This is a Porsche 911 restoration that was abandoned in 1994 after being converted to a race car. My plan is a twin turbo Subaru EZ30 porsche engine swap with 400+ HP to the wheels. Stay tuned. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Looking better and better!
Man, your flare job looks amazing, always remember there are guys that do this for a living each day, so yeah they will be better at it than you, but man you do a brilliant job. Keep it up.

Thanks Damon!
Well done ! Hard work pays off
Thank you!
Try using a right angle die grinder to grind your welds back. Easier then using a bulky angle grinder. Great job no less.
After watching this one I feel spoiled that the wide/flare guards on my beetle just bolt on! Awesome work
Jealous!
Nicely done.
Thanks Trev!

@@rennch. de nadda, in my limited Spanish...? Italiano per favore.

✋ Awesome job! You have now earn the title of "Buttermaster"
Ha ha!
High five from the UK!
Thanks bud. Coming right along.
You should come take a look at my 69 912 suby swap project next time you're in Denver!
Not too bad for a podcaster. I see you!
Getting there!
Mmmmm 275s! So meaty!
It’ll have so much stick you may run the risk of cranial fluid leak from your ears
I have to do a staggered setup, but we will sort that all out.
Really enjoying your progress and improvement with welding technique. Curious why you are suggesting fibreglass filler when you previously have had success with lead filler? Speaking from experience I have a 911SC that I had painted in the California in 1997-ish and looking at it now you can see where the filler was applied due to disturbances in the paintwork that are visible now but were not visible for the first 15 years.
See a couple of episodes ago with the “bad Chad” technique
I recognise those clamps!
You have some?
No, didn’t Jeff make some of these for his arches?
@@bensouth1667 They are pretty common I think. I got mine here: www.harborfreight.com/butt-welding-clamps-8-pc-60545.html?cid=paid_google|||60545&gclid=CjwKCAjwtJ2FBhAuEiwAIKu19kQ3-ny2ZKsdiO7gFUz6ZX4TFWvGybFhNKt0nu74zbSRdko1ZgIbXBoC-bAQAvD_BwE
Interesting! There was me thinking it was an invention.
I would take modeling clay... put it in refrigerator get cool not to cold and apply It next to panel. Down side was if you hammer dolly area without hitting clay. Really came out nice!
You should give that a go! Let me know how it turns out.
@@rennch. I watched rest of your video...your flares came out better than anything I've ever done. Most metal workers today get it close then use the "fender in a can " technique to finish off the body. I really enjoyed watching you work the flares leaving a finished bare metal look. Your 100% right...no better feeling when all that hard work brings out results like that. Can't wait for paint!
🤘👏
yeah- that was "super satisfying"
I think!
Buhderee Smoove! 💨🔥
Nice booty⏳work ,Dr.O’Neill 👍🏼👋🏼
Thank you!
👍👌
👍
👍🏻🍺👏
Hey Michael, I tried the links. Some do not work, might want to check the address. But otherwise, great video as usual, car is really taking shape!
Which links?
@@rennch. The only one I found works is the Uro link. I think there might be some hidden characters in the link. I am using Chrome and when I select the link this is what shows "rennch.com/rd%C3%A2%C2%80%C2%8B%C3%A2%C2%80%C2%8B%C3%A2%C2%80%C2%8B" If I remove the extra characters the link works properly. Might just be for me, but not sure.
Lucking fab x
Fabulously fab!
wait, I'm confused -- did you nail them or weld them?!? : )
Basically spot welded with a mig welder. So it doesnt heat up and warp as if you were running a full bead
Cleverrrrr
I love my buttclamps, they are like have two extra sets of hands
These were cheapies, but quite useful.
You have not discovered the secret of anything. Trust me!
👍
Thanks!
