Also, one of the potential side effects of fentanyl (more common with high doses and rapid administration) is rigid chest. So your chest muscles do not move. At all. Even if a person is already on a ventilator, there is no chest movement. So, instead of a decreased respiratory drive, if someone develops rigid chest they CANNOT breathe.

I met a lady whose son had fentanyl from spiked weed and died from an overdose. It's legal here and he was probally trying to save money. I don't know why he didn't buy it from a shop, but he died from that.

Luk (49 yo male) from Belgium here. Almost 1 year ago I was diagnosed with stomachcancer adenocarcenome at the stomach entrance (cardia). Gastrectomy after chemo. All seems fine at this moment. Eating doggybag the next day 😂 is necessary. I had 4 chemo sessions followed by surgery. No follow up treatment because the disection of all extracted tissues showed no spread. When I read up on testimonies I realise I’m very fortunate having had treatment in the finest university hospital. No fizzy drinks on heavy alcohol for me anymore. I can still play lead Guitar in my coverband.

One of my brothers, all 3 are crappy people in their own way, is actively trying to unalive himself with fentanyl, he over doses once every 3 to 4 months and idk how he's still alive after 5 plus years. A coworker I had years ago just got her new apartment the day she died from fentanyal. I genuinely wished it was the other way around. She worked so hard and I believed she stayed away from drugs because her ex almost killed her. It breaks my heart that she died because she went back to heroin. RIP Cam
