These are my must-know travel Tips and Hacks for transportation in Japan. This travel guide will help you in Tokyo as well as if you are traveling throughout japan. Many people think the main form of transportation in Japan is train, but you can actually travel by Japan LCC flights, Japan buses, Japan Taxi and even Japan rental car which will go over in this video. This is what I really like about Paolo. Unlike other Japan CZcamsrs, Paolo is intricate with numbers and that's what's really important. It gives insight on the Do's and Don'ts which really helps if you're a foreigner. I hope he goes more in depth with Surviving Japan. The stuff you should avoid doing and the areas you should avoid going since that's the things that people fear the most.

Great video! One thing worth mentioning is that when using the Japan Rail Pass for green seats you have to reserve them ahead of time. If you use the regular Japan Rail Pass you can just show your pass and hop on the train. Just something to keep in mind. I personally like the flexibility of being able to jump on the train last minute without a reservation. You can still make a reservation with the regular pass but it isn't necessary.

#9: travel by motorcycle, the best way to experience the countryside during the nicer seasons of the year. Takes a bit more effort then car rentals since supply & demand is more limited, but overall works the same.
I loved my month-long trip across the country by motorcycle last October. :3

I was very happy with the JR Pass. We traveled from Toyko to Osaka, Kyoto and Hiroshima and back. I will buy this pass again the next time I will be in Japan

Long time viewer here, Paolo. I gotta say we had a terrible experience with Luggage-Free Travel when we were in Japan last year. For some reason the concierge at our hotel recommended using them (rather than the hotel chain's own baggage transfer service, maybe a kickback?). Their system took forever to accept our bags, then longer to actually print the labels, our bags arrived late, and we discovered the service was more expensive than the hotel's own transfer service! In the end it almost caused us to miss our train.
We used the hotel's transfer service the next time we moved on, and it worked quickly and perfectly.
Maybe it was a lack of training and preparedness shared between the hotel staff and the LFT staff, but I'd recommend people give themselves plenty of extra time if trying to use LFT.
