4 piece cavalry set is not the best. You can go for 2 piece (boot + chest) and epic weapon, kvk helm, hp legs and gloves. Only reason to go for legendary weapon is for rally leader or garrison captain and it is expertised kvk weapon which is almost impossible to get for normal player unless really lucky.
I also discovered a secret op way of playing this champion. Just fire 3active skills and move your march to the side and atack again after 2seconds.This way you will fire off double skill every skill cycle!
I understand what you are saying, but my own analysis shows the set you suggest to be inferior. Epic pieces really have no place at all in the current SoC meta with the arrival of iconics. I have a video on this channel talking about iconics and how it seriously impacts (hurts) epic gear. Now, relative to the gear I show in this video, the set with epic weapon might be better, but once these are special talented, they will be stronger (and I will special talent them). Anyway, I have other videos on this channel showing my calculator, and I'm quite satisfied with the set I recommend.
Regarding your point about Joan, yes that would be one way to use her very effectively. I'm not 100% sure if that is the best way though because with rejuvenate talents subsequent skill cycles become shorter. That is, the first skill cycle is always a bit longer if your commander has rejuvenate. Nonetheless, the way you describe using her is quite interesting and suggests you might prefer talents that go to the top of the cav tree.
@@PsychOutROK Overall i think that iconic set is not for regular player. Not everyone can and should afford kvk pieces. If you have for example 2 full legendary sets this is still better to go for non kvk pieces, since they cost just too much resurces. Of course iconic changes everything, but really 1 special talented epic piece in whole set is too much?
@@miseq4342 Yeah, I agree with you. I am not sure when I will ever be able to craft the kvk weapon or helm. They are very expensive. But I can definitely craft the sets with special talent. And iconic crystals are a lot easier to get now.

Why isn’t she good as primary? I’ve been running Joan Nevsky and I feel like Nev gets targeted more often in the field than Joan does.
Two reasons. First, I think the skill tree is better than the support tree. Second, her skills seem to synergize better with other commanders when she is secondary. For example, Nevsky's 4th skill gives a 35% skill damage boost after an active skill is used. With Joan primary, that means the second cast of sacred banner (her 4th skill) will get the boost. And on the second skill cycle (her 4th skill in cool down), Nevsky's single target skill damage will get the boost. Now, contrast that with Joan secondary. On the first skill cycle both of Joan's sacred banner casts (1st skill and 4th skill) will get a 35% damage boost. On the second skill cycle, she will also get a 35% damage boost to her AoE skill. In a large group situation where AoE counts, you are doing to do a lot more damage with her secondary.
Now, let's look at XY. Obviously with XY you benefit from his lower rage requirements. So using Joan as a primary here really slows the skill cycle, which is not what you are going for with an XY pairing.
But that's for me in the kind of fights I fight. When I fight, I am using all "must answer threats" and something is always going to get targeted. I don't worry about what is getting targeted because whatever isn't getting targeted will absolutely pop off. For example, right now, my Boudica + YSG is getting insanely good reports because everyone is targeting XY and Nevsky (and Nebu for some inexplicable reason). Fine by me. That means all my other marches get to go nuts. But if you are fighting with only 1 or 2 marches, it might make more sense pick unlikely targets for your group fights.
Nevsky/Joan seems to be better than XY/Joan. From my experience at least.
I think most are coming to the consensus that Nevsky/Joan is the single best cav march in the game. The question is what to do with 2 cav marches (that includes XY and William)? I have some rage simulation testing coming on both Nevsky/Joan and XY/Joan in the coming days.
@@PsychOutROK when I got Joan I also had to invest in William to pair him with XY. Not a bad march, my william is at 5551. Great content btw.
@@onecoldgamer6022 Thanks bro! Yes, I've run both pairs in the OF now: XY/Joan and Nev/William and also Nev/Joan and XY/William. I felt like I did better with the latter pair, but the fights weren't really equivalent and my opponents were focusing different targets in my murderball, so it is really hard to say. XY/Joan has an incredible 5 second skill cycle(!!), but definitely gets roughed up when targeted. Of course, I think XY/William would as well, but for whatever reason opponents haven't targeted the XY/William. Maybe it's just luck.
@@PsychOutROK I’ve experienced the same thing, they focus on my Guan/Scipio and Boudica/YSG, very odd. Maybe that’s what’s getting targeted now.
@@onecoldgamer6022 For whatever reason, my Boudica + YSG is being targeted last and my Nebu + Tomyris is being targeted first or second. It's allowed my Boudica + YSG to get some absolutely savage reports.

5115 is a waste of time, just start using her after putting 380 gh after opening 5111
🤔 It's only 60 GHs to unlock + 5111. I don't think she is playable at 5111. Or are you saying unlock, then put all but the last 4 skills into her and use her no matter what? I don't think she would be very good at 5551 (which is 380 GH + unlock).
@@PsychOutROK only 50 gh at 5111, be realistic its virtually impossible to get her to 5115 like Tomyris, it's possible for 5515 like Nebuchadnezzar, that 380gh.
@@andytan911 I still don't quite know if I follow what you are saying. I think you are saying take to 5111 and then invest 380 gold heads and use her. I can get behind that, but I think you are missing a lot if you don't have 5xx5. To be clear, I wasn't saying you should try to get her to 5115. I was saying that she becomes playable once the 1st and 4th skills are maxed.
