The only two times I got a nose bleed:
1: it was hot and we had P.E outside. Long story short, I rubbed my nose and all hell broke loose
2: I blew my nose. And blood
I always get my nosebleeds at night, it sucks. Because I’m so tired and I have to be in the bathroom standing up pinching my nose for 15 minutes until I can crawl back into bed. 45% of the time I get it again during class which is just even worse.

Tilting your head back means your blood doesn't stop the more blood going down your throat is more blood doesn't fix anything

I get nosebleeds all the time. One time I had a massive nosebleed in my music class in school, it went all over the piano and my teacher tried to get tissues, but by time she got out of the room....I had made a massive mess because I started choking and coughing up blood. I had to sit in the school medical room for over 2 hours...This helps because they always say to tilt your head back, but then I end up drinking my blood - ew. Anyway, I'm not here to be an author. Great video!

As for blood down my throat, I do this thing where I constrict my throat and "huff". Think of the way we make a cat's hissing sound. I get nosebleeds so often I have this down to an automatic reflex.

One of my most traumatic school incidents: I was in middle school health class and we were discussing drugs and their side effects. As they were talking about how sniffing cocaine or huffing vapors can cause nose bleeds... yep I got a full on nose bleed IN THE MIDDLE OF CLASS because it was my allergy season. I was labeled the druggie of the class because that happen. But my teacher was super nice and understanding!

I thought I saw a picture somewhere in the hidden archive of history that showed an anime girl next to hitler as they conquered whatever it was they were conquering (so anime could've been a weapon).
I've had hardcore nose bleeds since I was old enough to remember (2 or 3 yrs old) right up to now (I just turned 30). About 10 or 12 episodes a year when I was young. When I was about 7, they took me to the doctors to try and cauterize the anterior veins and I think they tried to cauterize them five separate times and gave up.
I went back when I was 16 ("maybe when he's older, the veins will be bigger and we can see them better to cauterize them") and nope, they still couldn't fix it.
They then said I would "grow out of it by the time he's 20".
Nope. Didn't grow out of it. So they said at 22, I would have to have surgery and be put to sleep and then maybe they could go in there and finally fix it. I'm terrified of surgery so I said no.
I still get them and they mostly happen in winter now, and during times of great stress in my life for some odd reason. Or if I get rundown and don't look after myself.
They're always heavy- I lose a cup of blood each time. Or enough to saturate a bath towel. They last for 40 minutes to 2 hours. I get about 3 of these nosebleeds a year now.
I distinctly remember one at age 13 which was so heavy and went for so long, I got light headed and went pale and I soaked a beach towel with a LOT of blood. I thought I was gonna pass out from blood loss and I had to go to hospital.
Thankfully they seem to have got lighter and less frequent with age.
I once had a nosebleed in the middle of the night. I thought it was just a super runny nose, until i woke up with blood on my pillow. Its happened twice before the but the second time i got up, realized it was blood and grabbed some tissue.

Leila E Same happens to me all the time at night. But for me, I just feel a difference between a runny nose and a bleeding one somehow at 4 AM. I would run to the bathroom, get toilet paper. Sometimes its even false alarms, where my nose would actually be running really bad, and I think its bleeding.

sometimes I use a small sized tampon to take care of a nosebleed if I’m too lazy, it’s not the smartest decision since tampons expand when exposed to liquid/blood and trying to take an enlarged tampon out of your nose may start another nose bleed if not careful when extracting tampon from nose

Don't worry about it tho, you don't get nosebleeds probably because you have a really good nose structure, or maybe you just stay out of trouble and don't mess with your nose, which is definitely a good thing, if it ever happens don't worry tho, it doesn't hurt and it just makes you a little light-headed if happens frequent :D

It's important to remember that anime is a medium rather than a genre. So though it is best known for it's cartoons aimed at 12 year olds, it can be about anything and be as scary/edgy/weird/etc as it likes. Also moonlight moon

I remember having a nosebleed then blowing my nose and when I looked at the tissue, there was a lot of blood
So once when I was 10 years old I was going downstairs and my sister was in a rush to get to her cheer leading class and she knocked me over and my nose hit the stairs hard. It would not stop bleeding so my mom drove me to the emergency room and they made it stop bleeding. I remember my nose would bleed 6 times for about 3 days in a row nonstop for several weeks and I would be going back and forth to the doctors. I was missing so much hours of school. I would complain and cry getting my tissue ready and whining that my nose hurted. after 6 months it improved I would only bleed 2 times for 1 day for the whole week and would only last 2-3 minutes alot of years passed and I improved alot since my nosebleeds. My nose would only bleed 4 times a year. I felt very relieved i had felt for a long time nose bleeds had taken over my life and suffering. I never thought they would end but i prayed it would go away every day .Now I am 16 and I barely get them every 1 or 2 times a year.
This story taught me I should never complain because other people have worse conditions than me
And never walk down the stairs in front of my sister again 😂😂😂

Once when i was in grade 7 our teachers for the last day of school decided "lets show our students a horror movie because what the hell"
And since Paranormal activity was really popular in the day we started watching that
This one kid broke out in a nosebleed and he was gushing blood everywhere, their was blood on the floor, desks, chairs, on his clothes
Kids were crying because they thought he was possessed
I get bloody noses like, 5 or 6 tmes a month. It sometimes goes to my mouth to. But nobody in my family gets it. My family always tells me to lay down when i get a bloody nose and to pinch my nose aswell. Now i will get on a chair infront of the sink, lean forward and pinch my nose while watching a nice video. The primary cause for a bloody nose is dry air and along with that. boggers that are dried inside the nose causing the skin to crack . Best cure...... pick them out with your fingers gently. The nose is the primary air filter to the lungs....keep it clean ! Ive had many nose bleeds. Simple solution to get them to quit....... use a tad bit of udder balm / Vaseline/ or Vicks and spread it around the inside of the nose then squeeze it together. This prevents the blood from drying to the other side of the nose. Other wise you leave go of the nose it will just re- crack. Starting the nose bleed all over again. Keep the air filter clean !
@Sayo-Nara Im very familiar with nose bleeds ! When I was a child my father would whip me with a stick because he seen me picking my nose ! Then many times I got nose bleeds in the middle of the night waking up with a pillow covered in blood. Yes...again I got whipped because my father told me I was picking my nose in bed ( hiding it ). The true reason was because my nose was always dry......and I understood at the age of 10 I needed to remove the buggers which were causing the skin in my nose to crack ! You can not just blow the buggers out ! They are too dry ! Most people have no clue why they get nose bleeds because they see it a dirty thing to do.....picking the nose. Its the primary air filter to the lungs. Keep the nose clean !

When I was in the shower, (this happens a lot not just the shower) I was about to get out when my nose started dripping. I get extreme nosebleeds, this was the worst I’ve had. It was dripping very fast like 2 drops every second and it wouldn’t stop. It eventually stopped but I felt sick after.
Another time I was having a bloody nose and didn’t release, so I sniffed really hard. Then coughed blood all over my arm and the car, it was scary lol.
