If you’ve been in a boat with seats like this, you know how awesome this is.
Awesome.
They translated the dynamics of a full suspension mountain bike suspension and applied it to their seats.
No they translated a hybrid bicycle seat post shock into a truck. If you've ever tried those they are 100% gimmick.
Wrong application of vehicle suspension improvement.
Can’t wait to experience this while driving over the speed bumps at my local mall.
But you have to wait.
this comment made me laugh.
Right? Or your hapless victims on the sidewalk.
They should put this in airplanes too so you can’t feel the brat behind you kicking your seats
That brat behind you kicking your seats, will deflate or lockout your system🤣
Shoot I'll take an an extra inch of arm room
They should invent laser beam eyes. I would rather just turn around and shoot laser beams out of my eyes.☠️
Wouldn’t be a problem if airlines had enough leg room.
☠️☠️☠️☠️
If you haven't spent all day on a trail, I'm not sure if you can truly appreciate what's being attempted here.
Just get long travel and tune your shocks.
@@sam_s_ Not every buyer do that stuff
People will have to remember that just because you can’t feel it, doesn’t mean you’re rig can’t. 👍🏼
@@sam_s_”just spent 10s of thousands modifying your already expensive vehicle”
Toyota has quietly gone and made the best seats ever in a truck.
😎
The previous generation was literally the worst seats ever made in a truck.
Just sell them as add-ons to the other vehicles. You’ll sell billions. ❤
@@CalvinHikes ya lol
@@toyotausa 😎
Great "hey guys I gotta replace my shocks" on a seat 🤣
Which seat shocks should I go for?? King, Fox, or Icon?? Or for my daily needs should I go Bilstein?
Sign me up! Already waiting to get my hands on these to retrofit them on my 3rd gen. Very similar to a mountain bike system, and I'm an avid mtb'r.
Finally a new car tech that isn't just a gimmick.. I'm good with one 10in screen i don't need more, I'll rather have comfy things like that
Definitely interested in seeing if this seat has a place in the more on-road models. Looks too cool to not be put into more stuff.
I wonder what roads you're driving on lol
It’s got an on-road/off-road setting.
Pretty bummed out that these seats won’t be in their TRD Off Road but only on the Pros and Trails.
Gonna retrofit these into my 3rd gen for all the mallcrawling I do.
As a 3rd gen owner yes indeed, we need these for our pavement crawlers. 😎
Need it for the potholes!
Dang! I actually get my 3rd gen out there and hit some hard and rocky/fast trails. I actually would not mind retro fitting these to my 23 trd OR.
These seats look really awesome - now watch the other manufacturers copy and implement their version into their trucks. Hope it becomes available on the lower trim models like the Sport and Off-Road for those that want the 3 pedals.
Buy the seat and bolt it in
@@Captndarty if u get it as spare parts
Absurd they aren’t in their trd off road version
Toyota and Lexus have been absolutely knocking it out of the park. I bought my first toyota a few years ago, 2021 4runner. Total convert, something about them creates an emotional connection. Will keep forever even when I add another daily, which will 100% be a toyota or lexus. Can't wait to see the new GX, can only imagine what is in store for the 4runner!
My parents went full lexus 15 years ago and haven't looked back. That's also made me a Lexus/Toyota convert and now our entire family has only Toyota/Lexus cars because we know they won't die on us. We're the practical folk that want a car that lasts 10+ years with 150k miles minimum. My 2010 ES350 is at 149k right now and still powering through like a champ.
@@CinemaSteve I am the same, I keep all my cars until they die or something breaks that the cost isnt worth fixing. I have had 3 Nissan's and Infinity's that I bought 2-3yrs old and around 30k miles. All of them had issues 80-100k that eventually died around 130-150k. Asked my mechanic what brand for long term he said hands down toyota and some Honda models
@@jsnow6925 yup you really can’t go wrong with Toyota. I’ve heard some nightmares with Nissan. My Civic I had did put me in the shop a bunch too compared to my Lexus so I’m all aboard the Lexus train and that’s where I’m staying. When my wife’s Xterra dies I think we’re replacing it with a 4Runner too.
Hopefully we can purchase these individually. Would love these seats on my 23’ tundra
Ha was thinking the same for my 2019
No can do.
Reg seat now cost around 3000bucks if not more. Can't imagine what those cost.
These will be great for Illinois roads.
Can't wait to put these seat on a first gen Tacoma prerunner DBL cab. Thank You Toyota for creating an amazing truck.
it's made for one of the very few people that can afford it after insane markups
@@RyansTechReviews29 or goto Utah
Lots of cheaper suspension seats out there just look em up, unless you got the cash for 2 of those
@@sorojinidungdung6979 you guys don't have markup in Utah? And what about Wyoming? I'm from Italy and wanna move to that part of US or maybe in Alberta
@@mortensenvick5711 nope or not much we have new tundra full package and mods at the price of base f150 markup price😀
I see these are mounted to a 3rd gen. Can we please get a genuine Toyota retrofit kit to fit these to our 3rd gen tacoma's?
WOW Game changer! I have never owned a truck. I've changed my mind now 🤩
I see your testing the seats in a Gen 3 Tacoma. Can the seats be sold separately to Current Tacoma owners like me?
Love ❤️ Toyota!! Best car brand ever 🥰
We appreciate the love! 🤗
This is so awesome! Make it permanent for all TRD Pros! Finally Innovation and development happening with the truck lines of TRD pro!
This thing is so dope! Makes me wanna get a TRD never been a Tacoma fan but this is a changer
me too! This is a selling point
Can’t wait to try it!
That's awesome, Jaime! We can't wait for you to experience all the Tacoma has to offer. 😎
im really hoping they release this for purchase by itself. i just bought the 2023 trd offroad and would love to buy that seat of my truck, and honestly i dont care how much i gotta pay for it. I neeeed it
Based on the tech and materials, im thinking maybe $2,500 per seat?
@@MrMoisesramirez12 that’s how much the dealer will charge you for factory tints 😂
Why wouldn't you guys put this in the Trail Hunter also?
I love the car seat design
Seeing this being tested on a 3rd gen Taco makes me want to install one in mine!
I can't wait to get my 2024 Tacoma.
We can't wait for you to experience all the Tacoma has to offer! 🤩
reminds me of air ride seats in heavy duty trucks and semi's
ive see bus and semi trucks have similar type of chair suspension
These are great for the mall speed bumps 😂
Class. This is a very useful innovation. Well done, Toyota.
We appreciate the compliment! 😃
Good morning,thanks everyone.
Nice. Now can you make sure the plastic along the side controls doesn't break when sliding in/out?
So freakin awesome !!!
Thanks for the love! 😎
How much more space is taken away in the back seat area compared to other trim levels with the seats?
bonjour, c'est le top... bravo a tout l'équipe toyota, au revoir.😀
Toyota’s the best. 😎
So will these seats be for sale to be able to install them in say a 3rd gen tacoma?
This is gonna make picking up the kids from soccer practice so sick!
Love my Toyota !!!!!!!!
Toyota is back!
ONCE AGAIN TOYOTA DID IT AGAIN
Well done TOYOTA!
😊
Gonna need that for the potholes this winter in WNY
Since these were tested in a gen 3, will they be available for purchase for a gen 3?
Ah, should be perfect for my commute to work everyday.
PC Principle in the flesh!
Toyota TRD gaming chairs when?
Will this be an option for those that would rather maximize rear occupant leg room, or mandatory, on the Pro?
We love to see it!
Is this the official Longo Toyota CZcams channel? Because my uncle bought a new 2003 Toyota Sequoia from your dealership and liked it so much he bought another new 2006 or 2007 Toyota Sequoia from Longo Toyota lol. And he drove down from Las Vegas both times. Those were the good old days. 😎
@@I_discovered_civilization Yes! This is the official Longo Toyota account.
Interesting technology. I'd like to see this in a sports car application.
So cool
Finally catching up to the semi truck seats.
Surprise they didn't put this in the trail hunter.
How about isodynamic rear leg room?
How much room does it take from the back seat. I’ve tons of off-roading and I don’t think it’s all that big of a deal unless your in Baja or something. Nothing I really need or want
I'm so excited to fix one of these for .7 warranty time
Grocery runs just got more ISO Dynamic!
Will they fit in my 2013?
Are the parts serviceable? Will it require scheduled maintenance? I see moving parts so I think "when do those moving parts fail?" Will Toyota sell individual parts or a whole seat assembly as parts wear and fail?
Very well good job US TOYOTA
The seats are very comfortable and soft
Reinventing the seat
Looks cool, not enough to convert me yet, but cool.
Another gadget to make someone feel like they are a driving god while sat on couch!
Will they fit in an '05 Sequoia?
amazing guys.
😍 🙌
The aftermarket is going to have a field day with this kind of stuff. You're going to see a lot of Chevys, Fords, and God forbid Nissans doing TRD seat swaps lol
I would be impressed to see an adjustable suspension seat in a high-end Land Rover. In a Toyota Tacoma? (well, we don't know the price of the TRD Pro yet, do we?)
Nice
will it fit in the 3rd gen tacoma????
Can I put these seats on the new land cruiser or lexus GX? Please toyota USA let me know :)
There was a seat that was designed so if ever you were in a head on collision the seat would move forward and ramp up to take a significant amount of force out of impact.
🤔👍🏻 PERFECT
How do I get a pair of these for my FJ Cruiser?
But will it fit in my 09' Matrix XR?? 🤔🤔
Very interesting, semi tractors have something vaguely similar to make the ride more tolerable for long periods. Pretty cool to see toyota expand on that for offroading
I need these for my chevy work van. Feel like I’m gonna get whiplash going over small bumps.
Dear Toyota, first off this looks to be the best seat ever devised and put into a truck. Secondly, I would like to request and wish that you make a basic, universal-style version for the aftermarket. This way people could bring these seats to their well used trucks as an added comfort.
How long does it take to readjust the pressure in the seat?
I'm assuming we'll use a mountain bike shock pump to change the air pressure. It'll be interesting to see if we can easily swap drivers on long road trips, etc.
It shows dials on the shocks in the video.
If I’m not mistaken, the TRD Pro that these seats come in also have a built in air compressor in the left side of the bed so you can use it to not only air up/down the tires but also the seats as well.
@@ohainickify nah, would not use such a high volume pump on such small air damper system. Shock pump for mountain bikes would be best. Already have a couple of good shock pumps since I'm an avid mtb'r, just need the seats now to retrofit them on my 23 trd OR. 😬
I wonder if the new year Tundra
TRD Pro’s will get this? Would be awesome.
My great great great grandfather's covered wagon had a seat with suspension.
Toyota please sell these seats as an aftermarket option for Tundras.
how that would feel in a truck with air suspension?
Tacoma is my loving car ❤️
Principle PC left South Park Elementary to work for Toyota
The new Trailhunter is SO Off-Road oriented it's SEATS have shocks!
Ha! Doesn’t come with Trailhunter.
@@induction7895 😟
Was the suspension in the truck improved at all compared to the prior generation, or only the seats?
still leaf springs and same shock designs in the front
Direct fit on a 3rd gen 🙌
Toyota has done it AGAIN!
You asked. We delivered 😎
Well done with the new Tacoma, I am glad you put more emblems, and the trailhunter badge is nice. Also the seats are so sharp on the PRO, well done. Now can you please build a new plant in Japan and start building sports cars like Acura does in United States. I think Toyota should focus on building their own sports cars and not give your heritage to bmw and Subaru. Build it and they will come.
These are super cool, but make them OPTIONAL I’d prefer the rear leg room but I love all the other features of the Pro
Imagine the repair bill when a $2 metal rod shoots through a $6 plastic pump housing.
What’s the max load weight?
Life expectancy of gas cylinders?
I wanna know what that package option will be. What 5-10k USD? Either way it’s super cool!
I'm pretty sure it's standard on TRD pro.
front car seats remind me of "cats lair" or "cubil felino" from thundercats
time to buy one seat for my old fj40 lol
Only 10,000 miles of testing?
How much to rebuild them after 50k miles?
Moab test ?
I want one for my Volvo L70 loader!
