- I can't believe this Michigan Motorsports Drift Cam made 500whp! That is crazy for a cam only LS3. Now keep in mind, tho this was developed for drifting, this will be a great camshaft for road racing, street driving, and drag racing alike. Stock heads and stock intake. It’s just cam, headers, exhaust

@@ZackCalvin crazy that its making 500 on headers, exhaust, and cam. im on the same plus a "cold" air intake and only make 480 with a TSP F35 cam. you got a damn good cam

What kinda power would this cam make on a 5.3 lm7
This cam is so new I’m not sure an LM7 has been done yet. I gained roughly 80whp tho so I’d expect gains of 50+ on the smaller displacement LS lineup
This exact cam would not work you would need the stage 5 for the 5.3 since one is gen 3 and the other is gen 4,roughly the same gains over stock with all other factors being the same but depends on what intake and heads you have, Richard holder has plenty of dyno videos showing every power level in every ls and the best way to get there

Did you ever get it tuned when the torque management was freaking out? I live around a half hour from them and I am thinking about taking my parents 08 G8GT there to get it tuned and the cylinder deactivation deleted. I also have a 2018 Camaro SS 1LE with the LT1 that I'd like to get tuned after adding a Rotofab and MSD
Yeah JD was able to disable all the torque management stuff so she’s a spicy unit now

Superchargers result in high IAT’s and you don’t want that for drifting. Also keep in mind this car won’t be used for competition, just for fun events(at least right now)

Those numbers are in STD and not SAE, hence why they're higher than what most people use (which is SAE). Also your hp peak is at ~6300 RPM, not 5500. It might be pretty close at 5500 RPM, but it clearly shows the peak is between 6300 and 6400 RPM on that graph. I like the specs on that cam, but it's designed for a bit more midrange torque/broader powerband than absolute max hp. There are plenty of other cams with a later IVC that will make more peak hp on that same dyno.

Camshaft market was pretty saturated but with the rise in popularity of drifting became the need for this product. Supply and demand
