    Finally a vid w/ weld-on flares that were done right and didn’t look like garbage when it was done. Great work, I appreciate you walking us through the process while keeping it quick and to the point. Looks so good when you’re done too, you should be proud.

    Amazing work man! Actually the first video showing some decent fenderworks I've come across, and I've been looking at video's for a long time (to get my rocketbunny kit on). But recently I'm leaning more towards metal fenders like these. Is there anywhere I can see this in a finished form, or just some behind and side/behind shots of the car from a distance?

  • @OnlyyDans

    Love the work bro! I just have a question.. can you TIG weld over weld through primer? I’ve only seen people Mig using it

    • @240Tony
      @240Tony  Před 4 lety

      Thanks man! No you cannot because once anything like paint/solvent or anything that can burn up, will release a gas which displaces the "Argon" gas that is coming out of your tig torch. Then the heated metal is no longer protected by the Argon so then the molten metal starts to react to it and bubble etc.

    • @OnlyyDans
      @OnlyyDans Před 4 lety

      @@240Tony ahh ok, I understand now. I just started TIG welding since it's more controllable on body panels.. I just don't know how to protect the panel from rust after you weld on areas that can't spray primer behind. I'm currently fitting a whole new quarter panel for wider wheels
