CIMARRON FIREARMS Presents: BOOM!!! with Mike Harvey - "One Ranger" 1911

Mike received a visit from Lt. Col. Allen West on behalf of the Former Texas Rangers Foundation to discuss Cimarron's NEW "One Ranger" 1911. The 1911 is a model favored by gun enthusiasts of many varieties. It was the standard issue side arm for the U.S. Armed Forces from 1911 to 1985. The Cimarron 1911 One Ranger comes in .45ACP with a 4.25" barrel and checkered walnut grips. "One riot one ranger", a quote attributed to the legendary Texas Rangers, is engraved on the barrel. Cimarron Firearms donates a percentage of the sales of this firearm to The Former Texas Rangers Foundation to help build their Texas Rangers Heritage Center in Fredericksburg, Texas.

I have a couple of Cimaron's Single Action Army revolvers. They are lovely, reliable, and accurate. This .45 looks good! --Old Guy

Part Two: I notice that this .45 has an extended beavertail, a higher, more positive grip safety; a textured backstrap, a trigger adjustment screw, skeletonized trigger and hammer, and dovetailed sights. That's a fistful of valuable features. --Old Guy

Beautiful 1911. I own several Cimarron guns and find them to be of superior quality. My Cimarron Winchester 1873 in 45 Colt is not only beautiful but also incredible accurate. It's one of my prized possessions. Thanks, Mike, for all you have done to bring quality and historic accuracy to "old west" guns!
