The most illegal thing about that truck is the lack of under-drivetrain protection and off-road tires. Buddy used to have a Dodge Ram single cab on some wide tires with only about 4 feet below the bumpers. All he needed to do to become "road legal" was insall a bumper extension below the bumper tying in just before the axles.
I guess the rear-steer on a live axle would also be illegal, since it's typically not legal on semi trucks in most states.
DOT tires are a requirement.....but the exposed drivetrain is not an issue. During operation, no one should be under the truck.
Its about the bumper.....headlights, turn signals, tail light heights !
That truck is legal in FL just have to lower lights

Man fr almost happened to me but luckily the sheriff was nice man gave me a ticket but he ain’t tow my car or put me in jail 😉 then I went to court & it got dropped down to a non moving violation not providing registration or something like that

If it did hydro lock you just take the plugs out and turn it over until it stops spitting water. The put new plugs in and it will fire right up.
