This is a Japan Guide for my Top 10 Tokyo Food Tour in a Japanese Department Store Depachika at Tokyu Food Show Edge in Shibuya. There are many types of Japanese food in a Japanese department store, like Japanese bento box, Japanese breads, Tokyo vegan food and even my favorite, Japanese karaage also known as fried chicken. Japanese Department Store Food is area is often called depachika because depa is short for Department and chika means basement in Japanese and that is where the food area is located in most Japan department stores. This tour of Japanese food in Department Store is almost like a Tokyo Street food tour since many of these foods are too go. In fact, there is a center eating space at Tokyu Food Show. Hope you can use the Tokyo travel guide as a way to navigate through Tokyo and the Shibuya area.

Paolo fromTOKYO DAY IN A LIFE OF A MEDICAL STUDENT ! PLEASEEEEE!!!!!
Ayyyyy, Paolo is nearly at 1 mill subs 🎉👏🏾👏🏾
I'm a white, chunky, Canadian Granny and I LOVE your channel!! I'm going to post it on other channels I follow. 💙💙💙👍👍👍
Isn't raw egg dangerous to eat? You can get sick from that not?
Congratulations 🎉 baby daddy
She has a different voice when she speaks japanese. So cute💓😍
Interestingly people actually have slightly different personalities in different languages. Which could of course extend to the voice, but could also be because of the sounds of certain languages of course.
@@amara560 very true, also how the language itself works, I say the same thing in English and Chinese but one could offend someone
LOL! When Maiko said "I hate eating after you!" xD She is too precious
Ikr I always eat first before my husband
Understandable, my boyfriend asks for a bite of my food or a sip of my drink and some how manages to eat half of it in one bite/drink.
My husband and I love y'alls videos! Our last day in Japan is tomorrow and we used your videos to help us pretty much go everywhere major in Kyoto and Osaka! We were even able to travel to Nara and Akihabara and are planning our last day to explore either Shibuya or Shinjuku. Thank you and Maiko for all of your awesome videos we can't wait to use them again when we come back next year!
Kristi Stoneking Is it safe to travel to Osaka and Kyoto with 2 yr old child with Coronavirus issue?
@@thediangsons6457 better you dont travel at all with such a small child
@@thediangsons6457HELL NO! DON'T BE TRAVELING ANYWHERE WITH A KID! ANY PLACE WITH TOURIST'S .........STAY AWAY FROM!
We live in Tokyo too, but don't get out as much as you! Your videos are great because you have appreciation for Western taste. You should do one on food you DIDN'T like. Some of the variety travel/food shows on Japanese TV drive me crazy because the presenters ALWAYS ALWAYS love whatever they are trying. They do the zoom in close up as the presenter puts the food in their mouth trying to build suspense..."will they like it?" Of course they like it...they ALWAYS like it, "oishiiii," "umaaai." ALWAYS. Give us old-timers a treat and show some places you didn't like!
Japanese department stores are like Disney Land 😂❤
Me when going to Department store
*goes straight to dessert section*
I always get scared entering Japanese department stores. I always feel like I’m gonna get lost and end up in the wormhole and pop up on the other side of Japan
What have you been smoking and where can I get it?
I know how you feel bro...
I got lost in Shinjuku station and its stores trying to find the Pablo cheesecake shop 😂asked 4 people before I could find it.
richard kerr it’s v easy to get lost shdhd, I would always have a hard time getting to the right exit from when I stayed in ikebukuro
@@amara560 damn same man. Went to Disney Land and took the train that goes straight to shinjuku since it was near my place. Got lost there during rush hour which took me 30 mins to find the train line i went to, worse, i took the one that goes in reverse of my actual stop which took another 30 mins. Gave me a headache that night but my most memorable moment for sure
I thoroughly enjoy this style of video. Much more candid, personal, and natural. Joking and reviewing with the family. Very good 😊
This man looks, and feels so heartwarming, this video showed up in my recommendtions. And i am satisfied dont ever stop making vidoes(or at least for some time) I will be sure to visit & travel to Japan when i turn 18 & move to Korea!

I'll probably never get to visit Japan or eat any of this delicious looking food you are showing us, but it sure is fun to watch the two of you react to the food you are tasting. I get a real sense of just how good the food is and how much you are enjoying it.
Just look at the friendly and POLITENESS of the sales person I feel like we could learn a lot from Japanese people.

Maiko’s English is amazing! I love you two can speak both languages so fluently!
Another nicely made vlog. Thanks for sharing.
NOTIFICATION SQUADDDD!!!!!!!!! Bro, i loove your content.
Love your food videos, I sit here in Melbourne just drooling. Mille Feuille (pronounced as "mil foy") means "a thousand leaves" 千葉 ... hence all the layers in that super tasty dish. The word "feuille" can also mean things such as a "sheet" of paper" 😀😀😀
such a good video! I love the content so much!! Always a supporter of Paolo.Hope more of this kind videos coming. Can't wait to visit Japan again
Paolo fromTOKYO, making people from all over the world hungry with a big smile :)
ウナ玉丼は美味しそう!😍 great video, Paolo and Maiko :)

Hey Paolo! New subscriber but been living in Tokyo for 20 years (from Canada). I’m loving your vids wow! There’s just so much to explore in japan and it blows my mind...
I love your videos its so brightening
Thanks for this. Awesome timing. I was about to head to shibuya in an hour!
I made sure to eat a heavy dinner before watching this... But it was futile, I still drooled watching this video... Especially when the Shibuya Scramble Mille Feuille was featured... Yuuuuummm...
I would also like to kindly request "A day in the life of a Yakuza".
There is a channel called "the anime man" he interviewed a yakuza

Scramble square is INSANE! I was so overwhelmed when I went haha but it was amazing!
Oh my gosh, I really want all that delicious food 😫🤤. By the way, Maiko looks so beautiful 🤩
You never fail to make me so hungry!!!
Everything looks so delicious
AWESOME VIDEOS BROTHER!! MUCH LOVE FROM NZ 🇳🇿
That looks so beautiful and yummy to eat! Japanese departments stores are really awesome. This reminded me of how luxurious and elegant department stores used to be in my childhood. Nowadays, the departments stores in my country really sucks. I like how japan still have clean uniforms, beautiful decors and polite staff in their stores.
Love your video.
New subscriber but been watching a lot of videos. Congrats on the baby on the way!
I dk y im addicted on watchin ur episodes 🤣🤣😁keep it up
Paolo looking genuinely excited to taste these food, makes me wish I was in Japan!
Me, too. Japan sounds wonderful!
Great video! Can't wait to go back to Tokyo to try all that food! :)
i need to visit japan, food presentation is out of this world
I love you guys! Maiko is so adorable! And relatable! I love any Japanese girl that mixes Japanese and English 😆 me and my interpreter friends, our conversations all are mix of both languages because sometimes theres a better word or phrase in which ever language and we all know EXACTLY what each other are saying!
Congrats on the baby, and love your videos
They all look delicious 😋🇯🇵👍
...Thank you for the Tour,,very Nice Video... :) keep it up sir!
Can't wait to watch your videos.. upload frequently please
Good luck for 1 million paolo!
You Both Work Well Together❤❤❤❤
I was just there last week on Saturday! Was hoping you filmed me in the background!!!
I was in Shibuya just a couple of days before Scramble opened and was always curious what they would do with the store and food. Thanks for showcasing all these foods, they look so delicious!
Now I definitely need to return to Tokyo.
参考にして、今度買ってみます!
Oh wow, I was just there 2 days ago. Still in Shibuya. Lovely area
