I sure hope they are because: 1. They’re my 2nd favorite team (behind the Giants) 2. They haven’t made it pass the 2nd round of the playoffs in their existence. Although they more playoff wins this century than than the Cowboys.
I feel something special brewing in Htown! I'm extremely excited about this season. The Texans have done all the right things to right this franchise! Go Texans!
I hate to agree, as a Jags fan, CJ stroud is just built differently. Hes cold as ice. Hopefully he has the Mac Jones career arc, but i doubt it. But this division is now one of the best in the league where any team can win on Sunday. The other 3 teams are underrated imo
The Texans are gonna do very well this year as long as the team stays healthy and we don’t have any injuries to our key players. Super Bowl? Let’s not speak too soon. Ima stay humble and just hope for the best. Don’t wanna jinx it… Let’s Go Texans!!!!! #BullsOnParade
Yeah Bro Texans are definitely going in the right direction, wish Panthers would have drafted CJ but what’s done is done. A lot of teams making a lot of moves this offseason, is it September yet
To make it to the Super Bowl the Texans need to improve in 3 areas. (1) Red zone offense……we need more TDs and less FGs inside the 20. Improvements on the offensive line and running game are vital in this area. (2) Time of possession…..The Texans could move the ball, seemingly at will through the air, but they failed to close out a few close games due to being unable to establish a running game, and convert on short yardage situations. (3) Passing Defense…..the NFL is a passing league, the Texans set a franchise record for sacks, but were in the bottom of the league in pass defense. The Texans allocated both free agent dollars and draft capital to correct this issue.
It’s almost like they got a Joe mix and a great rookie rb for the run game, plus they upgraded their defense. Seems like they checked the boxes in your comment
People keep talking about if things don't go Diggs way he might act up! We Houstonian live a bit different down here, so with that being said don't let the "Southern Hospitality" fool you we don't play that here! IJS...🤔
The media did the same thing to the Jags this last year. It isn't fair to these guys. CJ is gonna have a come back down to Earth moment in a sophomore slump and then the same media is gonna destroy the guy like they did to Trevor. The team isn't finished. They've got a lot of key pieces, but they're not ready. Same as the Jags. The Texans benefitted from everyone elses Q getting injured this year so he was competing against backups.
Lmao... we had more injuries than any team in the NFL .5 Starters on the online was out for most of the season.c.j ballout with backup linemen.only had 3 one hundred yard rushing games all year.if the online stay healthy and Nixon gets a 1000 for the season it's game over for everybody.
Bobby Slowik will hold them back. His run scheme is god awful, their blocking assignments get disrupted too easily when they played physical teams like Ratbirds, Jets and browns without stroud. They got exposed big time, you’re overrating Bobby Slowik way too much bro he didn’t make Stroud do what he did he carried that dudes system the entire season we saw what they looked like without him vs Titans, Jets and Browns it was one of the worst offenses in the NFL those weeks. Example Buccaneers and both Colts games they had less than 60 yards rushing each game and CJ carried Bobby’s mid system. Just what I’ve viewed in the film, games and system he runs isn’t good. It’s covered up by very talented players and not the scheme making them play like that. They always had the talent just never had the QB who has Peyton manning potential. 12-5 or 10-7 they need secondary to be better it was the worst in the AFC playoffs.
I mean a young team not really expected to do much out performed the over stacked Bills who hasnt done ANYTHING since building a team around Josh Allen. So therefor u start to look at the coaching staff for the issues. Especially when McDermott has been there for awhile and cant seen to get past the chiefs.🤷🏽♂️
@@Lostdata Y'all are too funny. They've been to the AFC Championship and have won 4 straight division titles. They've won the 3rd most regular season games since McDermott has been there. They were also a dumpster fire before him. Their biggest problem has been getting through the Chiefs in the playoffs. Josh is 4-3 against Patty during the regular season. Who hasn't done anything? If your logic is they haven't reached a Super Bowl, then the only thing that matters for Houston is nothing less than a Super Bowl right? Good luck lol.
@@jakethethird1584 cool but division titles dont mean shit in the AFC u know how many good teams there are? If it did dont u think they wouldnt have had to cut the entire team? When a program is running well u dont disrupt it. Look at jacksonville. Prime example they are still trying to find a way for TLaw to be successful. When a team realize its over this is what happens. Im not even trying to be a biased texans fan but a spade is a spade and sean mcdermott definitely messes the team up with his play calling. Same with Staley aith the Chargers. Coaches can make amazing players look absolute dog shit. Then Bills hired a new OC and their offensive play got worse.

CJ beat the bengals with a healthy joe people keep forgetting that
CJ is such a humble kid. I love him as a QB.
They are gonna be insanely good this year!

Not the cowboys playoff statistics 😂
Wish we had a QB
Hey man est.2002 😂 let us live

Yes they are a contender!
Let’s hope everything lines up nicely and they stay healthy. Their schedule this year is loaded with the Avengers and XMen
Yeah Bro Texans are definitely going in the right direction, wish Panthers would have drafted CJ but what’s done is done. A lot of teams making a lot of moves this offseason, is it September yet
I'm a Texans fan and I feel bad for that guy who showed up to the draft with his own custom made Stroud jersey only to see them take Bryce Young
You make some really really good points man!! Great video

That's to much
Damn good breakdown
We should have at least 300 yards a game
CJ Stroud QB #3 fantasy this year....
#1!

No cj is more giFted than Lawrence. He’s had more 300 yard games in one year than Trevor has had in 3.
