    Who is this women, could you please give more info? Is she Karaman Turks who moved to Greece after WWI?

      Ηello Kamil! This is special woman is called Katina Farasopoulou. Yes, her parents were refugees from Kayseri (Καισάρεια) who came to Greece after the sad events of 1922 and she was born a little after in Iasio a village in Rhodope region.

      Thank you for the answer! :-) My parents are also originally from Kayseri. I was born in Belgium. Those are the Karaman Turks who are Orthodox right? I was 2 years ago in Kos and found out that there are so many similarities between Turks and Greeks, food, music, habit, etc. Religion should not be a factor to divide.

      Karamanlides is a term usually refers to the Cappadocians who spoke a fusion of Turkish and Greek. Karamanlidika.

      Kamil Gozen... Karaman people was greek people who speak Turkish and pla pla nothing else .Μy grandmother was ....They speak Turkish not because they want it they speak because it was the only way to survive from the Turks lol. All greeks who came from Turkey know Turkish what does it mean that they are all Turks (only few know only greek)? They came and muslim greeks in Greece what does it mean ? My grandfathers all speak Turkish and one of them he was know Turkish better than greek but never talk to us in Turkish because they tell us that Turkish is a cursed lauguage... I dont have something with you but i do search if that you saying is a truth but its not i learn that is one of the milion propaganda of your goverment to take Greece you will tell me that its not propaganda but believeee me man i wish you could believe me i have nothing to win they saying lies about us 100years to hate us and i dont know why?! I can say you milions propagandas from your goverment that never exist ...You will tell me that and you goverment saying lies no man they dont give a shit about us and they dont give a shit what they done and does Turkey to us our goverment has a dream that we will be friends with the Turkey lol
