Judah was upset because he flew all the way to see it and to find out it was a rebuilt title.
Nevertheless, not reason to react the way he did. Ultimately when purchasing a used vehicle you should always ask the owner(not me) of the vehicle every single question on your mind prior to going and looking at it

Why not run it through NICB before selling it? Why not do a good inspection and show the damage? Why not look at the title? A lot of actions you made did not add up. I have sold over a 100 cars and have never not known it was a salvage title.

Doesnt work that way. If you were handing off the title and taking the money you would need a dealers license to do so. Or if you were the registered owner of that shop you can also sell the car, but it would have to be in the shops name to do so.

Here's my last question. If you were so busy and had nothing to gain from this, why not tell your friend to sell his own car? He could of made a craigslist, facebook, instagram post himself.... What I am saying is, only the person who is the registered owner on the title can represent the car for sale, otherwise you would need a dealers license or be a shop. And a shop is limited in how many cars they can sell
@@michaelcurley989 The owner was doing the mechanic work on my cars so this was an act of kindness on my part towards him. The owner was also there and met and discussed everything with Judah the day prior.

I wouldn't want it if it had a rebuilt title either, that's in my opinion big info regardless of it being drift or not. On average you loose 25-40% value with rebuilt title and that's fixed
I’m guessing you don’t drift. This car will sell for 8-9k even with no title. They sell for 15-20k with a clean title
It’s just a crap situation. I bought my c5 with a destroyed motor and no title because it was a flood car for $4k. The $7500 is a steal even for rebuilt title and the cosmetic problems which are cheap fix. Understanding that drift cars are meant to get banged up to me in my honest opinion shouldn’t matter but knowing a little bit of Judah I can see he wanted less work and maybe he valued the strangers opinion when he was asking what they thought it was worth.
In all honesty I believe both of you are nice guys and can talk this out without CZcams drama and get along. After all we’re all into the same things and it would just be better to get along.

I initially thought the vid was a bit scripted because judahs frustration but I agree with him man. The car was a deal, but clean vs rebuilt brings up a different pricing conversation. I paid 7k for a clean 00 vette right before covid - 7500 for a half wrecked rebuilt in this market is fine but nothing to fly multiple states for. I guess your pal was getting ready to sell you a R title without your knowledge as well lol.
I feel you. The car sold the same day Judah walked. These cars are super desirable in drifting. I just think since Judah isn’t into drifting like that, he wasn’t interested after the rebuilt title.

@@swagger1930 I wasn’t the rep tho. The buyer offered it to me, I didn’t want it but it was such a good deal (for a drift car) I passed it on. I already had several buyers but went out of my way to loop Judah in on the deal. Lesson learned for sure tho

Yea man , maybe for a real drift guy the title don’t matter but for some one just getting in the sport , coming from flipping stuff a rebuilt title is a big deal . since yall was friends and he took your word for it. I’d feel a lil hurt too specially since I flew out and spent my money to do so. You gotta look at it like this the drift scene isn’t as big as buy and selling scene . Since you know a lot of people that difts probably a easy sell for you (probably why the owner agreed with you to sell instead of selling his self) and saving his finders fee but if Judah bought it and didn’t want it . It more then likely would have been harder for him to sell then you with a rebuilt title.

Mutual party here - 1) you say he had a lot of edits, but so does this video and so many on CZcams 2) you state it wasn’t you selling the car, but posted for a finders fee thus making you a broker. A broker is responsible for vetting both sides of the situation for the deal. 3) if the car was worth more then why is it so cheap? Why not sell it for its value? 4) Salvage title does not matter to some but to others it does. No matter drifting or not a salvage/rebuilt titled car contains a far less value then a non rebuilt. 5) Judah posted his version of the story and we all know that there was stuff that was not shared, however this seems to be an issue for you but yet you feel that it should not be an issue for Judah not to have had disclosed info given to him? Moral of the story is you were used for your platform, you were a broker, you didn’t do your homework and were looking for a easy cut. Judah over reacted on film even thou it was a crappy situation but that’s business and he should have wrote it off as a content loss and made a video about the failed transaction less the drama. $1,000 is a steep cost upfront for a video content but would be made back and expenses written off the video profits so he should have treated this as business. Also there is a difference between a roached/beat 20 year old car and one that’s cared for. As an owner of a 400+ horse power 18 year old vehicle with many mods and work I can say mine is as close a 3 year old used car driven off a sales lot. The fact it was a salvage, rebuilt, abused, drifted and someone put some motor mods to beat on it made it in its condition. The statement should be “Judah was looking at a 20 year old, salvage rebuilt drift car with mods… of course it’s gonna be in the condition he saw”. Good luck to the both of you and in the end this hurt both of you as no matter how the story is told there is truth in it all sprinkled between the fluff. The internet is a dark place and CZcams/social media is all a tv show or a fictional book, rarely is there 100% truth here in CZcams world as it don’t sell and no one clicks.
I’m not going to lie, I’m not going to read all that. But the car was sold regardless if Judah bought it or not. I went out of my way to let Judah get first dibs on the car and he could’ve easily said no. The person that bought the car is incredibly happy with it and ultimately that’s all that matters. Also the buyer paid $7500 since that’s a steal for this car in the drift world

Round trip from any airport in Florida to Charolette is between 80 and 140 bucks. Judah is full of shit saying it was 400 each way. You can fly for 500 roundtrip first class from anywhere in Florida to Charolette. Charolette Douglas is an international airport and airlines practically give away those 1 hr flights into/out of international airports because they send planes under 50% capacity with passengers going across the country or international.

I didn’t hustle him because literally 100 other buyers were begging for it. Me getting a finders fee is simply an incentive sellers will use in an effort to reach more customers. Literally happens all the time

@@michalex9879 your issue is, you don’t understand how social media works, or evidently drifting. I posted the car on Instagram and Facebook because it’s a steal of a price. It was sold within minutes. Prior to responding to the 100’s of comments I reached out to Judah because he asked me to keep him in mind. He flew out, cried like a baby and went home. I reached out to the first person to comment, explained that Judah did not want the car because it had a rebuilt title and cracked door, they did not care because even in this condition it will sell for 10-12k. Buyer came and got the car and is still happy with it.

Car sold to a buyer that actually wanted the car
Price reflects condition, photos tell you what you’re getting before buying. Juda had all that info before catching the flight. The title being rebuilt is no difference in his eyes. He has many rebuilt cars. He could register that car the next day without issue in fl. Juda showed his ass for a CZcams video. It cost him friends and integrity the most.

You’re mad at the wrong person if you truly didn’t know about the title, you got played, but the seller who is a “mechanic” that doesn’t think listing damage and of all things a fucking rebuilt title.
A real mechanic pull up to buy something and all the shit from the sellers post is off. They aren’t buying it, so I find it hard to believe a mechanic that quote “knows his shit” would make a listing like that. What a cluster fuck.
There was no text messages from the owner. As I mentioned, the owner was at the shop and told me everything about the car as I wrote it down in my notes. The transaction was smooth with the guy that bought it, just a mess with Judah

Truthfully we didn’t even talk about all that. The mechanic working on my car offered the vette to me but I didn’t need it, so I called Judah, he flew up the next day, talked to the owner of the car directly before buying but evidently title was not discussed. Agreed tho, misunderstanding
