It's supposed to be 10 levels of fusion but all I see is level 10
I'm pretty sure you meant 11 xD
maybe it mean level 10 fusion
They're all being demonstrated simultaneously
If they show you all the levels, you won't buy their product, it's that simple
😂😂😂😂😂😂
At any given time, somebody somewhere is the best guitarist on the planet, if even only for a time. This might be your time, buddy.
he's amazing but as long as guthrie govan is alive, no one will ever take the throne from him
Playing a lot of notes quickly and cleanly does not qualify you to be the best guitarist on the planet. The concept of a single best guitarist is flawed and absurd to begin with, anyway.
@@cyclistman6358 I understand that “best” is a determination contingent on far too many qualifiers to objectively gauge, such as personal tastes, styles, contexts, etc. (as with our Govan fan above). I was just speaking in terms of technical acumen, and even then, I just wanted to throw a compliment to my guy.
@@cyclistman6358 Guthrie can not only play alot of notes fast and cleanly, he has mastered music theory, improvisation and guitar overall to it's limits, no one can play like he can. Also if you analyze when guthrie became popular (around 2014) you'll notice how basically everyone has tried to copy his style of jazz fusion. Without guthrie the world of guitar wouldnt be the same today
I tapped at level 1. Amazing! All those transcribing journeys (plus a million hours of practice and natural talent) have really paid off!
Joshua MADder... every day madder on guitar and picking just the right notes! 🤌
Joshua Meader is a true maestro.
this is absolutely amazing
Phenomenal playing
WOW killing man!
Joshua is one of the few guitarist on the planet who can hang with Matteo Mancuso ! I would love to see them vibe together !!
Vibe?? 🤦🏻♂️ ahh the new vernacular
@@michaelcorcoran3942 I would love to see him meaning Joshua at the Namm show or doing a few seminars. The kid is phenomenal.
Monstrous.
Hints of Gambale. Great runs sir!
Nice studio, is the first time I see it. New set up? It is well deserved, you and mancuso are the greatest and most inspirational guitarists I've ever stumbled upon.
Show mano, bom trabalho
Damn, that tone is sweet.
It better be, with NASA's equipment in his room.
Genius!Monster!🎉
You and Matteo are like the new Holdsworth and Gambale…incredible 🙏🤘
Lol I personally like Josh or Matteo's playing, they are very good but reading this kind of comment which compares young guitarists without a whole career to worldwide masters who invented what inspires their lines is always funny...Let them create their own style and career quietly and stop putting them under pressure with non-sense comparisons, please . Of course I wish theses guys to become the next guitar icons, their work is phenomenal and it's a pleasure to see how they extended the average level of guitar playing So wait and see...without superlatives!! Have a good day and all my best to you too🙏
@@jordaotoledano122 I’ll happily delete the comment if people think it puts pressure on Josh. It was meant in a lighthearted complimentary fashion. These guys are just blowing me away, and I think talent-wise they’re in rarified air with the greats. Not trying to compare anyone’s careers. Again, happy to delete if others think I was out of line. All the best
Calm down,we're not talking about a crime you committed 😂 I never thought you were a bad person who wrote bad comment, but as I say, superlatives are boring:CZcams is a circus and isn't the real musical world you know? Please stay on earth, there are 10 guitarists from this generation(maximum) who are going to be world guitar icons, although I hope Josh and some others to be part of them it's too prematured to compare them to guys who influenced masses during decades
And nobody wants you to delete any comments,u're free to say what u want man
Na, this comment passes the vibe check ✅
He is going to be a really good player. Keep up the practice Josh👍
Bruh, he's already a really good player. No, he's an excellent player.
I'm a big fan of that tone too.
Very clean picking, no string mute, nice solo.
Pros don’t need string mutes IMO, Josh is a real player.
@@Jimboishere11 Guthrie an Matteo use them!
Bigger than awesome!
badass
Guthrie is watching like, OK, now show me level 2.
Wow!
I don’t understand how Joshua isn’t getting the same shine as mancuso right now
If I recall, I remember hearing him say he practiced six hours a day, throughout his youth. He has reached max guitar. Stunning technique and tone!
I practiced 6-8 hours a day in my youth and I became a perfect club hack. Lol. Show me any classic rock tune and I can play it. Joshua has a special talent. This was my first time hearing him.
The Messiah has landed!
Meraviglioso
Would LOVE to know your amp and peripheral settings.
I think that was the 11th level of fusion😮
amazing skill! there are parts that remind me of Guthrie Govan.
Joshua is the 11th level, holdsworth even has a song to prove it
Daaaaaaang!
Now do it while holding the whammy bar the entire time! Scott's the man right?
Josh Meader = The Fret smoker 🔥🙂👖 Unreal playing Jeans. I really like that....
Anyone have tips for this kind of super smooth fusion tone? Is it highly dependent on amp, pedal, pickups, or any other part of the chain? I have good gear and get lead tones I like but I've never come across a pedal or amp setting or anything else that gave me this particular type of sound in a way I was happy with.
👏👏👏👏👏👏
You and Matteo Mancuso need to do some collabs. 🤘🤘
Well, looks like someone does not need their fingers to pick strings and make it smooth! The technique is flawless.
What. Is. Going. On?
Sorry I couldn’t find it anywhere… Are you using a big stubby sir? Very curious what pick…
Is each phrase a level? They all sound incredibly difficult 😂!
Does anyone have an idea of the picks josh uses?
❤
What about levels 1-9? Super articulation skills.
Мощь!
That's a limited edition Steve Vai Ibanez 'Woody' guitar
He is so fluid in his playing that he seems that he flies over the fretboard and not touch it
Isnt this level 11?
Random passerby here: anyone know which Jem this is? (Assuming custom, but figured I'd ask anyway in case anyone knows.)
Wasn't endorsed by Kiesel?
Fingers aren't supposed to glide like that 😮
This one goes to eleven
comment for algorithm... properly delicious
Like a dancing owl in disguise
Why did you start at 10?
Yeah, I'd rather have the numbering show up in the video. Didn't know you had gone up after a while. Or is it just the name and it's not a progressive difficulty demonstration?
"Level 1" lol
Just soloing
Dig the hair...
ok, we get it… you love chromatics, great playing and if it was an impro... then it was really impressive, but I think it was a very well rehearsed impro...
Arent great improvs well rehearsed? I mean to get to the point of actually being able to play the notes you hear, you wouldve been practicing and rehearsing these phrases and ideas to the point that they just come out when u play?
Like speaking, when youre young you actually have to practice your words... but as you grow older you can throw together a sentence in a snap
I think josh is just talking with tons of really complex words to convey the idea he wants to convey and i do think using musical ideas as words is the essence of improv
Yeah the guy definitely didn’t improvise. It’s rehearsal.
@@sevenchambers hmm you can watch his live stuff... he pretty much speaks this language
I dont think hes just copying allan tho... allan has his own set of chords and scales and tho josh can sound like that, in general i hear more of josh in the playing than allan to be honest... but to each his own
This guy scares me
Where the fuck are the levels ?? There is just one boss level
What the fuck is fusion meant to be. It sounds like Joe Satriani metal shred jazz. John petrucci. Blues forth movements scale runs. That strange late 80s backing tracks.
Cool playing of course and I love John Petrucci for the record....but should fusion be.... more of a fusion? But I'm probably missing something.
Historically it was jazz fusion i think (really not an expert) where traditional jazz (more in line with the 40s and 50s) started to fuse with rock, funk, rnb, asian music, etc in the 60s
So basically jazz with distortion hehe... but it can be more than that defo! Check out balawan who fuses these jazz ideas with his nations traditional music!
He’s just copying Alan holdsworth. So jazz fusion.
He's pretty good, but he doesn't hit the notes for some reason.
So you're the chops guy everyone is talking about.. 🫠
Boring as hell. Yes... great technique. This non sense music is good only for guitar nerds or Japanese audience. Make real music is a completely different thing.
Are you new here? What a ridiculous comment
@@Jimboishere11 shut the fuck up. It's my opinion and you must respect it.
Thanks for taking the time and effort to express your personal opinion as if it was a fact shared by everyone.
It still stays your own opinion though
@@arnauddd Your message is a complete waste of time. It's clear to everyone that my opinion is my opinion. You didn't add nothing special to the conversation.
Went into a wee bit of racism there bud... just a smidge... :)
Music can be simple or complex, but it doesnt have to be for everyone. Maybe consider that this is just not for you?
Japan's taste in music is a reflection of its musical education and culture, yours is a reflection of your musical education and culture.
I dont think we are in any position to suggest one is better than the other, but we can still enjoy the music that we like without having to denigrade the ones we dont just because we dont get it
