    The best part of this video is that it gives you a story that stops you from feeling lost and gets you into the mindset you need to be.

    Those two ‘people’ are negative extremes. Nothing wrong with telling people close to you when something major happens but also don’t wallow in self pity. But also be proactive about moving forward with strong self efficacy. Also don’t lie to prospective employers! Depending on the industry you’re in, especially small companies, networks are close and people talk about everything. Yes don’t show all your cards but if asked directly about something frame it to reflect on you well without lying. Some good advice here but not everything is recommended.

    Most of the immigrants who did bachelors in civil or mechanical are sliding to IT or CSE after coming to US...
    So why they are shifting their courses?is the job opportunities for civil or mech are that much low in US?
    Requesting to make a video on this..

    • @ImmigrantTalks
      @ImmigrantTalks  Před 2 lety +1

      Sure will do. So the incomes and opportunities in Tech are much more higher than in Civil and MECH. Smart people will usually follow the path of least resistance.

    Hello Sir,
    I am writing to inquire about other options for moving to the US besides the H1B visa. I have received a job offer from a US-based company, but they have informed me that I have to wait until 2024 to get an H1B visa. They suggested that I should talk to my immigration attorney to check if there are any other options available for me to come to the United States.
    As I have checked through the internet, there seem to be no other options available apart from a visitor visa, and it is not clear if it is possible to change the status from a visitor visa to a work visa after moving to the US.
    I am feeling quite hopeless. Could you please enlighten me on the best possible ways to proceed? Thank you for your time. I am looking forward to a positive response from you.
