The Texans turn around has been incredible. 2 years ago one of the worst teams in the NFL & now going all in. Hard to believe Diggs & Allen aren't together anymore. The Texans are going to be even more fun to watch! Makes me wonder how FF will be impacted with this move

In Buffalo's 6 game run to secure the number 2 seed in the AFC Diggs had maybe 10 receptions, Shakir was the number 1 target at WR, at Boise State Shakir was the offense, plus Samuel, Kincaid, Knox and Cook Buffalo will be OK. Next year Beane will have 1 first round pick and 2 second round picks lot's of draft capital.
The Texans still have there 2nd round pick next year they traded the pick they got from Minnesota to the Bills I have to give Caserio credit really didn't lose nothing by getting Diggs they have 9 picks this year and will still have all there picks next year

I think we can all agree with O.J. Simpson's succinct take on the issues the Buffalo Bill's had this past season. Too much hero ball from Allen and Diggs. When the Bills went multiple featuring Shakir and the running game they were a far more potent offense. Screw the vertical game. It's a losing proposition. It's all about being multiple and unpredictable. Yes, if you have a freak athlete like Brandon Aiyuk with his 7 foot arms or a Megatron/Hernandez/Kelsey/Julio Jones/Plexico Burress big boy, or a Jerry Rice/Cooper Kupp or a Randy Moss, send it deep 3 times a game. Other than that, especially with Josh Allen, play some small ball. Win it like Purdy does with just a taste of Patrick Mahomes.

Shakir was producing _way_ more yards with far fewer targets after about game 7. So this may already be an OBJ situation where he can do great stuff when you find him open. But based on the playoff game, maybe not even. Anyhow, we'll see.

It doesn't help the Bills this year but it saves them a ton of money next year, which is probably all going to everyone they just signed and extended. Seems like the Bills wanted his contract out and were willing to settle for pennies. Crazy still. They have to be using that pick to move into an extra pick in one of the early round this year. Also, Joe Brady did not use him as much. 107 receptions over 1k yards and 8 TD's is still elite stats.

If Tank drops 3 rounds, buy everywhere you can. He has the upside to be the best wr in that room, if he isn’t already.

While Diggs will be a nice asset, I am still skeptical on how good this is for the Texans. There was already plenty of firepower in the WR room, but the Texans major weakness was the running game. Joe Mixon was a nice pickup, but is that enough?

He's the type of natural born leader who came in and immediately galvanized that locker room. He knew what the state of the organization was going in, and empathized with a fanbase who hadn't had much to be proud of in years. He was hell bent on giving the city something to be proud of so that the Texans logo could be worn as a badge of honor. Said it, meant it, already more than achieved it. He's a man on a mission. Loaded with weapons. Chemistry, culture, and vibes like no team in the league right now. Unreal how drastically different the identity of this team is from where they came from.

Tbh I don't think this move is made without both sides understanding what his role will be. Ultimately CJ will throw to whoever is open (or he'll throw them open) so go ball out and you'll get plenty of touches. Furthermore the guaranteed money is up after this year and Buffalo is paying most of that so if he proves to be a cancer then you cut him after this year and move on. It's essentially a 1 year prove to me you can produce at a high level still and not be a cancer in the process.
There is probably a honeymoon period where Diggs is happy and producing. How long it will last is the question.
