These are a fair bit different in comparison to those. These are much better leather boots in my opinion.

hey josh, thanks for all the work you put into this channel it helped me a lot over these 3 years to pick the best possible boots and entertainment as well. I have a small question i recently picked up nike tiempo legend 7 in my usuall size 11.5 and out of the box they put some pressure on my toe, pretty snug although i have may be 1/8 of an inch till the end of the shoe. Do you think they will strech a bit after i break them in or should. i go half a size up just your opinion.
They'll likely stretch, but it's hard to say. If they don't hurt to wear right now, they'll likely stretch just enough after a few wears.

I was about to buy these last week. I tried them on and they felt great, I miss wearing Tiempo cleats. I'm about to start college soccer and was wondering how well do you think these would hold up since we play on a turf field and I think most of our opponents have turf fields as well?
I wouldn't really recommend wearing FG boots on artificial grass. I'm sure they'll release an AG-Pro variation though.

I think this boot is probably the king of value right now. I can't think of another boot in this price range that I would rather have. I personally picked my pair up brand new from dicks sporting goods for under 100 bucks. Used a 20% off coupon. Even without the coupon they can be readily had for 116. Can you think of a boot you would rather have for the same price? I can not.

The Legacy 3 is a far better quality shoe in comparison to the X 17.2.

I really don't think that either of them are very good at all. At that price range, I would strongly recommend the Nike Hypervenom Phelon 3 over the two that you mentioned.

If you're looking for a more true leather feel and experience, definitely these. If you want a thinner boot with some leather, the Ace. It depends on what you want/like.
Good review overall. Love my legacy III :) wish they had an AG plate for us Americans.

Soccer Reviews For You yeah we get the shaft for now. Everywhere outside of North America can get the AG plate on the legacy. As well as the pitch black pack legend 7 with AG that we also can not get. I spoke with Nike today about this....

Hey Josh - I am an attacking Midfielder playing in the Spanish 3rd division - I currently own Superflys and puma evo speed but am not a huge fan of Puma after trying them out and do not particularly like the collar addition to the superfly - what boot would you recommend for an attacking midfielder with pace but an eye for goal - not overly tricky but with good passing range.

Sneh S yes it is. Kangaroo leather vs calf and a better sole plate just to name a couple improvement over the previous legacy. I also prefer the fit better. Legacy iii> Nike premier 1> Nike premier 2> legacy ii IMO

I would personally prefer the Legacy 3 in all honesty, mainly because I prefer the leather uppers. Neither of them will feel anything like a Mercurial though. If you want the feel of a Mercurial, get a Mercurial.

That's just how the sizing works. It has nothing to with the boot stretching.

Nike dont seem to do this boot in an AG soleplate in the UK anymore (either as the legacy 3 or the legend pro). Do you know of any reason why? Its frustrating. Only the hypervenom and mercurial "pro" editions come with an AG soleplate now.
They still make them, just not in every colorway, and when they do come out, they tend to sell out pretty quickly.

They're definitely better than the Copa 17.2. The Copa 17.1 is on par in terms of overall quality, it would just be a matter of what you want at that point. They're both very good.

I'd say they pretty equal in terms of overall quality. The different is mainly going to be the fit and the more aggressive stud pattern on the latest Tiempo generation.

Emile Heskey ag is used on bladed artificial turf field that typically have little rubber pellets. sometimes they won't but you'll know it's artificial grass by the plastic blades of "grass". fg should be used on natural grass fields. turf shoes can be worn on artificial grass fields, but typically are worn on more carpet-like turf, hence the really short rubber studs. hope this helps!!
How would you compare the thickness of the Legend VII upper vs the Rebula MIJ one?
It's definitely thicker. You only feel the leather on the Legend, while on the Rebula you feel the leather in combination with the memory foam Comfort Frame.

As long as you keep them clean and let them dry out properly after each use, they should be fine. Smell is typically more so down to the person wearing the boots. If your feet smell, so will your boots.

These are $20 more than the Premier 2, but I think they're better quality overall and a better general boot in my opinion. That's not to say that the Premier 2 is bad, because it isn't, but I would rather spend the extra for the Legacy 3.
