I got the indoor ones and it's very high volume. The last tiempos I had were the 6 also academy but the volume was much lower than the 8. Excited to try out the leather though! Update: Leather breaks in and softens up nicely. I added a pair of insoles and it worked fine.
i just bought one for USD35, clearance stock...i tried Adidas Copa, x17.4 etc.. & Puma Evopower Vigor 2 but this Tiempo 8 Academy really my normal to wide feet...UK9/CM28..cant wait to play football again at age 40 :P

Tiempo Legend academy, 2. Phantom vsn academy. I would also like to know whether you use your usual 9.5 US in the X16. 1 and the Tiempo academy? Lastly I would like to know whether i should try a size down in the tiempo academy as calfskin leather will stretch? I currently use 8.5 US in the X16. 1

Hi Josh, you mentioned that the leather is softer that the cheaper synthetics, but for how long because I recall my older leather boots (Predator Rapiers and Touch) being hard to keep soft, even with good care? Is there a process nowadays that protects leather boots, thus providing greater longevity? I have stuck with Tejin which has served me well and I am also trying + primenit as well. So easy to take care of ;)

I have a pair of the Tiempo Legend 7 Academy and wouldn't recommend you use them on artificial grass. That's just my experience, but I was hurting afterwards. The grip is strong in that sole plate. Hopefully others have a different experience. Now that these are out, I'm looking to find the Tiempo Legends 7 Pro or Elite on sale haha!
I'll have to use these on artificial grass quite often this year, does anybody know if they are going to be good? As he said the soleplate is quite the same as the fg... I'm afraid they will break soon on AG / they are going to hurt my body for being FG made / they will feel too grippy... on swiss Nike store website they are sold as MG and I forgot to check the soleplate picture :/
The problem with these boots is the QA, two pairs of these now, 3+ studs have torn off on 3G pitches after several games, abysmal quality. Won't buy these a third time, shame, because they feel great and play great.
I suggest you make more AG version reviews. Northern countries use synthetic pitches more. I have a question for you regardless the soleplate. Would you go with Tiempo 7 Academy AG-Pro or Tiempo 8 Academy AG? Which one is better for you?
