars, hard to choose a favorite. Maybe the gold mugen valve cover, bliiiiing!
You can't go wrong with any 90s Honda. Any Japanese around that time really. That's the golden age for innovation, tuning, and max boost comics.

I absolutely love my ek, it’s got a K24a2 and it rips to 10k. I don’t really care (as of right now) to turbo it and make 500wheel cause I’m just enjoying the driver experience in it.
That's how I felt about my s2k. I really enjoyed it NA. The old school Honda's I really enjoy NA. One of these days I'll get an EK
I’d keep it NA add a head package with cams and wake it up

my mom had a first gen crx si when i was 9 ever since then i have always been a Honda fan i learned to ride motorcycle on a 77 honda my buddy had a red eg hatch now i have a 97 manual ek

Any car is reliable till you have to rebuild them, just sayin. Much love for the tight Japanese cars because they are fun and a cult classic with BILLIONS of followers.

Lucky mine EK is still like it should be and i will do my best to keep it away from car destroyers like this....

Everyone with the same wheels is lame imo. Ek over eg but they both are better than coupe or sedan
I have an ongoing joke about going to meets and counting how many TE's I see (they do look good though). The older chassis are getting harder to find parts (CRX, EG and etc). But Id be happy to own a RHD version of them. Thanks for watching
